This place is perfect for a budget friendly trip. The staff is really nice and helpful, and a fun group. You may pay a tad more here than you would if you stayed in town, but it's totally worth it. You can walk to any of the trams, restaurants and bars, the village has a fun atmosphere as well. Realize, the village is a very prime location, most of the hotels there charge almost double what the Hostel charges, and you probably won't be planning on spending a ton of time in your room, so no microwave or tv- no problem. Internet is available and they have a microwave in the lobby. The bathroom is not big, but it worked fine for me @ 6'1" 190 lbs. If you understand what you are getting, this place is amazing for the price/location. I will certainly stay again when I return.Rooms: Clean, decent size. Nice bed.Nearby activities: Tons of stuff to do for adults and kids. Walking distance to all trams, restaurants, bars, shops, and a common area with live music and activities.Safety: I never had any safety concerns, very friendly place

We stayed in a private king room for Christmas and had the best time ever. I ve stayed in a few hostels before and this one was hands down the best experience! It s very conveniently located with free parking and our room was exceptionally clean and updated. The staff were incredibly friendly and everything went smoothly the entire time. The common area is clean and has a lot of fun games and amenities. We ll definitely stay here again on our next trip, I hope this place stays a part of the village for many years.

First time staying this close to the mountain. It was such a fun time staying here and a great concept with a community area for congregating after skiing and meeting new friends to hang out with and play games. It's very cozy and any comfort needed they have available. I ended up getting hurt our last day and they had no problems changing our room to the bottom floor so I didn't have to go up 4 flights of stairs. They don't have elevators and that's important to know. They are a short walk to the gondola and lifts which was amazing as well! Would stay here again.

Great location close to the lifts and restuarants. We enjoyed the basement rec room with TV, table tennis, pool, and shuffle board. We bought food for breakfast and lunch in Jackson and stored it in the large refridgerators at the hostel which helped save a lot of food! Friendly staff and guests! Loved the free parking close the hostel and base of the resort.Rooms: Basic rooms with enough space to be comfortable.

It s a really nice hostel, the room is big and clean and has very nice layout with everything you need, and because we came in the non-skiing season there are not many ppl and it s very quiet. The public area has a lot of entertainments, we played ping pong for a while and it s really fun. Front desk has toothpaste and shampoo if you need, also hot tea and coffee. Would love to come back!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL. When we got to this place and went into our room, it was small (that s okay), looked very clean but there are absolutely no amenities. No shampoo, no conditioner a couple of towels was it. On the wall was a new air conditioner with a sign that said Our new A.C is not operational quite yet almost there . I read a review from March 2023 ( we re here in the middle of Aug. of 2023 ) and that review had the same sign on it. But to our surprise they did furnish a fan. Not looking forward to along HOT night. Also they don t furnish a T.V or a mini refrigerator, no dresser ( to put things on ). But they have a common use area in the basement that has a fridge and microwave. I would not want to put our food in a fridge where other people can help themselves.Out of curiosity I looked up Motel 6, they have all of these amenities with a clean room at a better price. You would think that in a place like Teton Village that you d find better. They have renovated the rooms. They covered the walls with plywood and painted them a dark green, very tacky in my opinion. They need to be up front a honest with people both on line and on the phone when booking a room and tell you what they don t provide.Absolutely not worth the money.

I really enjoy this hostel. It's clean, the staff are all lovely, and the private king rooms are spacious and comfortable. You won't get a TV, mini fridge or in room amenities beyond some soap, but otherwise it holds its own compared with other options in town at comparable prices (in the summer) like the Super 8 or Virginian. In the winter, it becomes comparatively pricier to some town options, but more than reasonable for slopeside access and being stumbling distance to the Moose. Overall, big fan, and if hostels are your jam, this is a great one!

Definitely a good deal for what you re paying for. Rooms were newly renovated, super clean, and had a private bathroom. Stayed there for a week there last week with a friend. Staff were very nice and accommodating (Especially Lionel Richie) They happily switched my friend and I to another room because the electricians cut the power to our room because they are renovating. The lobby area is nice lots of sitting area with things to do. They do have microwaves for food, which is limiting for food, but it s manageable. Wish there was a kitchenette or something like that. But overall good stay, would definitely come back!

Paid $200 for one night with stained sheets and broken AC. Couldn t sleep the whole night because of how noisy the other guests were. With that being said, the staff were more than willing to listen to our concerns and responded well. The location is adorable. Probably wouldn t book there again, but it got us through the night that we needed to be there.

Overall okay room but the biggest problem was not being able to access the cooler and microwave downstairs in the morning til 7:30am and we were going to leave at 7am. So I was up early but ended up having to wait around an hour and put us behind schedule because we could not leave when we wanted to. If I had known I would have gotten stuff out at midnight. Seems like it would have been really easy to give key card access to that to people staying in rooms to eliminate a simple problem.

If you re a 20-something looking for a cheap place to party between ski days this place is for you. Basic sums it up. Actual rooms have been renovated and look better than pics online, but be prepared for no TV, no shampoo in the shower, etc. it s a bare minimum kind of place. Those of us 40+ that actually want to go to sleep before midnight will look elsewhere. (Only stayed here in the first place because it was booked on my behalf and wasn t told where I was staying until it was too late to change).

Slope side, clean rooms with comfortable beds and wonderful common space. You absolutely can not beat it!Nearby activities: Next door to the Mangy Moose Saloon, right at the base of the Tram

This is an amazing time capsule from the beginning of Jackson Hole. Buts it s so comfortable. Private shower and comfortable bed. Not luxury but function. You ski right back to the building! So cool. Meeting other skiers down in the common rooms, planning the next days runs on the wall map, shooting pool, hanging in the pillow lounge with laptops or phones. It s old school in the best way. No TV in rooms, just sleep. I love this place. Walk to everything Teton Village. Next to Mangy moose or higher end restaurants.

I've stayed here many times. For backpackers, I don't think there is a better spot to stay than here if you're doing the TCT. Literally few hundred yards away from the tram. Rooms are nothing great. For backpacking purposes, always been perfect spot for us. Taking wife on a trip to Tetons/Yellowstone? Mine was not a fan. Beautiful location, rooms with beds and shower/toilet, really all you need. You don't come to the Teton to sit in your rooms.

Do you like being woken up to the sound of construction every morning? How about the lack of an actual kitchen in a place that calls itself a hostel? Do you like toilets that require multiple flushes to work? How about the feeling of being in a dungeon when you're actually in your room? Construction workers yelling at their co-workers? Trash outside of your front door? Paper thin walls? Extremely slow wifi that drops connection? Then the hostel is your place. The ONLY redeeming quality is the location. Otherwise this place is the worst place I have ever stayed at.It's the only affordable place in town, but that doesn't mean it's cheap. Truly disappointing. Not sure where all the positive reviews are coming from. This place is a nightmare. And a word to the owners, if your building is under construction ADVERTISE IT. I don't want to learn about it at 8 am on a Tuesday morning when I'm trying to sleep and saws and hammers are blasting away. All in all, do not stay here. Save up, split a room at a different spot with friends. It's worth it. The hostel is not.

Cleanest hotel room I have stayed in. Lots of hotels don t wash the sheets and we definitely had nice clean sheets! Bathroom is super small! It s good for one person or if are staying less than 3 nights. But everyone was very nice and helpful! Also less than 20 minutes from the Jackson hole area and 2 hours to the Yellowstone entrance.

The room was a welcome reprieve after a week sleeping under a tarp. Clean and comfortable bed. Bathroom was small but functional, plenty of hot water. No AC, but there was a fan in the room which managed the July temperature just fine. The staff was very helpful and friendly, good people.
