If I could give this less than one start I would. My experience started with our first phone call. I called ahead to verify that two specific vehicles were in their inventory, I was told they were. When I arrived I was then told they didn't have those two exact vehicles but did have two similar. I decided to take the first one for a ride and immediately noticed things wrong that could be potential problems immediately. When i came back they had already pulled in a whole different vehicle to check out. I went ahead and test drove it as it was in my range and met the specs I was looking for. Immediately I noticed the belt squealed and there was a airy sounding knock. I asked about these and was assured that it was from them cleaning the engine area and it would settle as it dries. I noted a few minor problems but had decided that it was worth my money.3 weeks later I come home late from work and noticed a large puddle of oil. I called to have them take a look at this large of a leak doesn't just happen over night and they informed me that because I couldn't afford their only warranty (2 yr deluxe warranty for just over $2000) they wouldn't even look at it free of charge. After our interaction I filled a claim with BBB. I called again on Monday and was told they would look at it if I dropped my claim. That's extortion I don't play those games. We went back and forth and in the end my claim stuck and I didn't get it fixed. I took it to another shop I trust and discovered it was the engine oil filter and cooler was cracked and two transmission hoses were split. Things that should have been at the very least noted as future repairs. In the end I drove my car 3 weeks before having to pay a little over $1,000 to keep it running.Poor customer service and poor business practices. Would suggest to my worse enemy. They are very kind and pleasant to talk to but in the end meet the true definition and a shifty salesman.

My experience, the truck was as described, no ridiculous high pressure sales tactics, no annoying extra garbage during financing, finance guy was quick and friendly. This dealership is fine.

Had a good experience with Timothy, and Kyle. Bought a 2008 Ramm 1500.After getting the truck home, and driving it awhile. I noticed a few little issues. Nothing Major. They agreed to have the issues taken care of.Nothing but good things to say.

Best car lot in Fond du Lac to deal with!! The people are awesome, the service is awesome, and the vehicles they sell are awesome!! I had an issue with my truck that was covered by the warranty and it was fixed in one day! Thank you Ultimate rides!! I would also like to say that I have read some other reviews and can't belive how stupid some people are!! You are buying a used car!! You can't expect it to be in brand new condition!! The truck I bought is a 2012 and it is so nice for an 11 year old truck .I have been asked if it is new! Bottom line though, Ultimate Rides has made sure I am happy with my purchase from day one!! If you want a brand new car, go to a new car dealer!! If you want a great used car at a good price and great people to stand behind your purchase, go to Ultimate Rides in Fond du Lac, Wi!

Sold me a $15k car with a bad transmission. Yes, it's used, but that's why I paid for the extended warranty. If I am buying a junk car, I'll be covered. They gave me the run-around on the $3k extended warranty that I purchased to cover these types of issues. They told me all kinds of stories about when they would have a service department started because you are supposed to go through the place you bought it from. If you don't have a service department, how do you inspect the cars you sell? Who inspects them? Finally, just before my extended warranty was up, I was able to find a legitimate dealer to provide the transmission replacement, through no help from Ultimate Rides. I was without my car for six weeks-I feel lucky that I have the resources to have gotten a new transmission. I probably invested 100+ hours in getting screwed around on this purchase, aside from the weeks without a car. Not everyone has that kind of time or patience to waste. I also purchased GAP coverage and chased them well beyond the legally required refund time. I'm being nice with this review compared to the experience I had. I am expecting the owner will respond with something that will not be apologetic and perhaps will even be insulting, but it's worth it if it keeps another person from buying a vehicle here.

If you plan to purchase a vehicle from Ultimate Rides, PLEASE have a professional mechanic check it out first. If the dealership does not allow it, walk away.My father needed a vehicle quickly as his had some unsafe conditions his mechanic noted and he needed to go on a trip the following weekend. He found a nice vehicle but noted it needed brakes which the dealer agreed to take care of. When he went back I went with to help evaluate the vehicle. Aside from a little rust, (not unexpected for a 10 year old 166k mile vehicle from Wisconsin.) the vehicle was pretty clean. It sounded fine but when I test drove it I noted that the back brakes had a metal on metal noise. Otherwise it drove fine and my code reader did not pick anything up. They also helped him get get financing with a reputable bank.Being a Saturday they said they did not have a technician to check the rear brakes and if my father purchased the vehicle and called the following business day they would get the vehicle in to have their tech look at it. My father agreed and purchased the vehicle. I wish I had been more adamant about my apprehensions. The following week he called they claimed that they could not get him in right away and then would not return his calls. After one check engine light and an over heating issue after the first two days of ownership he took it to his mechanic. It turns out the pads on the rear brakes were not the correct pads and had excess grease on them to try and keep them quiet. The mechanic also found that the water pump had a slow leak and the belt tensioner bearing is on the edge. Not sure how I missed that one. While on his trip he had a random check engine light and warning bell that comes and goes.I can understand that they will not catch everything on the inspection but a coolant leak and the brake issue is unforgiveable without disclosure. Not sure if they actually do anything but pencil whip the state required inspection.I will not recommend this place to anyone and am mad at myself for not paying attention to previous reviews before suggesting a few of the vehicle at Ultimate Rides to my father.Response to owner.I did not call because it was my father's purchase. He did speak to the manager but ran out of time waiting for a response and needed the repairs quickly. I hope he tries to get hold of you when he is able.

Run don't walk to another dealership! They do nothing to their vehicles. Not even an oil change. Rear breaks were bad and needed to be replaced. Tim added on a warranty to our total without telling us. We never received any of the paperwork from our purchase. We will never buy from them again.

My wife bought a care in January when she was in need of a car. She bought a 2010 ford fusion that she didn't really want but the salesguy really sold her on it, saying this car was in great condition. We took it to our mechanic, and they gave us a list of issues that should have been indicated on the inspection sell sheet. It was leaking oil and transmission leak as well as loose subframe. We took it back and supposedly they fixed everything. The transmission fluid has been leaking ever since, and we paid 140 dollars for our shop to degrease everything and find out there is a crack in the transmission which is causing the transmission to leak. I asked them when we were buying the car about there bad reviews, and they said they were all old and "they are better now with the new building". I now can see with my own eyes that they sell Lemons and truly try to sell you broken cars.

Bought a truck 3 weeks ago from Ultimate Rides Fond du Lac. Truck needed a new TPMS sensor which is no big issue. Tim told me he would mail me a sensor and I agreed. It s even written in my contract. 3 weeks later and multiple calls and no one has shipped the sensor. The last guy I spoke to tried to pass me off to their Appleton location. These guys will lie straight to your face. Typical sales sleezebags.

Lack of integrity and honesty when selling a vehicle. We test-drove a Honda Civic. It was making weird noises, but they assured us it was because they rotated the tires and until the "unevenness" of the tires equalized, it would make that noise. They assured us that their mechanic thoroughly looked through the car and said that there is nothing wrong with the car.The driver-side visor was missing. They said that they would get us a new one in a week or two. Two months later and multiple calls later, we still were getting excuses as to why we weren't getting a new visor. In addition, the air conditioning wasn't working. Which was evident the day after we bought it. (The night we bought it, it was cool outside and raining, so it was hard to test this). We called about this too and they kept promising to fix it. Yet, setting up a time to get the visor fixed and A/C fixed was always being prolonged and dragged out.Lastly about 2 months after we bought the vehicle it stalled on the side of the road. We had it looked at by another mechanic. They drained metal from the oil and noticed the rods on the engine were loose causing the metal to leak into the oil. The engine was shot. $4,000 to fix it.We called Ultimate Rides. On the phone they said, once again, they'd fix everything if we could figure out a way to get it down to them. But once I put it in writing in a text message they went back on what they said and no longer agreed to fix anything.I'm so disappointed in the way they run their business without any integrity. Will never go back.

First time buying from a dealer for me. I was too enamored with the vehicle to inspect it properly. For starters, they lied in the ad and said that it was a manual when it was an automatic. I almost walked out, but was a 2 hour drive there, and I told myself to just go with the car because I loved it otherwise, and I'm no stranger to swapping transmissions. On the way home, the headliner was smacking me in the head, and was completely detached in the rear. Engine oil was black, as was differential oil. The engine rear main seal started leaking 6,000 miles later. Vehicle was unusually floaty and had rear wheel tramp. Found one bad rear shock. Front brake pads almost worn out. Rear tires nearly bald. Window and mirror controls defective likely due to sloppy detail and cleaner inside. I cleaned the contacts, which solved the problem. I'm very good with mechanics, etc., have learned to do virtually everything myself including rebuilding engines, etc., partly from dealing with dishonest people. I'll likely make all repairs myself. Way less hassle than trying to fight this place, but I won't be back. The other reviews are evidence that this is regular practice for them. Vehicle was $22,000, 9 years old, 62,000 miles. I was naive. Lesson learned.*Response to dealer: Inspecting it is your job if you want to have a good reputation. Jacked up headliner, window controls, blackened oil, used up brake pads, and bad shock absorbers are minimal repairs if you want to charge full bluebook value.

We drove down from Appleton to test drive a vehicle. I confirmed its availability two hours before we arrived over the phone, but when we got there, the salesman said it had been sold the day before, but we could check out what he had on hand. Total waste of our time. Either a miscommunication, or he deliberately lied to get us onto the lot. Judging by the other negative reviews, I would assume the latter.

1 star is a true compliment for this place. I Talked to 3 different salesmen about the condition of a ford ranger, all 3 lied thru there teeth and said it wasn't rotted out. Told them it was a 4.5 hour drive to get there so just be honest with me. When I viewed the truck I said to the salesmen ,its all rotted out! He said really? Where? The entire truck was full of rot! No apology, no explanation, no nothing other than him him saying, so it's not what your looking for? They could care less about the distance I drove and the lies they told. Nothing worse thana lying used car salesman!! Steer clear of this place!

Service was good however test drove a vehicle. Loud noise coming from tire area and very bumpy after 10 mph. Additionally the check engine light turned on. They asked what they needed to do to sell me the car. I wanted proof these issues were fixed. They never got back to me. Went to 2 different lots, same company and both had some pretty obvious problems with the cars. Not sure I would consider buying from this dealer.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! The absolute worst dealer I've ever worked with in my entire life, probably will be EVER. At first glance, they seem okay. Once you start getting deeper into the process and looking at finite details with whatever vehicle you're interested in, chances are you'll find a plethora of issues tucked away, shoved under the rug. Timothy and Kyle will work tirelessly to praise the vehicle and tell you all that you want to hear, without acknowledging any issues, even if blatantly visible/noticeable. If they do acknowledge, they will downplay them to no end and will hardly budge on price. These guys must mainly buy junker/salvage/repo cars off auction sites, and flip them with dirty, cheap tricks, leaving many issues intact still plaguing operation, without disclosure. When I mentioned all the various issues clearly noticed to begin negotiating a new price, I was met with defensiveness and brush offs. I wasn't allowed to test drive the car myself, they drove it only while I road along, are you kidding me? The test drive was exceedingly dangerous and reckless, Timothy took the vehicle to near 130mph!! When I asked to pop the hood to look at the engine further, they told me to wait in the lobby first; turns out they couldn't even fix the disconnected latch cable to the hood release and decided to pop it manually through the front grill each time, a truly shameful display. Many reviews on here will state squealing, whining, creaking problems with belts, pulleys, shocks, and such. The drive belt snapped and shredded the moment I got home, luckily it happened right after the drive and not during; they must've installed a used belt from the junkyard just to get her by. I spent about a month replacing all sorts of stuff to get the vehicle in an excellent working condition as it should've off the lot, didn't take much cost-wise, just some TLC. They will milk you further by charging an erroneous "warranty" fee of a few grand, that you'll never use. Even if you do want to, you'll be met with all sorts of conflict, denial, brush-offs, and false promises. Try to deny purchasing it, and you'll get a seminar lecture on how you need to get it. If you try to call the insurance company that issues the warranty itself to cancel it, they simply send you on a U-turn to work with the dealer. Tons and tons of fluff and fakeness, you'll be able to tell right away when conversing with either of them, especially Timothy. Only reason why I decided to still go forward was because I knew from the issues noticed what needed to be done to get the vehicle back up in operation, based on previous work experience on the make/model, and that the specific package being sold was relatively rare in of itself, otherwise I would've jumped outta there in a heartbeat!! Just don't do it, it's really not worth it. I had more problems to sort out months after leaving with the car!!

I made the mistake of purchasing a 2013 Chevy equinox from these snake oil salesmen, all though they were kind, they sold me a lemon. When I first purchased the vehicle the tires were bald, the gas tank was completely empty, and there were two front tire sensors that needed to be replaced. I was promised they would replace the sensors after I made the purchase. Which was fine by me. They did replace those after I called multiple times. About a week later of driving the vehicle I noticed a strange noise coming from the front end of my vehicle, it was an exhaust leak. Which they attempted to cover up with a HOSE CLAMP. Then about 2 weeks after that my front bumper started to come off, it was GLUED together, not bolted. I ve had the vehicle for a little over a year now, I ve had to replace the starter and the battery, I now have a plethora of wiring issues, and both my engine and transmission is leaking. DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE FROM HERE!!! LITERALLY GO ANYWHERE ELSE!!!

AJ and Tim were absolutely amazing! I came in with something in mind I had seen online. When they brought it up the tech said it had a little shake so they let us drive it, but by the time we got back they had pulled two other amazing options in our price range up. They were not pushy, well informed and super fun to work with. Will definitely be recommending.

I had a very poor experience with this dealership. I test drove a vehicle and after I gave it a once over I noticed the ac-compressor was leaking. Tim and I discussed numbers and I brought to his attention the ac-compressor leak. I was willing to buy the vehicle as long as the issue was addressed. Which I was told it would be fixed. I paid for the vehicle that day. I came back 2 days later to pick the vehicle up after the supposed repairs where done. I looked under the vehicle and the ac-compressor was still leaking they advised me that it was just residue that hadn't been cleaned off. I should have baked out of the purchase at this point but I took the vehicle home at this point cleaned the compressor off and let it run. I could tell where it was leaking form right away. I called Tim back up and told him that it was still leaking I was told to bring the vehicle back so they could look at it. So I took the vehicle back and they had it for 3 more days then called me and said it had been fixed again. I drove the vehicle to the gas station to put fuel in. I decided to look under the vehicle again and lone behold it was still leaking I drove right back to the dealership and had them look for them selfs that it was still leaking. I was told again it must just be residue from before. I took it home again I cleaned it and could see right where the leak was again. like it had never even been fixed. I called again and said it is still leaking and the issue needs to be fixed. This is when they started being very rued telling me they replaced it with a brand new one which you could clearly see it was definitely not. I took the vehicle back again and a week later they called and said it was done. I picked the vehicle up again. AND NEEDLES TO SAY IT IS STILL LEAKING they are now unwilling to do anymore as it is out of the 30 day warranty. From my experience this is the worst dealership that I have ever purchased a vehicle from. I would strongly suggest finding a different dealership to purchase a vehicle from.

First come first serve.Planned to come in with them, told them I got approval, had to pick up the check the following day and they ended up selling the car from under me.Absolutely scummy AND the guy laughed in our faces. DONT support this business.

Sold me a truck with a cracked frame and I didnt see it at the time because the truck was undercoated before they sold it. Truck had manifold bolts broke on both sides of engine, warped manifolds, drivers door window controls didnt work, rear entertainment didnt work. All this and they said nothing was wrong with the truck. Stay away from this place. They don't inspect vehicle before they sell them and they all have problems.

First time buyer & had a wonderful experience here. Both Tim & Kyle were very nice and outgoing people! Definitely recommend!!!Update: after a day of having my car the a/c wasn t working I went in to ask about it. I was told that I needed a new actuator & that they have ordered the new piece for me. It s been 3 months. I never pressured them cause I truly did believe they were honest & would even defend the amount of time it was taking cause I trusted them. Recently I went in because my check engine light came on & I was asked if I had token my car anywhere to get checked, answer was no cause I haven t, turns out the wrong oil is in my car. I was sold that car, FROM THEM, with the wrong oil. I forgot what else was wrong with it but they didn t fix it :|. I know they don t need to fix the car for me, cause I signed the As Is form, but they should just be direct & tell me that they aren t going to ACTUALLY fix anything for me instead of acting like they care & dragging it on. I m all about being direct & honest.

Both cars we tried had a bad smell. The more expensive, newer car needed a quick battery charge before we could drive it. The salesman on duty was good at connecting us with cars that suited us, but he was quite high-pressure in person. Afterward he called to apologize.

BEWARE I test drove four different vehicles, all which had some sort of issue. Some minor, and others not. Two of the four vehicles were on empty. These vehicles should all be ready to sell with fixes complete.Unfortunately I was needing a vehicle ASAP, and went with the one I thought drove the best, and in my price range. This happened to be one of which was on empty. I asked if they would fill the tank before leaving and they refused. Drove off the lot and had to stick $50 in gas after spending however much with them. Took vehicle in for oil change, and found out needed sub frame, and sway bar links. I argued with Ultimate Rides to help pay for repairs, and long story short they refused, and I spend another $1800 in repairs. Their motto is sold as is.First I wouldn t recommend them to anyone, second if you still want to buy a vehicle from them, have a mechanic check it out. Seller doesn t go above and beyond for customer what so ever.

It was all fine and dandy until we wanted to test drive a 3rd car. The salesman basically told us that if we weren't looking to take home a car today then we should just leave. He was nice up until we noted that we just started the car looking process. He made it seem like we were wasting his time. We had pleasant interactions with the ultimate rides in Appleton though.

Timely with answering questions and providing feedback! This is a great place to find your next vehicle.Loads of selections and located in a great area to test drive your new vehicle. Don't hesitate to call this company for your car buying needs...Thanks for your assistance, Ultimate Rides!

I had a excellent experience with Ultimate rides. No high pressure sales pitch. Kyle (who was very knowledgeable about all the cars I test drove) was very patient, kind, and professional. Tim was very upfront and honest. This place is the best kept secret in Fond du Lac! I highly recommend checking this place out. I wish they were bigger but then there would too many choices for me. Thank you Tim and especially Kyle for all your wonderful experience. I hate car shopping and this was painless.

My daughter and I went to test drive vehicles today. We test drove a Chevy Aveo that was show ready from this lot, within 50 ft from the dealership a check engine light came on, supposedly for low tires. We then asked to drive a Dodge Dart. The Dart needed a battery (again, supposedly show room ready) and we waited for 45 minutes to drive it. Upon driving the Dart, it was apparent that the front brake pads were in need of replacement. When I returned the keys, the same guys who sent us on all of the test drives asked why we weren't interested. I told him we've test driven two vehicles from his lot that were "test drive ready" and they were not safe to drive. To add to the insult, he asked if I'd be willing to purchase the Dart if they would replace the brakes!?!? Who does business like this?
