People on here need to lighten up!! no one is perfect, mistakes and things happen in all businesses, remember they are human too, and doing their best to cover and please everyone with everything!! Leaving harsh words, and poor reviews, isn't going to change or help anyone, persistence, level heads, understanding, a some compromise works wonders. I have had several projects completed with Hometown, with Zero issues, they were here this week and fixed the shock on my storm door, same day service!! Thank you Hometown!!

Jason just finished installing our new front door! He did an amazing job. He took his time and made sure that everything was fit properly and no more water damage!! Fantastic service!

My car was stuck inside the garage when the door sprung. Hometown sent one of the men over to get my car out so I could go to work. The next morning they came and put the new spring in. They did a great job. I would recommend them to everyone. Thanks, HOMETOWN for the great service.

i have done alot of business with hometown almost 10k. their a topnotch local company. got my windows patio door shower door from them and am very happy with their service, they always come out to repair stuff if needed, i recommened them for all your home improvement needs that they offer.

Unfortunately, I have had a pretty negative experience with Hometown. We ordered a window to be replaced in mid-September and they said it would be a couple weeks to come in. In early October, we called and were told it had been ordered and would arrive soon. I called last week to get a status update; she told me it would arrive any day now. The next day I got a phone call from a different person saying that they never placed the order because they forgot to label the window and they weren't sure which window was mine. I wish I could support this local business but needless to say I am very disappointed and frustrated especially now that it's getting cold and he said it would take 4-6 weeks to arrive.

Had a leak in the sealant around the window on the roof of my skid loader. Corey made quick work of removing the window, properly cleaning the area to be sealed and getting the work done quickly with another snow storm just around the corner! I appreciate the attention to detail!

Your response to Melissa Flores review of our experience with your company exposes your complete misunderstanding of the issue and disconnection to your own business. The reason the review was left was because after multiple attempts to establish a time line for the window in question being replaced and repaired, you said you would order a replacement and didnt. We waited a month trusting you had ordered it. We then received calls stating that you had lost the window because your company had forgotten to label and order the necessary components for the window back when we called to establish it would be ordered, and asked us to send pictures so you could try to find it. We gave you multiple opportunities to make it right, and worked with you every step of the way. So the fact that you would try to spin our experience with you as a critique of your company offering their services for free, is quite frankly insulting and completely false. The review is not in criticism of a free service of advice after the mistake by your company had made, but of the unnecessary hassle we faced as a result of your companies inaction and forgetfulness on our (your former customer s) behalf.

Great experience with our new garage door, from ordering to install. Found out even with 11% Menards rebate roughly same door was 200 some more with Hometown, keeping it local is worth 200 dollars imo!!!!

We have 17 windows in our home and have slowly started to replace them all. So far Hometown has done 12, one of which being a very large bay window. With that they were even able to help with a piece of glass to cover the seat so our kids and dogs wouldn t damage the wood. At this point we wouldn t go anywhere else. The staff is amazing! I can t say enough good things about how efficient and most of all kind they are. I highly recommend them and can t wait till we are able to get the last 5 done.

Fantastic company, great group of people to work with, and superior quality. I have used their services on several of my home projects. I find their staff to be fair, trustworthy, and guys like Pete and Jeff will go above and beyond to make sure they help you find exactly what you are looking for.

We recently had Hometown install 4 new windows and replace the glass in a couple other windows. We are very happy with the quality of the work and how quickly they completed the job. They were in and out in 4 hours or less! I will definitely recommend them to my friends and family and would not think twice about hiring them in the future!!

Need to watch the work they do. Windows were not insulated, when put in. Contacted owner who proclaimed they were. Upon removing inside trim, could see outside, as did not insulate. Never added weather stripping on outside either, never removed J channel or siding, Just put a lot of caulk around window to cover up. Also left debris on yard and swept debris from porch into landscaping. Purchased triple pane to help with noise reduction, but not being installed properly doesn't help. Don't recommend.

I didn t even look at any other window company when it came to replacing our 50 year old windows in our current home or the 25 year old windows in our former home. Jeff was a NO-PRESSURE salesman. Jeff and his staff are efficient, professional and very detail oriented. Best of all, they stand behind their products and labor. Why go anywhere else?

So far I ve had them install a new garage door, I ve purchased windows for the garage and installed them myself, and they have installed a windshield into my 2016 F150.They have always been on time and great with communication.They are super flexible on coming out to meet you for quotes, also like the fact they come out to you to measure instead of leaving it up to yourself.

Hometown Glass ordered and installed sliding glass reception windows for my business here in Beaver Dam. They were fast and professional and the windows work great! They were also able to give me an immediate quote so I didn't have to wait to make my decision. I will continue to use them for other projects as they are a friendly group of people as well! Very Satisfied!

Kyle got back to me within 24 hours of sending an email quote. Set up the appointment that day. Came to my work, took about an hour. Cory the installer gave me some simple instructions and even repaired a previous cover up. They made it very easy. Thank you!

My garage door opener stopped working...the bracket came right off the door... stripped the hole. I called and Hometown Glass& Improvement because my neighbor down the street has a relative working there ( I don't remember who exactly) Hunter came out after a call...easy, fast, and convenient!

This company is very deceptive. They came out to see if they could repair our garage door garage coil. After repairing and receiving the bill, they charged $80.00 to come out and look at it, another $80.00 to come back the next day to repair it and than another $80.00 for the half hour to fix it. Now if they had disclosed those fees I wouldnt be upset but they said nothing about these addition charges for travel....very unprofessional. When I called about getting a bill 3 times what I expected she said, "I will have to talk to.....and make sure he discloses these hidden fees." I'm sure they've had these complaints before. Beware of charges they dont tell you about. And after fixing the door my husband found screws on the garage floor....I am glad the car tires didnt pick em up.....find someone else to do the job.
