Helpful friendly service. We stayed in one of the shipping container "cabins" (last minute plans, and we didn't really have a budget saved for the trip). The room was clean and comfy, and well heated despite the below freezing temps outside (which is good, as I hadn't brough sub-20 degree sleeping bags).The ATV we rented was an absolute blast. This was our first time doing something like this, and this was a great place to get started. Rick did a great job of explaining the trails to us, reassured us that it would all go fine (as long as we didn't try to do donuts) and that we wouldn't get lost. His recommendation of heading into Bramwell worked out pretty good.Expect significant fees and taxes, and then trail pass, gas, insurance, and other small items to add up. Not something we blame on the resort, but something you should expect before going. It was about 30% of our final costs.Wish it would have been warmer out so we could have enjoyed the stars more, but that's not something the resort could have done anything about. Next time we'll come back when it's going to be warmer out. (There will be a next time.)

Stayed in the wolf cabin for a family member's birthday. There were 7 of us and we fit very comfortably. The view was amazing! Close to the trails for ATV/UTV.

Recently stayed at WV ATV Resort. When we arrived our unit had not been cleaned. The house keeper had called out sick. The misses... was not to happy after a 9hr drive from the coast. Well, the part owner Josh immediately took care of the situation. He put us up in Bear cabin. WOW!!! What a awesome view of the mountains. Not to mention the staff there are top notch, they go over and beyond to make your stay the best. This is a great Resort, gas, ice parts and mechanics on site to get you up and running to get back on the trails.Thanks Josh and wonderful staff for making our experience fantastic!

This place never disappoints us. The views are the best. The staff is amazing. Rick the owner is always there to assist with any questions. We love it there and we go 2 x a year and each time is perfect.

The resort has a great location on a mountain that s close to the trails; hence, the views out of the cabins are soo beautiful The employees are very knowledgeable and can set you up with an ATV rental, if needed, and explain everything you need to know about the machines and the trails.

We stay at Black Dog and typically buy all our gas and supplies here. Friendly staff and great service. This weekend we busted 2 tires and they had us up and going and saved the weekend. Great mechanics and great people. Highly recommend!

Directly on the Hatfield-McCoy trails with a full mechanic shop and some gear/parts available, nice lodging with great views, with spots for food and beer that you quickly navigate on-road or off-road to ,and sxs rental options for when your KTM feels too superior.What more can you ask for?Check out the photos and tell Rick I need a discount for my next trip down.

I had a near disaster with my quad , and this place stocks lots of parts for Canams and other brands - axles , ball joints tires and mechanics on site . What a pleasant surprise this place is . I found them by accident lol , but this place is beautiful with pristine Modern Cabin rentals and it sits 3000 feet on top of a beautiful Ridge line looking at nothing but beautiful mountains. They are on the Pinnacle and Indian trail systems . This is the Nicest place I ve been to in West Virginia. I will be staying here from now on until I no longer can ride . My oil drain plug came out of my Canam quad and they had one for me and saved my trip . Trust me nobody keeps these items in stock .

Absolutely wonderful experience. From the first call to book, Rick has been helpful and made us feel at home even over the phone. We arrived late due to the amazing traffic around Charlotte and there was Rick, waiting patiently to show us to our cabins, even taking the time to explain the AC controls and show the boys the password for the Wi-Fi. Rick allowed us to complete the "paperwork" in the morning, since it was already late. Early the next morning we were up and excited to meet our very knowledgeable and caring guides. Jamie and Jessica, wow, thank-you for taking your time with us to explain everything in complete detail. Jamie took his time during the day to slowly build confidence in my driving skills and by the end of the day I was an astute UTV driver. They took us to a great little hideaway for lunch "Bramwell Corner Stop". 2nd day we were on our own to see the trails. Jamie and Rick both gave great suggestions for a route and even gave me their personal cells if we ran into trouble. Luckily the previous day experience under Jamie's tutelage payed off and we survived own our on.I can not say enough about the deep care and compassion WV ATV owner and staff displayed to my family. You will not be able to rent an ATV or stay anywhere nicer than here for the Hatfield and McCoy trail system.PS if you stay SUN-THURS there is a nice discount since most people want the weekend.

The perfect place to stay when riding Hatfield-McCoy. The cabins are beautiful, and Rick has non-ethanol fuel, a pressure washer, and a full shop. He really went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed, and was happy to give us advice on where to ride and eat. We'll be back in the spring.

Rick and all staff at WV ATV resort and rentals get a 5star rating! These guys went above and beyond to get my family accommodated with a clean and comfortable cabin. People that run the place keep it clean and the utv rentals are well taken care of! This place is amazing!! Thank you guys for the opportunity and the experience!!!!

thanks WV ATV RENTALS for saving our trip and the awesome experience we had OUR FAMILY WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND WV ATVBEWARE OUR FAMILY BOOKED WITH BLUEWELL ATV ONLINE AND WAS CHARGED $2500 FOR DEPOSIT AND RENTAL WHEN WE SHOWED UP TO PICK UP OUR RENTAL THEY WERE NOT OPEN WE CALLED THEIR NUMBER MULTIPLE TIMES AND GOT NO ANSWER. IT HAS BEEN OVER 3 WEEKS AND STILL HAVENT RECEIVED OUR MONEY BACK

I recently had the opportunity to visit the WV ATV Resort and had a fantastic experience renting an ATV machine and lodging on the premises. The staff at the resort were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing thorough instructions on how to operate the ATV machine safely. The rental process was quick and hassle-free, with the machines being in excellent condition and ready for an exciting off-roading adventure.

My husband and I had the best time here!! We stayed in the king size container cabin, which was a cozy, no fuss setup. The bathhouses were great and the ATV rental process was smooth. We highly recommend this place for renting ATVs and/or a cabin! Would come back, for sure!

Drove two Mavericks today in the rain and overcast skies. Momma can't tell us no more to not play in the puddles or mud. Practically had the trails to ourselves. Only had to pay extra for a couple of replacement parts at cost for damage received from being out all day. Highly recommend going in the rain, if mud and water is your thing!

Highlight of my trip was the customer service Hannah was very nice n helpful. I was lucking to drive one of the new side by sides they just brought me and my son enjoyed every minute of this trip. I received my deposit back without any problems. I d like to thank Rick and his staff for helping me create memories wit my son.Ps. I drove 8 hrs just to come to this place because of the customer service every place I called was not only more expensive but they just couldn t compare to the niceness and professionalism.
