Probably the best euro mechanic in the area. Fantastic work, speedy scheduling, and really knowledgeable. I recommend these guys anytime someone is driving a European car and is looking for a mechanic. Absolutely go to these guys for anything from an oil change to a new engine.

Our experience with GPA has been hands down the best experience I ve ever had with a mechanic shop. Ryan was super knowledgeable about our BMW and found and fixed a major issue that could have blown the engine if not taken care of. He also found a hidden recall and saved us several thousand dollars by sending it to BMW to take care of that. We had to bring the car back in for something else and again he took great care of our car and cleaned and replaced things that even previous BMW dealerships where it had been serviced did not do well. The value for his work is incredible. GPA has some customers for life. Highly recommend to anyone needed a knowledgeable mechanic but especially for BMW owners.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Oil change

Both Brian and Ryan were a pleasure to deal with. I called with a few questions regarding my BMW and they were honest and professional and able to get me an appointment within 24hrs. All repairs were completed by the end of the day. They also called me throughout the day with updates on repairs/costs, which I appreciated. Rates were very reasonable, especially compared to Wash, DC prices. Will definitely be trusting them again in the future with both of our BMWs.

German Precision Auto is one of the beat places I've taken my BMW to yet. I had them replace my charge pipe and intercooler on my 435i and the service was done quicker than expected! Everything looked like it was done professionally and with no flaws. This is the best shop around for German cars and one you can trust from real enthusiasts. Had to get an oil leak fixed in my 2011 BMW 328i. Ryan was fantastic at German Precision Auto. They quickly diagnosed the issues and also informed me of a Silent recall that was available for one of the cars issues. The numerous instances that they went above and beyond are too long to include in the review, but in the end, they saved me time, energy, and most importantly, money to get my vehicle safely on the road.As anyone with a German car knows, not everyone knows how to work on them. Ryan and his crew were both knowledgeable and proficient in handling the repairs and identifying the issues with my vehicle. This was my first visit to GP Auto. I was worried about my 330 e BMW getting local care. But Ryan and Bryan were excellent. They kept us informed about the progress they were making. I was so relieved when they made all the repairs without having to drive hours away to a dealership! Brian does amazing work - at a very fair price on my BMW. No only is he incredibly talented and capable as a mechanic; he s also one of the nicest guys you ll ever meet! Having such quality service so conveniently located - and with someone you can really trust - gives me great peace of mind when it comes to taking care of my (awesome) car.

I love going in here for work or upgrades. Rusty has always been quick and executes excellent communication. One day I cracked the oil pan on my Audi, two days after I called to ask if they could order the part, he had it fixed. They also did an excellent job at making my VW triple the fun and at a reasonable price. I have no reason to go anywhere else. . .And it is cool to say your mechanics name is Rusty! Friendly team, great shop.

Went to them to get a service due indication checked on My Audi Q , talked briefly with Brian and he graciously stepped outside with his code reader. No codes came up and he stated it most likely was just an Audi service interval indication from the factory after a certain amount of miles. I had informed him that the vehicle was running well and nothing seemed to indicate anything was wrong which made me ecstatic. Will most definitely return when needed as they seem to be the only business in the area that seem to belong under the hood of German vehicles. Highly disappointed and dissatisfied with the service and professionalism! I hired this man based on reviews and recommendations. I brought my 745 to his shop because I needed to find out why my engine light was coming on so I could pass my inspection as I just replace my windshield and tires. The work done apparently wasn t the problem as when I picked up and paid for the services completed my engine light came on as soon as I drove off the yard. I can not even validate why I spent $1297 for repairs as the repair order still has not been provided a week after I ve paid. This man let me leave unsatisfied and in the same situation I was in when I first came, three weeks ago. It should be noted that now my clock/navigation/radio basically my computer in the car hasn t work since I ve been back in possession of my car. I was told after a few starts it should be fine since the battery was disconnected. But that he d do some checking in on it and get back with me. (Still hasn t happened) My car is currently at an actual BMW dealer to diagnose what I asked him to do in the beginning. My experience was not what I expected and it definitely needs to be made public for others to see. Good luck to anyone else.

We were 8 hours from home and he 7 hours left to go on our car ride when our check engine light came on. With 4 kids in the car, we panicked. We did a quick Google search for the closest mechanic and German Precision Auto popped up. We pulled in and the sweet, young man was more than willing to help. This auto shop is the biggest blessing we have ever come across. Thank you so much, German Precision Auto! Had the car for almost 2 months. Waiting on parts. Took it in for a miss at idle. Spent 4300 to rebuild front end. Got car back still had the miss and was told the valve cover needed to be replaced. They said they would give me credit. I did the job myself. In the almost 2 months they only contacted me or my wife twice. The car did not get finished until I stopped by. At the end of the day one of our friends told us it was a good place. So we went there. This is just our experience.

Lower timing chain prime bolt8. Oil change9. Valve cover gasket10. Courtesy checkThe week after Christmas my 2012 Mini Cooper S suffered clutch failure. I had reached out to a few European specialty shops in the area to try and get the car in to be serviced. A few shops had a month plus wait, German Precision Auto was highly recommend to me by a friend with a 5 series. When I contacted GPA they told me bring it in we will get on it ASAP. The car would not start so I towed it to them, when I arrived, I quickly noticed the amount of high end German cars in the lot. One of the GPA employees was kind enough to help me unload my Mini Cooper.A day or so after dropping the car off they called me to tell me my slave cylinder and clutch master cylinder were both leaking, they would like to start with those parts before dropping the transmission in hopes the clutch was still fine. After getting these parts installed and hearing the car run the staff at GPA felt confident that clutch was shot.At this point I realized I did not have the financials to have the car fixed right away. I informed Brian (the owner of GPA) and he was more than accommodating, I offered to come tow the car away till I was finically prepared to have the work done, he assured me it was fine with him to keep the car at his facility.After a few weeks passed and I put together the funds. The staff at GPA took their time to talk to me about my goals with a new clutch kit. After a understanding of the abuse my Mini Cooper takes we agreed the Clutch Masters stage 1 kit was best suited for my needs. With the repairs planned I thought it would be best to do some preventive maintenance to the car while the crew at GPA had the Mini. So we talked about the infamous timing chain guides and decided best to go ahead and replace them.Once the staff at GPA worked the Mini into their full schedule for a second time, the customer service was unmatched. Every step of the way they were sending pictures of items they found that needed repaired, or sending me pictures of parts we knew needed replaced. I am a stickler for customer service and I was floored at the customer service I received from this shop!!Once the Mini was completed and ready to be picked up. When I arrived Brian and his staff were more than happy to show me the carnage from the Mini in person, even walking me though step by step what they suspected caused the failure. I picked the car up and in six days I ve put about six hundred miles on it with out a single issue! I highly recommend this shop to any German car owner looking for a trust worthy shop with competitive pricing!

Ryan at German Precision Auto Group is the guy to see when it comes to German market vehicles. His knowledge and professionalism is top notch. He doesn t try to oversell the work needed and is a very honest technician. If you are in the area this is the place to take your BMW. Highly recommend.

I m very picky when I choose a mechanic to service and maintain my vehicles. I was completely comfortable from the minute I walked in the door at German Precision! The professionalism, obvious knowledge about my BMW, and a busy clean shop won my business! Wow. What a lifesaver! Truly amazing! This is worth the read. Trust me. My fianc� and I were driving from New York to Tennessee to visit family (about a 14 hour drive) and after crossing the West Virginia border, we suddenly hit a massive pothole on a major highway, which completely blew out one of the front tires. This was a scary moment, but thankfully I have run-flat tires and was able to drive into the nearest town in search of a mechanic. I own a BMW with low profile tires which can be hard to find, so I searched Google and quickly saw German Precision Auto, so I crossed my fingers and decided to give them a shot, hoping they deal with BMWs regularly.Upon arriving, Ryan and another colleague came right out of the garage to assess the damage to the tire. After spending the next 30 minutes or so on the phone with over 20 tire shops in the area, Ryan was able to find an exact match for my low profile, run-flat tire that could be delivered and installed same day. This was a huge deal since we were in an unfamiliar area and felt our plans could be in jeopardy. We were traveling with my dog, so we couldn t Uber into town to pass the next few hours waiting for the tire to arrive, so Ryan actually let us borrow his personal vehicle to go get something to eat and pass the time. I ve never seen anything like this before.Within 3 hours of arriving at German Precision Auto, our tire was ordered, delivered, and installed and we were back on the road! Truly a lifesaver! Thank you so much guys! We are truly grateful for you and now have an amazing story to tell!

Ryan is a fantastic Euro Technician. The team at GP Auto performed numerous performance upgrades to 14 Audi S5. The shop installed a Stage 3 performance clutch/flywheel assemble, added a performance heat exchanger/coolant system, performance brakes, pulley upgrades to the Supercharger and helped with customizing a performance exhaust. Great Work!

Brian and Craig were absolutely fantastic! We were on our way to drop my daughter off at college when we hit something in the road that caused the car to start smoking. We were told to call Brian and Craig at GP Auto. They were fast, courteous and Craig even had jokes!I can t thank them enough for helping us get safely back on the road !!

Very knowledgeable and detailed oriented. You can trust them with your baby. They go beyond what others do - Brian fixed a few items at no charge! They just like working on imports. Best import mechanics in tri-state area.
