If this is how they work on your car I'd avoid them with a passion at this point. My car was bounced between Dan canva and chenoweth body shop repeatedly putting it off or straight ignored. Between the 2 shops they have had my car more than I have. That should tell you where this is going.After a year without my vehicle I just got it back for the second time and it's still not completed correctly. Dan cava never never put it on diagnostics as far as I can tell. all the codes from the wreck are still there, and some new ones are now too. If putting the car on diagnostics machines clears codes...then someone has been lying to me. The car still says the driver assistance is jacked up and they sent this out claiming this is completed work?!I tried reaching out to see if there was something that could have been done to correct it and the shoddy repair work. Basically to remediate the remaining problems and dan canva has yet to respond or acknowledge the request. However they did send a lovely automated email review request and expected I review the work repeatedly several times. Over several days, of which I had yet to get the car back.so I did both their automated email request and this here except here it's a lot shorter.Seriously before you take your vehicle to either shop look elsewhere save yourself the headaches.

Everyone at the Dan Cava service dept was friendly, helpful and competent. They always do a great job and in a timely fashion. I appreciate that they have a waiting area with vending machines.

Very disappointed this visit. Communication was desparately lacking. I'm an hour away so worked out a ride to leave my car off for the check engine light and 2 minor issues. Had the receipt for installation of a charcoal canister Toyota brand part with suspicious codes. Tech said info not needed. No one called back. I called and left messages finally got a call back Tuesday and they couldnt answer questions will call back. This went back and forth with numerous calls and no one returning callsCalled the service manager and complained and still the communications were lacking. Thee reply was I have customers to take care. Made me feel like 2 cents. Am I not a customer? I wanted to scream. This went on for 2 1/2 weeks. After 3 weeks they state "I was waiting for your call to see what you wanted us to do" finally my car was done. The charcoal canister was replaced under the warranty but not without a lot of miscommunication and frustration. I called to say the earliest day I could pick it up was Saturday. I got there 12:45 PM. The service department was closed. My ride had left. The only good thing thst happened was the clerk in the Parts Department came to my rescue. He said they finished uo early in the service department and they all went home. He helped me out locating the work order and my keys took down my crefit card info and sent me on my way. Once again when I left the message about picking up my car on Saturday no one bothered to return my call to say the Saturday hours changed and what time I should be there. This is a short version of my visit to this service center. My dsughter even called the service manager and the 800 # to complain to no avail. Needless to say I will never go to this Toyota service center again. I have been a customer for years and their records proved it. So my warning is be cautious in dealing with them. There are other Toyota service centers to deal with and I will be chosing someone who respects me.
