My alternator gave out on I-64 when I was halfway to a family get together this summer. It was late in afternoon and everybody I called said they wouldn't help me anymore that day. After a numerous attempts, somebody finally gave me the number for Dave's Tires and said to try them. He first told he was booked full with close to a dozen other waiting for an opening, and even tried to call a few people he knew to try to find someone else to help, but with no avail. So when he heard I was traveling alone and still hours from my destination, he told me to find someone to tow me over (used Bob's towing and he was also great!) and he'd help me out. These guys were heaven-sent! As a women traveling alone, stranded in WV mountains, I didn't know what I was getting myself into, but they were exactly what I asked God for. They were friendly, helpful, respectful and more then generous with their time, resources, and billing. Not only did they get me back on the road that day, I felt safe, even protected, the entire time I was at their shop, and paid much less then I should've for a normal fix, let alone an emergency fix in the middle of an already over-booked day. I can't promote their services enough! Locals, you're blessed to have these guys! Travelers, if you need help, this is the place you want to call - don't bother with any of the others!

I've never had any issues with Dave's tire. Past or present the owner is very respectful percise and persistent. Knowledgeable trust worthy n down to earth.very reasonable. . And so much more.. work is top notch as well as service they go above n beyond their means to make sure you get what u need and are satisfied n safe. I trust them with my car n mine n my kids love feel n safety.. regularly.. Dave's tire has surpassed my expectations earned my respect trust and business.. I couldn't afford my car n the maintenance if wasn't for Dave's Tire.. you won't be disappointed.. nit a high class expensive garage.. just good down to earth.. hard working takes pride in their work n enjoy it. I recommend Dave's Tire.. to all..!!

Jeremy is the best! I have used this shop for three years now and I recommend this shop to everyone. This is a single bay garage so it can take a little longer, but as the saying goes, good things come with time. I have had fancy delicate rims with race tires, ATV tires, and stock rims with studded winter tires put on here, and at no point were there any issues, balanced perfect every time. Jeremy is very patient and seems to live by the motto haste makes waste. Truthfully my opinion is that his prices are a little low. For what he has done for me and others I know he should be paid double. He really gives back to the community. I can't say enough about this shop!

We had a flat and needed immediate help. Our jack broke and we were stranded still needing to get our baby from daycare. We knew we needed one tire but it was another that busted on us. He didn't have any used tires like I had asked so gave us a heck of a deal on two new. Then drove out changed the one flat that had us stranded then changed the other when we got our car to the shop. Great people. Stayed late for us. God bless you Jeremy and crew!

We were traveling on the turnpike from South Carolina to Ohio when we had tire trouble. We googled tire shops in Charleston and the big names came up first-Firestone, Sears, Walmart-ALL of them turned us down or said it would take 3 hours to get in... We tried Dave's, and Jeremy was awesome!! He said he'd get us in right away. He fixed our tire immediately! BEST SERVICE EVER! (Jeremy even refused a tip & just charged us $10.)

We had a blow out on 64. He got us fixed up and on the road in no time. He was very friendly, worked hard, and had fair prices. It is cash or check (no plastic).

Honestly a scam. The guy sold me the wrong sized tire that was dry rotted for 30 bucks. Then he charged me to ballance it and his balancer had stuff piled all around it. He said he put balancing beads in it to justify charging me extra. Tire is way out of ballance if you havnt guessed and before he did mine i watched him put 4 bran new ones on for an elderly man and never balanced a single one of them or add any beads. At first i thought the old man was being cheap then i realised he was getting scammed like me. Do not use this guy.

Dave's changed my flat tire in less than 15 minutes and was the only place open nearby on a Saturday afternoon. Good cash discount, friendly guys.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This man sold my 18 year old son 2 used tires, not 1 week later one of the tires went completely flat. After looking at the tire it had already been plugged once and was paper thin on the inside of the tire. We have been trying to message and call this tire place for several days and no answer, had to resort to actually going to the tire place and leave a note on the door asking someone to call us.

Dave is NOT out of business! There was problem/falling out with the phone company so he disconnected it. Idk if he has got a new number yet or not, but he is DEFINITELY STILL IN BUSINESS!
