I have been coming to this location for the last 3 years and everyone is always so kind and helpful, fast service in and out.Today, however, was on another level, I got to work with Ken and his amazing team! (Make no mistake, Ken did not want his name mentioned in this Review he wanted all the Credit to go to his team.) They went over every square inch of my car and suggested helpful items to add and how to improve the performance of my car.Impeccable customer service and patient explanation at every turn. Go to this location, you will be so happy that you did!

These guys were amazing. I made the horrible mistake of going to jiffy lube in Fife and they had my car leaking oil. Took it to Valvoline in Sumner and the Manager and worker guys fixed the issue from Jiffy Lube and went above and beyond in every way. I will never go any where else again!! Thank you Sumner Team!!

Said my battery needed to be changed and offered to sell me a new one but couldn't tell me what their readings meant on their testing equipment. Don't tell people something if you know nothing. They changed my oil, but I wouldn't recommend going here if they don't understand the basics of their job.

Overpriced compared to any other oil change service providers, however, I would use them again if I want to save time. In and out in 10 minutes only!

Got my oil changed and radiator flushed and fluid replaced . I like the way you stay in the car while your car is serviced. My attendant was Eric and he was a nice guy and did a great job.

I went in to get my oil changed for the first time at this company. They didn t look into my car or ask me any questions about my oil or car.They gave me the wrong oil and when I contacted of their manager Ken, he had no costumer service skills and was rude, didn t want to help me with my issue, and expected me to pay again to get it fixed. My first time ever going to a drive up oil change service!!!! I was very leary of doing so since I have heard so many horror stories. I either change my own oil since I was 16 years old or I go to the dealer. I know what to watch for and the scams to listen for since they have been tried on me before. Overall, I was satisfied with the service from Valvoline in Sumner, Wa. They asked me if my wipers were good which i knew they were as I just put them on. They topped off my wiper fluid, they told me it requires 4.5 qts of oil...which I knew was correct. They asked if I wanted any other services and then went over the oil types with me. I already knew what I needed so I just listened for accuracy. They even have two cameras running right next to your car window so you can see the work being completed above ground and underneath the car. I made sure the guy in the pit drained the oil and replaced the oil filter as I watched closely. He did! The cameras made me feel better and a lot less skeptical. When done, I watched the technician above ground, check the oil twice, and then bring the dipstick over to show me it was at the "full" line. That really was assuring for me as I am the #1 sceptic of these types of businesses. So, why did I finally go? I researched and read all the reviews and found both good and bad and saw mostly good reviews. And, I really needed to go since my wife told me 200 miles late that the mileage sticker says its overdue for an oil change. Also, I had to try it as I wasn't going to wait for Hyundai again as they have a 6 week lead time for the times I am available which is 2 pm or later during the week..... I took the leap and tried out Valvoline and was happy! I am posting because I think a detailed honest post is also hard to find now days when dealing with businesses. In the end, I paid $67 taxes included and I had a $15 off coupon from them when I called the day before. It arrived in my text message yesterday right after my phone call. I see they have $5 to $10 coupons available on line most of the time. No one ever posts how much the service costs so I am including that. By the way, my Huyndai dealer was $62 out the door earlier this year so it could be higher now with the increased inflation in 2022. I thought it was an OK price at Valvoline but not great. I thought it would be lower. The coupons help a little bit so don't pay full price if they have readily available coupons. I hope this post helps others and gives some kudos to the team working today on 9/14/22 around 2 pm. I forgot their names but they all had a name on their shirt...

This team is out there working in the heat and bringing that customer service !! Laura was absolutely wonderful to talk with and made me laugh! Who even gets real with customers these days? Laura does and I appreciate her, such a wonderful experience at Valvoline, once again. Thank you Valvoline for keeping great staff like Laura on your team! For a fast oil change they did great. To get the oil change started? It took about an hour because the line was backed up in both bays. That isn't a dig on how long they take because I believe they were turning out oil changes in about 15 minutes each car. I simply point that out to show that they seem to get a fair amount of business so if you are in a rush, the 15 minutes you are going to wait for your own oil change might look more like 30 minutes to an hour or more. They did do very thorough work though and were very nice.

had my oil changed there a few months ago.I just went to change the oil filter myself and discovered that the tech must have put the cap on with an impact wrench with all the duggas, and probably a few uggas too.I could not get the cap loose. After using a cheater bar on my wrench, I succeeded in only breaking my wrench.I've since ordered a new cap, since I don't trust this one anymore, and a new solid steel wrench that will hopefully survive my attempts to remove this cap.The cap is only supposed to be tightened to 20ft-lbs--NOT 500!Service: Oil change

I've been going here for years. Unfortunately, under current management their service has gone downhill terribly. They used to be really good at checking headlights, tire pressure and all sorts of other things every time you came in, but now they're just in a rush to get through things and can be down right rude sometimes. One of those employees was so incompetent today that I had to remind him multiple times to do the same thing. They've lost a long-term customer. I will not be going back.

The service was quick as always! Everyone was super friendly and honestly my visit her made my day better because of it. I would definitely recommend. I also felt like the staff was very honest about what my vehicle needed at this time. I m new to the area but I ll definitely be coming back to this location whenever my car needs an oil change or other service they offer!Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Oil change

Got to the business right as they opened and was the second car in line. Waited for roughly an hour before the car ahead of me was finished. They pulled me into the bay and asked what service I was looking to have done. I asked for a transmission flush and was then told that I was the third transmission flush in a row and that they need to get some oil changes done so they told me to get pull out and let a few other vehicles through that were behind me and to get back in line. I left instead of waiting another hour or more to let the vehicles that got there after me get their services done. As far as I recall, this business is a first come first serve basis. Don t recommend and will not be back.

They would not provide pricing up front, they would not honor their coupons as "conventional" loosely means 4 - 5 quarts of oil in a car made pre 2018's, they pulled my drain plug instead of using the oil extractor stating it was "broken" without informing me first, they told me I "had" to use synthetic oil rather than telling me it was highly recommended, then following up by stating they wouldn't guarantee it if I chose otherwise(which i get). Between that and the lack of knowledge and customer service, I made a poor choice in going to this establishment that I will never repeat again.

This place is the absolute BEST! Professional and fun crew that provide great service (with no pressure to get all their services) and a personable feel. Customer service at most places these days is just not up to par...but that's NOT the case here!

Disappointed in the service and wait time. Definitely sticking to Renton location.Waited almost 2 hours for a simple oil change! In the beginning, both lanes had equal amount of cars lined up and it was guided by a worker. As time goes by, I notice the second lane moving faster AND 2 more cars finished before I did, yet I arrived before them.Employees did not acknowledge nor apologize. They were busy socializing and eating in front of the bay. This was also during a hot weekend with extreme smoke, so you can only imagine the experience. Plus, they skipped steps that I'm typically familiar with Valvoline- air filter check, washer fluid top off, or light checks.Service: Oil change

Great experience. Friendly staff/ quick and efficient oil change and radiator flush.I feel the need to add thatthe workers work hard and try their best to do the best but when working in 90+degree weather it's difficult to keep a clear, efficient, and pleasant attitude especially when wearing black clothing as the sun beats down on you my question is; could the workers be able to wear lighter clothing during summer months so they can perform, at their best and minimizing a potential heat exhaustion issue? I'm certain there would be fewer mistakes made due to over heating ( not inclusive to vehicles only )

Fast friendly service. Answered the questions I had, and any up-sells wasn t high pressure. I went ahead and brought my other vehicle by within a week. Check their website for deals. Good percentage off for military/VA and emergency services personnel.

Got my oil changed here recently. I always get full synthetic, that what my car takes. They said I was only going to get 3k instead of the normal 5k... umm that's odd. Now after only 2k my light is already on and I already need another oil change. What a waste of money!!!Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

My wife went in to get an oil change. She then came home and told me they had spilled oil and didn't even tell her. The engine was smoking alot because of all the oil that was spilled. I called them back and asked for the manager. He said i heard about it but he wasn't there. He gave me half off the next oil change but i don't think that suffice for what happened. I had to go get it professionally cleaned. I won't be back there. Train your employees on how to fix this and access the situation properly
