Our experience was great. Usually it's very frustrating working with dealerships. I was surprised at the professionalism, excellent communication, and the way Christine handle our particular situation. The mechanics diagnosed the problem quickly and she got work negotiating with the manufacturer to get our vehicle repaired and back on the road all under manufacturer warranty. You have definitely earned my future business!Thank you

One of the best experiences I have had getting my oil changed at a dealership in a while. It was my first time to Sunset and I was very happy with how I was treated. Got checked in right away and my truck was taken care of quickly. I would defiantly recommend. I will be back for the next Oil Change and if I am looking for a new vehicle in the future, I will start here first.

The time there was great, plenty of knowledgeable people to talk to you about vehicles. However this is the third time in a row that I've come in for my scheduled oil change and ask them not to fill up my windshield washer fluid reservoir. And they did anyways. Do you know how long it takes to empty that reservoir so I can put the correct windshield washer fluid into it? Frustrating but still good quality service other than that.

Though the service was great and the staff were both professional, friendly and made you feel important, I find that it would be had to recommend your dealership. You see, three time I recommended your dealership to others who bought vehicles from your Ford dealership as not once was a referral fee ever sent awarded despite them buying from you. This I mentioned several times to the my sales person who passed on that information, yet nothing was received and/or did any one give further inquiry.

Dave Goeke was amazing, I'd say go through him when you buy. He was understanding and helpful. Knew everything about the vehicle I purchased. Worked with me in regards to where I wanted to be with my financing too. He worked with me, not against me. Didn't try to pull a fast one, or even have me pay way over than I should. His customer service was exceptional. It can take some time to buy a vehicle and it was a great experience. I was also very decisive in everything that I wanted and wasn't willing to budge. He listened and we made it happen and bought our truck. Myself and my family have bought through Sunset Chevy in Sumner for decades. We highly recommend them. Made our appointment to get the oil changed said to expect 1 hr turn around so came prepared to sit and read while I waited, no sooner had I got settled and begun to really get into my reading than they came to tell me it was done only about 30 minutes in all what a surprise. The man said that they were on a roll. I just love them always so pleasant and I've now been with them through 2 cars and my husband's truck not going anywhere else.

You guys always do a wonderful job when we send our technician in to get an oil change. Anytime there is more work to be done you call us immediately in the office for approval. We really appreciate being able to make a payment over the phone as well. We schedule our appointments online and it is very easy and we haven't had any problems with long wait times on the day of our appointment. Keep up the great work everyone!

we were preparing for a long trip moving out of state when the check engine light came on on our tow vehicle. The service department was able to push us to the front of the line understanding our time frame needs. the problem was diagnosed and repaired in the same day. Jake was able to put 2 technicians on the truck to expedite the repairs and get us on our way. Thanks again to all that made this happen.

I came to you to have the oil changed and the tires rotated. The man I chatted with was very friendly and very motivated to do the right job. He made me feel comfortable and talk to me for a while and did a very good job. I will be back to have my Chevy crews take care of. And I would recommend your dealerships to anyone who asked me.

My vehicle broke down and I had to have it towed in for service. On arrival the service staff were all very friendly and inviting and I was able to get my vehicle checked in immediately. I was eligible for a loaner car and was able to continue to have transportation while the vehicle was being repaired. This was on a Saturday. By Monday they called to say that had found the problem and it was ready for pick up. When I was ready to take my vehicle I found that the problem had not been repaired. So they had to take it back in and I wasted a trip going there to tell them what I think they should've been able to figure out on their own. The problem was a major repair, having had a rare failure that took another week and a half to get the part and get it running again. But not with several other trial and errors. All in all I'm pleased because a) it was all covered under warranty except for a software update that I was charged for, which seems very odd because any software update I've ever had is free, and b) I have my vehicle back and in good working order. But I think there are some steps missing through the entire process. It's difficult to get any communication or in contact with anyone to know what the status is at any given time. And on the first day I couldn't reach anyone by phone. Communications and Customer Service are vital in any business and it seems these could be improved on.

Took my car in because I had developed a severe oil leak, while checking in I asked the service advisor if they offered loaners on the chance the car wouldn t be fixed same day. He let me know that they don t have loaner vehicles but work with enterprise rentals so he could get me set up with a rental if needed. A few hours later they let me know the problem with my car and that it won t be done until the following day. I said that s fine I will just need something to get to work, we arranged for me to pick up a rental at 2pm. I arrived about 15 mins early and waited, and waited... at 240 I asked where my vehicle was and they said the rental company was understaffed and running behind but should be here soon. At 255 enterprise shows up and starts taking me to the rental, but stops and asks if I am paying or the dealership. I told the rep I assumed the dealer was as I was never told that I would be responsible for any charges. We go in and talk to the service advisor and explain that no cost was ever mentioned and that when I asked about loaners his response was that they work enterprise and could could me a vehicle. He talks to his manager and comes back out and informs me that since the repair is not a warranty item they don t cover the cost of the rental. I have now waited for an hour for to get a rental that all of the sudden I am paying for with no prior notice.This is not how you do business, had I been told about the charge prior it would have been fine. To drop that on the customer when you dropped the ball and didn t give all the information isn t the customers fault. I have purchased 4 vehicles from sunset because of how they had treated me over the past years. With the complete lack of customer service I received on this visit the have ensured there will be no future purchases from me, and I will make sure to let any friends and family know they are better off going elsewhere

Communication with the service people about updates on my vehicle was as I was bothering them and pulling teeth to get any information or time frame on when my vehicle would be completed. Same thing happened when I came to pickup the vehicle. I was informed it would be ready at 4pm got there at 410 and was told to sit in the wait room. When asking time he said 10 minutes. Took until 450pm before I got my vehicle. I dropped it off at 0800. I spent $860 to be treated like I was a burden is ridiculous.

I had my oil changed. I was a bit early for my appointment but they took me right in. It was a great experience for my very first visit for service! The time frame they gave me when I made the appointment was almost to the minute. Very happy with Sunset Chevrolet!

Dad brought it in for me for a couple recalls and truck was in and out in about 2 hours and parked out of shop. My Dad seen truck moved out of shop at 11:15 and went and asked service desk if it was done, and he was told "they probably have more to do, because desk didn't have paperwork yet" (desk clerk didn't even go ask or check to see if it was done), but truck didn't move until 1:30 when he was called that it was ready for him to pick up. kind of surprised because service is usually pretty good......

This service department was incredible! Jake went above and beyond to fix the problems with my car - he was amazing! I would not hesitate to bring my car in for repairs to Sunset Chevrolet in Sumner along with staying a loyal customer. GREAT customer service from Jake and Brandon! Way to go!

Service was done as expected. Christine was awesome. I was a little disappointed in the amount of time it took (a little over 7 hours) but rather it be long and correct than fast and shabby. My truck was not washed, not sure if that is something they're supposed to do or if I just have them confused with Bellevue Cadillac & Chevrolet where they was and vacuum my car at every service.

The service dept. is always great!Went in for our routine oil change. Due to covid, customers had to sit on sales side, under a covered area. It wasn t bad, a little chilly but I am happy they are still open to service vehicles.I didn t have much interaction with the staff. I was checked in & out by 2 different people.They were very friendly.A new gal (I believe, she s new) named Grace really stood out. She was the sweetest when checking me out & had such a kind demeanor.Thank you Sunset & stay safe!!

Techs were informed of the issue I am experiencing. They had my vehicle for several hours to diagnose. Towards the end of the day I had attempted several times to get an update, and when one finally came they claimed they could not replicate my concern. The issue is still ongoing. I was informed to just schedule another appointment, and at least my vehicle is still under warranty. My drive to this dealer is over an hour from my residence. I don't have a pool of spare vehicles or time to keep bringing it in.

In the past I would recommend you guys in a minute but the last two times the experience with service has not been very good and my recent trip I waited almost 20 minutes for my vehicle and when I went back in to ask it was noted that no one had even went to retrieve it. What happen to Sunset service? Did you change managers? Your counter people are not very friendly they seem very over worked and tired all the time? What did you change? A smiling face was always what I looked forward to when going to Sunset but over the last few years that has faded to a frown or blank face. I know we are in the end of our government shutdown for covid but you guys need to work toward being the place you were in the past. Honestly if I had to buy a vehicle today I would not be coming back to you.I hope you took the time to read this far because they have redeemed themselves a hundred times over! Christine is a gem and makes you feel like the only customer! I would recommend seeing her if you have to use service.

Your staff in the service department go above and beyond to help their customers! I needed a ride to and from your dealership due to a recall on my Tahoe. They arranged a lyft driver for me to take me home. When it was ready, they couldn't find a driver for me so the assistant manager came to my house to get me. Now that's service! Super friendly as well.

The team was just wonderful!! Loved my whole experience, of course this was my first brand new vehicle, and won't be my last from Sunset. Truly AMAZING people you have there, they care for your needs and precious time. I will definitely tell others to go buy a car from the Sunset family.

My sales person was Keven and he was fabulous. We communicated for a couple of weeks thru texts about what I was looking for, my trade in and where I wanted my payments to be. He updated me regularly to let me know what he was working on and where we were at price wise. When I finally made it to the dealership he met us with keys in hand and smile on his face. I was very indecisive and kept asking to see other cars and asking him about features. Once we settled on a car we made a deal and thought all was good. A few days later there was an issue and I had decided I would give the car back because it was more then I wanted to pay. Keven personally took on the task of working to get us an even better deal, one where I could keep the car with everything I wanted and get the monthly payments where we were more comfortable. He was always kind but honest about my expectations and never once was pushy or intrusive. Sunset has always been good to us, must be why we just bought car number 5 from them. You want great sale person that will make the process of buying a car a pleasure? Then go see Keven, he is the man!Dawn W.

I showed up to get a oil change and Brandon noticed my car was leaking antifreeze. Sunset was able to get me a car to drive home and to work the next day. My car got fixed super fast. Totally impressed with the service department. Love Sunset Chevy

Our truck needed a repair that would have cost over $1,000.00. Fortunately, it was covered by our lifetime warranty. An unscrupulous dealer could have charged us for this and we would not have known the difference. Our truck is a 2013 so we did not remember the details on the warranty. Thank you to Sunset Chevrolet for doing a good job and for being honest

I continue to be very pleased with servicing performed at Sunset Chevrolet. This time I had the oil and filter changed (on the oil changes for life program), tires rotated, a door/window mechanism fixed, new wiper blades installed and a tire rotation. Due to the door/window mechanism needing parts, the car was in overnight. The Service Advisor -- Christine -- communicated everything clearly and was timely in notifying me the car would be finished the next day. Based on previous service work, I ask for Christine on all our service appointments. She always represents Sunset very well and is most thorough and helpful with her good communication. No surprises. The work done this time was performed well -- consistent with my previous experiences. Nice job! Thanks, Christine and the Sunset Chev technicians!

Great service on my 2007 Silverado 3500 purchased at Sunset and maintained by them since. These guys are always good to work with and the lifetime oil change has been great for maintaining my truck. I appreciate the service group being polite and helpful! Keep up the good work!

I was very satisfied with all aspects of my service at Sunset Chevrolet in Sumner Washington. The phone receptionist was great at getting an appointment that met my schedule. Upon arrival, they directed me to my service provider, Jacob Bohren, who efficiently got my truck in, serviced it quickly and sent me back out the door in a timely manner. All of this while keeping my health as their top priority, being Covid Safe with distancing and masks. I am extremely impressed with their level of professionalism.

I recently went to another dealership and they couldn t help me . I gave up getting the car I wanted until Vanis from Sunset contacted me and assured me he could help and he did! I got the perfect car and he was so professional and friendly ! I also worked with Peter in finance and he was great with explaining all the paperwork! I will definitely come back in the future! This dealership is great!
