The car seems fine, but I was disappointed in the service.I came in for an oil change but was told I needed other services. I expected that but given how long it had been but felt very pushed along. The initial estimate was about $700.Again, service wasn't bad but if you go I highly recommend not planning to stay in the lobby. Their waiting area is in the same large room as the sales desks. I don't know what kind of sales tactic it is to play music so loud but it gets grating when you're waiting for your car. At some point they texted me about adding another service, but I didn't hear the notification thanks to the music. It was a while before they called me, and that I was able to hear.When they called they said it wouldn't be too much longer even with the additional service. It was another hour after that. I finally went looking for an answer and found my car was ready, but the woman handling my paperwork was having lunch. Now listen, I totally get that employees deserve a lunch, but I came in at 10:30am and it was now 1:45pm. I would also like to have some lunch.All-in-all it went from $700 to ending in $1200. I think part of it may have been the way it was quoted to me originally. The one thing I asked for in addition was replacing the back wiper. I was told it would be $9, but she didn't mention the additional $10 installation fee. I had felt bad that my front wipers couldn't be replaced because I had changed them myself in the past and she was telling me how much cheaper it is to have them replaced there, so at least it's a relief that the cost isnt that different if the installation fee to snap them in is that high.I've had cars worked on at Subaru and Nissan and both did a much better job of walking you through the costs with clear, easy to read documentation. They have little diagrams of the car and color coding. It made me feel like I knew what I just paid for. Here I got a 4 page print out with line items so close together it was impossible to find. At the other places they'd talk you through it and here it was just kind of tossed at me and nothing was explained.Instead of explaining what maintenance was done for my car the woman helping me was telling me about her diet. I tried to politely signal that wasn't a thing I was interested in, but to no avail. As an overweight person, other people's diets are probably my least favorite topic.Finally, if you're wondering why there are so few reviews here, it's because when you leave they encourage you to leave a review through their link which is for the center as a whole. I want to leave it here to be clear that this review is for the service dept, not car sales.I just feel like if I'm going to pay almost a months rent to fix up my car, the experience should be a little better. Part of it was my fault. I was about 15 minutes late, but I did call ahead to ask if I could come in later. I still liked my experience buying a car here, but I'm not coming back for additional service anymore.

Great customer service, I take my Honda there for all my maintenance on my Honda. No unnecessary repairs and timely service.

I recently purchased a certified used Honda Odyssey from Honda of Sumner. I purchased the extended warranty. 300 mi. After purchasing my van, an alarm went off every time I went to drive it. It turned out to be a sensor in the sliding doors. The $1,400 part and was not covered by my extended warranty. However, it was covered covered under the Honda pre-certified warranty but I had to have a thousand miles on it. I only use the van for my art shows. So putting another 700 miles on it before March was not a reality. My service department representative Shane Fitzsimmons went out of his way and over and beyond to get these doors fixed for me. Also Mike Johnson who was there helping me purchase the van and help me make all the decisions about the van when I was buying it. He stepped up with Shane. They went to the top. Explained my circumstances. And I am about to pick up my van. Totally fixed. Free of charge. The service is amazing at Honda of Sumner. I have purchased several vehicles and my daughter bought her first vehicle at Honda of Sumner too? So anybody who's looking for a vehicle if you want amazing salesman and you want top notch service I recommend Honda Sumner forever.
