If I could leave 6 stars I would.. Andrew is a standup guy, a man of his word. In a world where handshakes don t mean much anymore, I did some parts trading with him to get a clutch for my truck.Months later when I finally got around to converting my truck from auto to manual, he was quick to respond to any questions I had, I noticed there was a damaged part of the clutch I got from him. (Something we both overlooked) Minutes later he responded to my message and drop shipped me a brand new clutch on his own dime with tracking info the next day. Anyone in the PNW area with a manual Cummins truck of any generation I 110% recommend him for parts and service. And the best transmission rebuilds on the west coast a-lot of shops out claim to build the best but they ultimately only get done right @ Long range gear!I only recommend him to my familyfriends and customers of my business.

Talked to Andrew on the phone multiple times. He s very knowledgeable about the NV5600. I decided to build it myself after talking to him and watching the videos. I still ordered my clutch from him to support his small business. This guy is truly passionate about what he does. He provides great customer service to anyone that calls. If my rebuild doesn t last, I have no question about where to send my transmission. .

If you have an NV5600 and send it anywhere but Andrew at Long range gear you will be making a huge mistake. Andrew runs a top notch business. Great communication, does beautiful work, pallets and crates the trans before shipping it back.I cannot wait to Install this work of art this weekend.Do yourselves a favor and send your transmissions to Long Range Gear!

I am the original owner of a 2003 Dodge 3500. I had LRG rebuild my NV5600 after 212,000 original miles. Andrew was easy to talk with about the rebuild, clutch selection and install. The transmission shifts as good, if not better, than it did new; even with a dual disc clutch. He replaced my rear main seal and determined it was my cam seal that was leaking. Andrew resealed my transfer case with new output bearing and bushing. He had my authority to do complete rebuild, but he informed me it did not need it. That s honesty! That s integrity! Andrew is the most honest mechanic I have had the pleasure to do business with. I wouldn t trust my truck with anyone else.

My NV5600 lost 6th gear and Andrew was my first call about getting it rebuilt. He went above and beyond to get it rebuilt with the best parts and some cryo treated upgrades at a really reasonable price. The transmission works flawlessly and shifts amazingService: TransmissionService: Transmission

I had a nv4500 built by long range gear and the whole process was absolutely amazing. They are extremely knowledgeable, kind, communicative, and fair with their pricing.Not to mention the finally product is absolutely flawless. In a world of bad customer service and people not standing behind their work, it s really nice to see these guys doing such solid work. Performed a full rebuild of my NV4500 in good time and great price. Functions flawlessly, and will be taking future manual transmissions and/or transfer cases there for any maintenance.

Andrew, and Wyatt have a genuine passion for the work they do. The knowledge and skill they have is second to none. LRG build the NV4500 gearbox for my 5.9 dually. It shifts smooth, is quiet and after the break-in miles I am confident to be hauling for thousands of miles to come.The pricing is the best, I did comparison costs.They are real, down to earth owners who also were generous with their knowledge to suggest quality products and direction on other improvements for my truck. Service is great.Awesome truck now!LRG is my go to place now.

Update March 2023: I had LRG do more work on my truck and it was top notch! Great communication about supplemental issues found that were fixed in the original timeline. They've got my truck ready to roll for a summer of hauling horsesThese guys are beyond awesome! My front driveline came loose and smacked a hole in my transfer case. They sourced and installed a new t case within two days. Fantastic communicators and great pricing. They will definitely be doing future work on my truck.Services: Transmission, Brakes

After a 6 month horror story with a local transmission shop. My nv5600 finally got what it needed from Long Range Gear. These guys drove 10 hrs round trip to get my trans back to me. But the horror continued from the previous builder and I had to pull the trans again. And again LRG drove 10 hrs round trip to come get the trans and found the issue from the previous builder then drove another 10hrs round trip to get it back to me all within a week. Third gear blew up said they would warranty and then did not using excuse of grease on input shaft which after talking to multiple professionals was from the throw out bearing we did not get even 10k miles out of it and $5000 later broken trans I will be spreading the word to the performance community I can provide all emails and call interactions will be pursuing small claims court
