I have had 2 incredible experiences with Vandervert Automotive ServicesThese folks are amazingly knowledgeable Automotive repair.I noticed my Honda Element was make a strange noise and what felt like a improperly balanced tire.What was actually happening was the left front CV Axel was going out.Parts were ordered, car was repaired and she drive like a dream again.I would Highly recommend Vandervert Automotive Services

I do not have enough words to express how grateful I am for Vandervert. My Jeep had been dying on me while at high rate of speed for 10 months and 6 different automotive shops including a dealership that could not correctly figure out why. It was 2 days my Jeep was with Vandervert and they FOUND IT! SPARK PLUGS, coils, and boots. This is after being told it was the transmission by a dealership, (which I replaced) and turns out did not fix the problem. Matt and Joss kept me informed every step of the way and I couldn t be happier, they took the TIME to figure out the REAL problem. 100% recommend them for everything. You guys got me back on the road after 10 months. So very grateful.

After going to a dealer and another repair shop and paying for unnecessary repairs (that didnt make sense but not being a mechanic i had to trust) that didn't fix the problem on our chevy, Vanderverts did a thorough assessment, and even though it was extremely bad news, we know what the issues are.

My daughter's jeep would not start, so after previous good service on another vehicle, We took it there. MICHELLE and the crew analyzed the recall defect and communicated with Dishman Dodge and myself. Quick recall fix. I've relied on Vandervert to keep my old XTerra running since moving to Spokane last year. I think it is the most professional and courteous shop I've used in many years. They get repairs done when they say they will, do accurate pre repair estimates and stick to them.Two stories:Last year I had a problem after they replaced the fuel pump with one that turned out to be defective. They promptly fixed it again at no cost to me. Then it leaked. Took it back and they honestly owned up to installing it wrong and again fixed it quickly. Would have been easy to blame it on another defective part but I was impressed with the better way they handled it.This year I took it in after a major tire shop told me an axle seal was leaking. I was prepared to pay for this $500 job. But when I went to pick up the car, George told me the seal was fine and didn't need to be replaced. Even showed me photos to show me how he reached that conclusion. Sadly, this degree of integrity can't be taken for granted and, again, I was impressed.Can't recommend this business highly enough.

Great communication, repairs done on time, according to the schedule they provided. When I picked the car up, the mechanic came into the office, and showed me the old part, and explained why it failed. I highly recommend these guys

Matt (service writer) was great to deal with, and they even signed up as a South Bend dealer so they could purchase the clutch I wanted. Found and fixed a problem with the A/C that I didn't even know about. I called two weeks later for mechanical advice on a different matter and they were happy to advise me. I highly recommend this place! We have been really happy after taking multiple vehicles here for years now. We have used them for automotive repairs as well as tires, and the work has always been solid. We never have to take the car back for follow up work after they do a fix. I LOVE that they ll drive me to and from work while they work on my car, it s great for making sure to get oil changes regularly - The convenience makes it so easy! I have a general mistrust for mechanics after some bad experiences with shops taking advantage just to make a buck and these guys have really earned my trust and appreciation. Important to me: Vandervert Automotice has always been competitively priced, which I appreciate. I don t even feel the need to get quotes elsewhere anymore because they are always a great price compared to other shops. They also tell me what to anticate for future maintenance/repairs and what is priority. I appreciate the honesty.

Where do I start. I moved to Spokane 2 years ago, and have struggled to find a decent repair shop. After tons of bad luck. I found a light at the end of the tunnel. Vandervert automotive not only solved my problem but, gained a customer for life! Matt and Josh where absolutely amazing from start to finish. Friendly service yet prompt. Matt even ordered my part(rack and pinion) knowing that it would take some time to come In, and scheduled my alignment(which they got in early). Not only that but he kept in contact with me the whole entire process. I left them my car while away on vacation because my A/C wasn't working and they called me when they were finished to let me know it was actually more minor than I was guessing and also let me know about my pesky oil leak that I had been meaning to fix and, after receiving permission since it was a pretty bad leak, took care of that for me as well. It was such a sigh of relief, they did an excellent job and were completely honest about what exactly was wrong and didn't try selling me anything I didn't need. I'm usually very skeptical about mechanics since there are many I don't trust, but I highly recommend Vandervert. The people who work there are outstanding and very nice and definitely know what they're doing and the price is very fair in my personal opinion.

An updated review after nearly a year later using Vandevert for the first time - I am still an extremely happy and satisfied customer! I would not go anywhere else. The precision and attention to detail they possess has literally saved my car and kept it driving like a dream. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of, kept me updated, and made sure I confirmed each fix. I cannot say much else about Vandervert other than they are amazing and I will always continue coming here!

Outstanding and honest car repair center, have always been at or below their estimate. Wife's Durango was giving them fits trying to track down the noise problem. They worked on it at no additional charge 3 more times until they discovered the issue and we covered the cost of the items. You don't find customer service like this at most auto repair places and never at any dealership I've ever been too.

After a futile search of about 15 businesses (including RV dealers) in an attempt to service our AC system in our RV we finally got a YES from Vandervert. Stopped by Vandervert Auto as we had just drove across country to pick our kids up from college and realized we needed some quick help with our truck lucky we stopped at Vandervert Auto and they helped us quickly and professionally with great service went above and beyond. Highly recommend

Took the car in for an oil change and tail light replacement. The guys at Vandervert Automotive were awesome and quick! Car came back an hour later looking like a million bucks.Heard a loud pop and scraping metal on the drive home about 15 minutes from the shop. I called the shop to see if they could help troubleshoot/tow. Joss, the shop owner, immediately drove over to personally check the car out. Turns out I had run over a razor blade on my drive home. Joss popped the razor blade out of the tire and sent me on my way. AMAZING customer service! Best auto shop in Spokane hands down.

I was having an intermittent electrical issue warning light on my 2000 Chevy pickup. I took it to Vandervert's where they did some checks and tried to replicate the problem. After having the pickup there for the day, they were unable to replicate or diagnose the problem. Even though they had invested time in the job, since they weren't able to find any problem they told me there would be no charge for their service. They advised me to bring it back if the warning light came on again. It's been two weeks and the problem hasn't resurfaced. Maybe Vandervert's needs to charge for their magic even if they didn't think they did anything! I'm now a believer, and still a satisfied Vandervert customer.

First time, I went to them instead of other places because they had a 5 star review, and they are amazing! Honest people, its hard to find honest people when it comes to people working on your vehicle. They were always calling to keeping me in the loop which I really appreciate. I wouldnt take my car any other place! Thank you guys so much!

The absolute best full-auto service I've experienced. No wonder they are always booked out for weeks or months. Super friendly and experienced staff, good turn around time, no hassling or haggling - problems with my car were fixed the FIRST time. Worth every penny.
