Mechanics Pride means exactly what their shop says. They truly take pride in the work they do for your vehicle. They worked on my old 92 Honda Accord that needed a timing belt and had excessive oil leaking issues and other issues due to its age. Austin at MP was extremely informal after doing a complete diagnostic review of my engine issues. His explanations were right on about the car since I knew very well to what was wrong with the car based on my own knowledge of auto repair that I like to do one my own as a hobby. I originally did not want to change the timing belt by myself since I felt it was a little over my head plus the car needed a lot of additional help. Based on Austin s recommendation we agreed we needed a full engine out to replaces all the leaky oils seals and any other components that needed servicing for ease of access. After the reinstallation of the engine, the car ran amazing but there was a strange noise at idle. MP took the liberty, investigated the issue, and fixed it based on a new part that they originally replaced was defective all under warranty. Michele the mechanic at MP, who personally work on my vehicle throughout the project did and amazing job. In fact, when the project was done, you could not tell that the engine was ever out of the car since he reinstalled it so meticulously. Now the car feels and drives like an almost new 1993 Honda Accord. Thank you, Mechanics Pride, I m so glad we had you guys practically rebuild our over 300K plus miles Honda that we are the original owners too and value this car as one of our family members.

My car broke down right in front of the Mechanics Pride building! Not only did they move my car into the shop and fix the problem; but they even vacuumed the floors and put in an air freshener! Everyone was so friendly and nice, and I drove my car out good-as-new after only a few hours! I will definitely return if I need any repairs in the future. 10/10, highly recommend.

The reason I give 5 today, is because you can always post a bad but rarely post a good because it's easier to take the time out of your day when your pissed, but when your fine feel less of the need, I've been Learning and working on cars more n more , and although id appreciate the price to go down, they are amazing workers with skill, I address what is needed n they fix what I cannot ,I appreciate the employees and there hard work, honesty n hard work is key, take your car here and leave assured it was truly fixed. Right the first time.

Just picked up my Toyota Tacoma from them. Thing has never driven so nice since I got it!! They did my clutch and went thru my whole truck, diagnosing every creek and rattle. Sounds and drives like it was brand new!!! Finally!!! Thank you to Austin and your team for a great job!!!

I love working with mechanics pride! First time was for a complete engine overhaul after being quoted twice as much at a different place and the owner Mike was able to find and warranty a used engine for a much more affordable price. They also took care of the front right CV axle which needed to be replaced. CV axle was a bad part and blew within the first day and I was able to get towed and a new CV axle no additional cost. Mike is also an extremely hands on owner overseeing every aspect of car cares within his service department. I plan on continuing to use mechanics pride for my future automotive maintenance and repair needs.Services: Engine repair, Auto maintenance

Have had to bring my old ford explorer in multiple times and these guys are some of the most empathetic, understanding mechanics I ve met. I ve brought my girl into other shops before and they ve never compared to mechanics pride. Thank you to Austin and Mike especially!!! They keep my car going strong

I have been going to mechanics pride for three years now. they are honest and kind! great customer service, especially Austin! I appreciate how clearly they explain the issue with my car and what in particular they are doing to fix it, I never feel talked down to :)

They're great! Highly suggest them. Updating, I brought my car here again and they were very honest and helpful with me. I was not trusting of a previous place and they confirmed that stuff wasn't needed which helped me save over a thousand in repairs. I'm so grateful for this place, they are kind and professional and very trustworthy

Called to compare quotes for a blown head gasket that I got from Bob s. Spoke with Austin who was really helpful and understanding and gave me a great second opinion. Affirmed that the quote was from his competitor was fair. Honest, cool guy.

Went in for a safety inspection for an 18 hour drive through all types of terrain, ice and snow included. I'd been here before. No note of break inspection was made on my itemized bill. On my drive, I began to hear metal on metal so I took my car in as soon as I got back to my home state (CA) resulting in the need for 4 new rotors and break pads as my pads were gone and rotors torn up. Called to check my break pad percentage and Mike said they were around 20-30% which doesn't add up. No sense of concern or care on Mikes behalf which is sad considering he preached good, honest work. My safety as well as my mothers, was put at risk during that drive. I won't even go into the tire pressure sensors that most likely didn't need to be changed as they always turn on in low temperatures and then go off in warm temperatures. I was largely taken advantage of. I am a young girl from CA who was in WA for graduate school (still had my CA plates), go figure.Service: Auto maintenance

My husband and I have had extensive repairs done by these guys to our early 2000 s model vehicles for about two years now.They do great work and try to get you back on the road as quickly as possible. When my husband s power steering went out again after having previously been repaired, these guys got him in and replaced the part free of charge.They are busy, but with the quality of service (and reasonable prices) they provide, they re well worth the wait.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto tire replacement, Auto maintenance

This place employs amateur hour mechanics. Oil changes and brakes and basic tune ups are about all they're capable of. They just got done ripping off a member of my family, charging him ridiculous amounts of money to throw parts at his car until it's still not fixed. Feeding him stories with absolutely no basis in physical mechanical fact.If you want your spark plugs changed or maybe your tires rotated they can likely accommodate that. Actual troubleshooting and diagnosis? Definitely not.

I brought my car in to be fully inspected & diagnosed and then given an estimate. I wanted a full top to bottom inspection of everything wrong. I'm pretty sure they didn't even look at the car and only repeated back to me the issues I knew the car had that I told them initially. Whenever I asked for a report or about the codes, I never got an answer or explanation. I also thought they were working on those codes and the major issues with the car and come to find out they only have an estimate for/did small things like breaks, hose, belt, etc. My codes never got fixed or even look at I'm assuming. I was holding out hope that those small things were related to the codes and major issues it was having but they were not. The only good thing they fixed was my valve gaskets and CV axle. Well now after about a month of driving it, it runs worse than it was before and has more codes it's ever had!! 14 codes!! When I brought it in to them it only had three!! Idk what they did to my car but they definitely did not fix it by any means. On top of it all they charged almost $2k just for my car to run worse than ever!! Ladiess up front are very nice though.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Steering & suspension replacement, Engine repair, Brakes, Auto maintenance

This place is the real deal. These are mechanics not salesmen. They re courteous people and honest w/ their customers. They take the time to explain what they re doing and why, and won t rush to oversell you on work you don t need. So refreshing. They also gave me a ride back home when I dropped the car off and didn t leave my interior black and sticky once the work was done. Only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is that they had my car for almost a week which was fine but I had to call once or twice to get updates from them. Honestly, this isn t a jab at their level of customer service at all, they re just super busy and could definitely benefit from a dedicated front desk person to field all their calls. Overall, no complaints. I d definitely come back to this shop.

I can't say or express my truest gratitude for this company they break the rules with "you can't trust a mechanic".. I've taken My "Brother ".. my hunting rig in a numerous of time, always believing and dreading the worst.. come to find out..it was something minor... where OTHER'S!!..Were sharpening up their hatchet to take me for my ride!! They have a nice waiting room, clean, and mostly important theirStellar staff!! I'm on a LOW budget.. and they tried their hardest to help me with getting a loan to fix my Brother .. EXCELLENCE is common here!!

They were professional but I don't think they're the best mechanics. Mechanics Pride told me my vehicle was electrical and they could not repair it. When I brought the car to my regular mechanic at Country Homes he saw a loose wire immediately and tell me it would be ready the next day. $60 repair which I was told would be 3 to $500 Mechanics Pride... basically the wire was two fans that cool the radiator down. But the wire was a very obviously hanging down. Friendly service thoughService: Engine repair

They are honest and reliable! I had my front suspension replaced (and something else on the front end) They did a great job! The day after I got it back, I had some issues driving, and thought that they messed something up. They had it towed back to the shop, only to find out that I had water in gas tank. They fixed it quickly and gave me a free oil change. I recommend this shop to anyone needing quality work done. Thank you, Mechanic's Pride!Service: Steering & suspension repair

Been here a few times now for different automotive issues. The last few times left me with a bad taste in my mouth. One day it took them over FIVE hours to get my oil change done, even thought they told me it would be done before the time I specified. My spouse missed work because of this. They told me on the phone they would comp the oil change, but tried to charge us when we came to pick up the car. One tech seemed upset that the other one had given us a free oil change.The next time I brought the car in was because of the check engine light. They told me I had a major oil leak that would cost $600 to fix (which I very much doubt because my oil level hasn't decreased for weeks now) and they also made an appointment for me to bring the car back to do "further diagnostic work" regarding the check engine codes. Dropped the car off at 10am, didn't hear anything back all day. Stopped by right before close to find out what was up. The tech said "Oh I thought we were keeping the car overnight?" I told them I hadn't given approval for that, and I had been waiting to hear back all day. I waited while they ran around grabbing different clip boards to find the right one for my car. It ends up that they didn't do anything with my car all day because the check engine light hadn't come back on since the first time. But why couldn't they have called to at least inform me that there was nothing they could do? Why couldn't they investigate the engine based on the codes from the previous time? Either way I am done with this disorganized place. Every time I bring my car is a waste of time, and no one seems to know what is going on. I will not be returning.

I m new to owning a car, but aware of the constant risks of being taken advantage of my mechanics and am not super familiar with car design and issues. The staff of Mechanics Pride were patient with me, did not pressure me about making repairs or doing so through them, thoroughly explained the issues my car had, and seemed reasonably priced compared to previous mechanics I had visited. They completed the work quickly and efficiently, test drove it to be sure, and followed up with me a few days later to check on the car. Definitely would recommend and will be returning again with any other issues I may have.Service: Engine repair

First experience at Mechanics Pride and I was very impressed and happy with the service provided. The rates were not bad at all, and he was very honest about what was wrong. I've been ripped off so many times at other places but I truly feel like this was a great experience. My car sounds and drives like brand new! And the lifetime guarantee on the parts is unbeatable. Highly recommend.

We took our SUV in troubleshoot an electrical issue. Something in the SUV was draining the cars battery cause us to have to jump the vehicle every morning. They were confident they understood the issue... saying it was a light in the glove compartment. My mom PAID for the service and was confident they were diligent and fixed the issue as they told us. They DID NOT fix the issue at all. We called them telling them that the issue was not resolved. They said they could look at it again but they would charge my mom again for something they said they fixed but didn't. Shady business. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.Service: Electrical repair
