Do not use this shop for any work at all if you do you taking a risk of being ripped off. I was totally ripped off, lied to and had to take my engines to another engine builder for repairs. The old saying buyer beware!! their are other shops with better intergrity then Euro Union. Check BBB which Euro Union in not a member of beware I could only give them a rating of STAY AWAY!!!!!

I have stopped in here a few times because I ran out of tools in the middle of doing a job. Jimmy has always been able to help me same day for a more than fair fee. Great place to view and talk about history too, everybody is knowledgeable.Service: General repairs & maintenanceService: General repairs & maintenance

This is a good and unique place with helpful staff and lots of creativity to offer. Don't waste their time and they wont waste yours, I read a couple bad reviews and it sounds like the only people complaining know they brought in a lemon or someone else's project to restore and were surprised when things got expensive. If that's you then take a step back into the reality of the situation before blowing up, getting a car running again is one thing and making it drive like new requires a whole different skillset. That being said I can't imagine how they find parts for half of these cars in this decade and if a part can't be found they will make the effort to manufacture it and so on. I have limited experience here but every time I have needed help I gave them a call and got it.

Horrible experience. First time I had them change the oil they over filled it. Thought I would give them another chance. Next time they didn't get the oil cap on correctly, which caused oil to get all over the engine on the way home, which I had to clean up. Also, they didn't use the required copper washer on the drain plug, so now I have a leak there. When I brought these things to the owner's attention via email, he replied "Sorry, you are having issues with your car leaking oil. Oil leaks on high mile cars is a common thing. I'm no longer wanting to work on your car. Please find someone else." Pretty bad when your car is in worse condition after getting it serviced and then they aren't willing to fix the problems they caused. - Great Service Jimmy!!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

As soon as my son s vehicle was totaled this winter by someone not yielding to their right, I knew Jimmy was going to be the guy to find my son his next vehicle. The owner, Jimmy, came highly rated by a co-worker and provided three choices right away. The transaction process was easy and comes with a years worth of oil changes. If you are looking for a reliable used car, this is the place to go. Jimmy is proficient at finding cars that need TLC and gives them the respect they deserve before reselling. We were very happy with our experience.

Horrible business! Brought my 1.6D for total rebuild. Installed it and the head leaked terribly. took apart myself to see the head had deep gouges from milling. Took it to him to ask about it and Jimmy told me to use emery cloth and sand it down. While apart, inspection showed that almost nothing had been done. Emailed the owner multiple times with absolutely no response. A head shop fixed the head right for $70. When I spend thousands I expect a professional job. I would give negative stars if possible. NO ONE should ever go here

Great shop! I have used them once before and they did excellent work on the repair / oil change and were extremely kind. I would recommend this business to anyone!

DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE. Brought a bug there for bumpers. Did not want an inspection as we knew what was needed but they did that anyway. The work that was requested (bumpers) were installed inadequately. It looks worse then when it was dropped off at the shop. No explanation when the vehicle was picked up for the shoddy work and the mechanic was already out of the building. Called this morning and he was very rude and wouldn t talk through the issue to see if there could have been a compromise. There was lots of money to be made in fixing the bug but with the poor service and the horrible attitude of the owner, I will not recommend this shop to anyone. Stay away!!!!!!!

Heads up people in the Valley. Euro Union is not a good place to take your vehicle. Jim the owner is not a honest person. He dose NOT stand behind his work. Instead of trying to make the situation better, he calls you names on the phone and then hangs up on you. And this is a business Man. I don t think so. He wouldn t even listen or be willing to talk about things. Very unprofessional! Do yourself a favor and do not go to this place of business for anything. Horrible just horrible Run. Run fast!

I have come many times for repairs on several of my vehicles over the years. Not only do they do a great job but they really do take care of you. They are always warm and inviting often taking the time to answer any of my questions. They have even taken the time to source out hard to get parts for my vehicles.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Engine repairServices: General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair

Let me start this off with the positives, i requested a total look over of my car, suspension motor trans etc. and for them to track and fix the oil leak. they called soon after and gave me a rundown. oil leak was a pulley seal and my front ball joints looked pretty worn out, but i opted out of replacing those. they quoted me $400 to fix the oil leak that others quoted 600-700, and the overview was $80. Their pricing was very fair and my oil leak has reduced quite dramatically, while the oil still does leak about a quart every month, i am satisfied with the work they did do.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I brought my van in for an oil leak. They said it was the oil pump so $600 later I have a new oil pump and it still leaks when I get home. Brought it back they said it needs new threads in the oil pan so $100 later they said it's fixed and I paid on the phone. Picked up my van and 3 miles from the shop the engine sucked a valve and my engine is totaled. I'm not saying that is their fault but it's very suspect. And on top of that it STILL LEAKS From the oil pan I paid $100 to fix. So I go back in to get a refund just for the $100 because I was told it was fixed on the phone and it wasn't. The shop owner refused to give my money back and got mad when I said it was ironic that my strong running engine blew up right out of his shop. He said the oil leak could have happened in the 3 miles since I left his shop therefore he wasn't liable. Are you kidding me? You don't garuntee your work for 3 miles? He would not see my point of view. And it's not like I can bring my totaled car back to have the oil leak fixed that would be silly. Just wanted my $100 back. $700 and a totaled engine later I'm writing this review. While the van is dripping oil in my driveway. This place seemed really legit at first and the guy up front was cool but geeeez.

Jimmy who owns the store- says he too busy to schedule/look up/ or even asst with a basic repair (at anytime now or in the future) for an issue most all Volkswagens will need at some point. He didn t care enough to even try to direct me to someone that can help- EVEN though he specializes in repairs for Volkswagens. Horrible customer service and support. When asked what repairs he cares enough about to do there- he hung up. I wound never give this guys one cent of my hard earned money. Called Auto-Nation down the street -was a night and day different response- they were a great help. DONT waste time with this joker- call auto-nation instead.

I took my 1976 Westy here for a total engine rebuild on a recommendation from a friend. I met with Jimmy, the owner, and he sold me on his experience and said the rebuild will take 3-4 weeks. After 15 weeks of mainly sitting next to his shop they did manage to return my vehicle the last day I could possibly pick it up before the snow flew. Jimmy tried to charge me $11,500 for the rebuild. It never ran right and it couldn't even make it up my driveway without passing out. At this point I took it to the European Autohaus for a speedo cable replacement that Jimmy never did and I didn't trust them to do at this time. After their air-cooled mechanic looked at the motor he found many oil leaks, messed up timing and in the end, after taking it back to Jimmy a couple times, the WRONG SIZED CARBURETORS. This means the first 600 miles I drove my newly rebuilt engine 2 of the cylinders didn't have enough air and fuel to fire properly. I learned this is called the venturi area and it's simple math for motors. Jimmy himself refuses to make it right or even buy back the wrong carburetors. I tried to work with him and felt I was patient, but now I have to spread to word NEVER to bring your vintage vehicle here! There is a reason it feels like you're in a shop about to go out of business when you go there. Go anywhere else!!

This place is an absolute joke, we got told to drop our car off early in the morning and they would get us right in, I called for an update at 330 in the afternoon and they hadn't even had a chance to look at it. At 430 they called and gave us a quote for $650.00 for repairs that needed to be fixed. At 530 they called and said they had fixed everything in the car. The parts alone were $300! So for one hour of labor they chaged $350 and left filters covers off and grease staines on the the exterior of the car. They also mentioned we needed new brakes and it would only be $1000.00. I called them and left a messege because of some things they claimed to fix they did not and after 2 weeks still haven't gotten a call back. Needless to say this place is a rip off and they are complete hacks. Anyways happy new year everyone!

Jimmy helped me find and purchase just the car I had been looking for. He got me a great deal on an Audi S6 that was out of state but he helped me get it here. I have also used him on multiple occasions to source parts. He is very nice to deal with and aims to please. I will continue using him.

I did not like buying from jimmy he sold me a car that died twice. before I could even get home. And I have had to replace all suspension ,alternator ,and starter. He said he would get my car towed to help out ,no phone call after that. Terrible customer service and sells cars that you have to dump money in to get running safely.

The system won't allow me to delete,, so I changed the Stars and am writing a retraction.. after a voice-mail from the owner,, I checked again and I actually had the appointment at Europro, not Euro Nation. My apologies to the owner.called to schedule an appointment to have a key repgrammed. They scheduled me out three weeks. Two days prior to appointment date, I called to ask if I could have my car towed there early, they say they don't program keys. Terribly unprofessional to not even know what services you provide.

Jimmy and his crew have ALWAYS treated me well. I bought a 2002 audi quatro from him and it has been an excellent car. He even offered to put the snow tires on. I would recommend Euro Union to anybody looking for a car.

I would give no stars if i could. This mechanic is a hustler. i had two VW rabbits, one 84 and the other 08. By some miracle both cars had the same issue, the timing belt and brake lines and a leak in the coolant and he added some other stuff with it. Also I took both cars to Poor Boys which was an excellent mechanic. There i was told both cars had nothing wrong, just needed a little maintenance. The euro union mechanic does business in cash to avoid taxes. I had referred my friend with German car to euro union and he was told his car has issue with timing chain, brake lines, and coolant and took out the coil cable to ruin his car and not drive right. I would never recommend anyone go to this mechanic, he s a hustler and does not fix cars like he s supposed to. Like when you tell him to check the car and you pay for it he would only check little things and not check the main issue in the car and he comes up with new things that was never there there at first i have Receipts that shows my car problems he listed but i took it to another mechanic and says there is nothing wrong with your car. I took my car to this hustler hustler to fix my Clutch cable and he missed up the gear the gear stared making noise hahahaha i came back he says I haven t moved the car from its spot but why would you change fix my car in the drive way why not in the garage. Im just saying i dont need no one getting hustle from this Unhuman person who only care about money i had to sell both of my car because he Hustled one of them still had some issues that he says he fixed the car it jerked on the freeway when i got it from him and his mechanic is the dumb mechanic you will ever see in your life he just listens to what the hustler mechanic says and follow just like a dog. Whats funny that he calls people when they leave a bad review and He threatens them do not show up at his mechanic and he could ve avoided all that by doing his job but now he wanted to be the bad guy and hustle people and make people feel bad specially some poor people that he doesn t understand that they need money and they need to fix their car but he don t he makes the car worse also he kept deleting the bad reviews its bad to do that cause people wont know what kind of mechanic you are

Edit: 05/30/18 I stopped counting Euro Union repair bills at 10, with some of the bills several hundred dollars. You would think that might buy a little appreciation when in a jam. Nope not a bit, couldn't be bothered about what could be wrong with the vw, though they would be interested in buying the car if I sold. I change my review to the other Google guides that wouldn't give them the chance to insult him in person. I did end up selling the car and not to Euro Union....so basically their lack of customer service lost them a client for life.OLD ReviewI'll sum it up like this: excellent workmanship, very reasonable rates, and above all HONEST ETHICAL people. I use to go to the other guy, and was treated like an ATM. Eurounion provides a written quote makes the needed repairs and has NEVER gone over budget. Thank you Eurounion.

Why do I love these guys? Well it's simple really. I have an old bug no one in town has parts. They can get them for a big price plus shipping. Alot of the places I went to said oh you have to rebuild the whole front end. Which I know is bs. I went here not only did they have my parts for my 65 bug but did the work I was going to have to do. And for cheap. Nice guy behind counter. Shop guy got my parts snapped together just cause. Will return and you should check them out...

ZERO STARS -5 if i could. You will be throwing your money away when go there-- I had been researching every vehicle i might be interested in buying and the one i forget to Carfax and buy? Here. Found out when i did that the car I bought had been declared a total loss by the previous owner which means two things. First, he will not disclose if the title was never branded. (In fact, he will not tell you anything. YOU have to know and guess or get a professional opinion). Second, he will never take (personal) responsibility or accountability--Only "legal" ..and his Lawyer will call you on a Saturday and say you are full of **it for thinking he owes you thousands in diminished value compensation. It's almost forgivable for me or another consumer to buy a car and forget about the title history reports, but how can a dealer say "I didn't know" and get away with it? And he has! ...and still wants you to trust him and keep giving him your business, i.e. $$$ ...and it just gets "better"--2 months in this car and i am on the 3rd set of headlamps that won't work completely and a coil spring broke while i was in the garage checking fuses. Some people give a new meaning to the phrase "As is" "No Warranty" and "Buyer beware."

We have purchased two of our VWs from EuroUnion and they have proven to be good reliable cars. Jimmy has consistently provided knowledgeable and honest service for my family on all of our Volkswagens. We will keep coming back to him.

I bought a 2007 VW Passat Wagon last October and have had nothing, but enjoyment with the vehicle. I did have to get a couple things replaced for the car, including the cam lead and cam shaft that VW has a warranty extension for. When I was facing this issue, Jimmy, Marc, and the rest of the crew assisted in me with my issues/concerns and did their best to get me back out on the road without any further issues reoccurring. They are very professional in helping you with your needs and explain to you what needs fixing and break it down for you on the price of parts and labor. They sell an assortment of used parts for various models built by VW and Audi and cost the fraction of what news ones will run you at the dealership. If you are a college student or someone who's on a strict budget who owns a Volskwagen and/or Audi, I fully recommend you to take your car there to get either repairs or finish up that project you've been working on.

I had been looking for a mechanic I could trust, for awhile and when I found Jimmy I was so relieved. It s nice to be able to feel confident that my car will be fixed within a timely fashion and very reasonably priced.

Total shyster. Tried to charge me $1000 for brakes he said were at 20%, when they were at 50%. Then threatened to not let me take my car if I didn't get the work done, told me I'd have to get it towed. Then programmed the car so I had to take it to someone else to get it driveable again.Don't ever take a car here.
