I have used this shop to have my tires changed in the past with good luck. I brought my own tire tank they replaced it with no problems.I called this morning to schedule a have my rear tire changed. When they found out I already had the tire they refused to install it. It was a brand new tire. I guess they want the upcharge.

When I first started riding almost 25 years ago, Ed's was the go-to shop for any motorcycle work. Over the years, I learned how to work on my bikes, but I recently bought a bike that needs a lot of work and I just didn't want to deal with some of it, so I wondered if Ed's was still a good place to go. When I called, they were able to fit me into the schedule right away. I dropped off my bike in the morning, they performed the work quickly, let me know it was ready that same early afternoon, and the price was great. The price was a big factor for me as I would just have done the work myself if it was going to have a high cost, but they gave me a rough estimate over the phone and stuck to it when I went to pay, and that price was way under what I expected it to be. It feels good knowing a business has been around as long as they have and they are still performing exceptional work at a great price.

Don t know if you just gotta get lucky or what I brought a tire in 3 months ago and they changed it no issues even though I didn t buy from them and had great customer service tried to use them again and they told me they haven t been changing tires that aren t brought from them for over a year now and the lady I talked to was the lead for services and honesty had terrible customer service

Really can't say enough good things about these guys. I have taken my bikes in for about 20 years for work that was outside my basic maintenance skillset. They are always friendly, honest about shop time and prices, and I have never, EVER had anything they've worked on go sideways later on. The few times I had to take my bikes elsewhere due to circumstances outside my control, the local places that worked on them were nowhere near as good as these guys on all levels. Highest recommendation for work on your bike in the Spokane area.Services: Electrical repair, Tires, Engine repair, Brake service & repair

Brought some new Dunlop tires in to have mounted on wheels but was greeted at the door with, unless you buy the tires through us, we won t install those. That was it, young guy turned around and went back to work. No one has 10 tires in stock, and needed them back within two days. I won t go back and will no longer recommend this shop.Service: Tires

Ed's is great. Took my motorcycle in for an oil change and a few other small maintenance issues. The work was done in a timely manner and the employee Brian did a great job of communicating with me while the work was being performed.

Customer service: Far below 1 star. Being hung up on mid conversation is a pretty big issue to me.Turn around time: Good luck; took them 6 weeks just to look at my bike, 8 weeks to get it back.Bottom line; Ed & staff don t care. Impression I got. Would not recommend.Service: Engine repair

Ed's is a great place to either buy motorcycle stuff or talk about all things bikes, Spokane, local people that have influenced Spokane, or anything else you can think about. Spending money here is money well spent just for the education experience.

Went here to get my tires replaced. Had everything I needed in stock already. Dropped off my bike and a couple hours later got a call saying everything was all done. Would definitely recommend. Will be a returning customer for any future work on my baby!

Great service!!! Have an 09 KX250F that barely ran I bought in Illinois. Brought them the loose carb, described the issue, they overhauled they entire carb and told me to bring it by when I had it back if there were any further issues. They found the jetting and leak issues from the previous owner and as soon as I made it back to Illinois I threw it back on the bike. It runs better than new.I stopped in and talked to them on a whim and I m glad I did. I ll be back for any other issues in the future, and I normally never bring my bikes or cars into a shop. Thanks guys (and gal)!!!! Great work!

One of the few shops in town that will true a wheel. Great service and good prices. I will continue to bring my bike here for service.

Guys are great. Dropped things off. They are a couple weeks out but that's kinda the norm anymore. Can't wait to get the bike back on the road!

Ed's is a family business. His son the service manager (sorry forget his name) put some tires on my metric cruiser for me in the Spring. My wheels are spoke-ed and the tires have tubes. In the past I was having problems with them holding air. After they put the tires on for me, they did not deflate in the least all Spring, Summer and Fall.Recently I was having difficulty with my clutch. It was hard to shift and wanting to pull away when stopped and the clutch pulled in. I pulled into Ed's and spoke with one of the Tech's working in the back. He told me it's probably air in the clutch lines. When I asked what their service schedule was like, much to my dismay, he said they were booked out 2 weeks. I mentioned I just wanted to get some riding in before the season was over. The tech thankfully could see my plight and went inside to check with Ed's son and sure enough they squeezed me in, while I went across the street to have a cup of coffee. In 15-20 minutes they called me back to say that my bike was ready. Sure enough it was air in the lines and the bike was shifting like a champ!! Excellent job and just wanted to say thanks once again guys for the low cost, quick and correct fix!! You guys are the best.I really like the fact that after seeing other bike shops come and go, Ed's has been in business since the early 90's. * *one of the hidden gems of this shop is the showroom upstairs of fully operational old school metric bikes that Ed himself has built throughout the years** Ed is a quiet and interesting guy that with his European mechanic's smock is something straight out of a cool 60's foreign film. Just some of my own impressions.

Had my oil changed on my R1 7/8/20. I called to another shop before Eds and they quoted me "weeks out" for an oil change. Called Eds and had an appointment set for the next day and it only took 40min. Definitely taking my bike back next time and going to see if he can do future service on my bike. Will update as i get more done.

Ed knows his stuff. He has upgraded and/or repaired my family's snowmobiles and dirt bikes for years. His prices are more than reasonable. Also, he is a fantastic human being. I will continue to give him my business for as long as he is around. Thanks for everything, Ed!

Not very helpful. They couldn't help me find a back tire, didn't even try looking, so I went down the street to the other shop I found what I was looking.I asked this shop to install the new tire for me and they refused because I didn't buy the tire through them. They just weren't helpful what so ever, they don't care about helping people.

Do not do business with this establishment. Nobody I know will take stuff to Ed to have work done and I should have listened to them. More worried about covering his bottom line than providing a positive service experience and getting return customers. I spent 10 months trying to get a part back from Ed that had an initial promised return time of 3 weeks. When I was finally provided with the cylinder 10 months later, it couldn't even fit back on the bike it came off of without having to be taken someplace else to be completely re-worked. Worse yet, Ed insisted on being paid 275 dollars for the unusable part in order to cover his cost from the subcontractor. He would not look me in the eye or even shake my hand when I came to pay him the money he wanted so I could get the part back in order to take someplace else to have the work redone from square one. Everyone I know takes all cylinder honing, top end work, and other business elsewhere in order to avoid the headache and wasted time you will deal with here.

I feel I need to start this review off with the whole story. I was in an accident where another driver failed to yield and I was forced to lay my motorcycle on its side. I then get the bike moved to Ed's. Next step was Ed himself retaining my bike because they did a mandatory insurance evaluation and didn't want to release the bike because he wanted paid the whole Shabbat. I know I get it he is a local shop owner looking for some cash! Here is where the plot thickens not only did i get the worst customer service available they were not only downgrading but outright rude about the entire process, over a month later I get the motorcycle back after literally $2100 dollars worth of repairs. And it gets thicker from here, due to getting the bike back in late November I decide to garage it until this spring. I decided to do some cleaning and come to find out they literally bought new plastics and put it over the wrecked bike.... my main frame stud still had paint from the car that was hit and was ground down (wish I could upload pictures so bad) not only that but had loosed my clutch cable to the point that it wouldn't hardly shift and literally put my fairings on with half the bolts needed and left the other ones off... not only are they capable of committing insurance fraud they will flat out lie to your face.If you want to deal with terribly horrible customer service and shady mechanic trades this is your shop otherwise avoid it at all costs!!!!!!!

Very fast service and saved me 20 from the next cheapest shop. I had a rear tire replaced, my normal shop didn't know when they could get the tire I wanted but Eds had it in stock within 10$ of the online price. Saved close to 300 compared to the price Harley wanted.

Ordered Carb kits, found out the kits did not have the complete parts, canceled the order. Ed said he could not stop the order, I called the supplier in Boise, Idaho. They said the kits could be returned. the salesman was at the shop the day I called. Ed refused to return them, said they would not take them back which is not true. Very rude, hung up on me!!! HE DOES NOT CARE TO DO THE RIGHT THING.

I lived in Spokane all thru the 90s, and our family used to take our cycles to Ed's, never any issues. Then I moved to Colorado from 2001 - 2016 and then moved back to Spokane, and it was nice to see Ed's still in business. I left Spokane with 2 motorcyles and returned with 5, and needed to re-jet some for altitude here. Not only did Ed help with that, but he stayed 1/2 hr after closing for me. It's so awesome that after all this time he is still so damn nice! Nice thing about small towns I guess :). Thank you Ed, A+ customer service! Definitely recommend!

I have gone to this business for many years. Ed is always very helpful and knowledgeable. I have had my Yamaha FJR1300 there twice recently. First for new tires. Ed recommended that I use the same tires that WSP uses on their motorcycles. As always, he was entirely correct. The tires were ordered and I was called when they arrived and an appointment was made. The tires he recommended are the best I have had on the motorcycle. The second time was for a valve adjustment and an upgraded cam chain tensioner. The work was completed on the appointment date and I could not be happier with the work completed by the knowledgeable service tech Kaylee. She was very careful with my motorcycle and didn't even leave a fingerprint on it. I sincerely recommend this business for your motorcycle repairs, parts, and accessories. Great service, reasonable prices, knowledgeable, and friendly. thanks

I go here first for work on my Harley. They do the job for a lot less than the dealership, (stealership) and I've never been unhappy with the work. I've known Ed a long time, and I trust his work. His Son is following in his dad's footsteps too.
