Went to see the ladies there today to get an out of state truck put in my name and after some emails an such they were able to make it happen for me. They took the time to actually read all the paperwork I had and after an email for a certain document that I needed they were able to get the registration and plates I needed to make my truck legal, absolutely made my day, thank you again for taking the time to get that done for me, I really wanted to give the lady that helped me a big ole hug, will definitely be going back for all my vehicle registrations an such from now on

Excellent service. Super fast. And smart people work here. Why anyone would give less than 5 stars is painful. These folks work so hard. Come on folks, let s clean up our reviews.I highly recommend Snohomish Auto Licensing and hope that all my neighbors come here.

When we moved here recently we registered cars, etc at Barbs. Short, to the point, pleasant, proficient, quick in and out. Couldn't ask for more.

Over the past 2 days I have spent about 4 hours at Snohomish Auto Licensing trying to transfer titles of 2 tiny homes that exist on the property we just closed on. Since the trailers were already purchased with the sale of the property, this was considered a gift, yet the seller didn't fill in that portion. So the first day I went in with the titles was just told I needed the seller to fill in the sale price as $0 and the date we closed (date of sale) of the property. No problem, got that taken care of. Next day went back with updated docs showing what they requested. Nope, rejected. What I NOW needed was the year, make and model (all of which were already listed on the title) with an estimated value (even though was a gift) through a "reputable company." What does that even mean? Emmalee was SUPER helpful in trying to go through websites finding the model of the tiny homes with the estimated value listed. However, supervisor, Cindy walked by letting Emmalee know that she doesn't have to do the research on my behalf and that Emmalee was going "above and beyond" doing unnecessary tasks on my behalf. When Emmalee let me know that their computers block certain web pages and that I probably would have better luck finding the information, I asked where I would find the info. She and no one in the office knew. So I took it upon myself to find a tiny home seller up in Mt Vernon who had sold one of the tiny homes to the original owner, got him to write up the estimated value, print it on his letterhead and brought it back to Snohomish Auto Licensing.Supervisor, Cindy, then looked at it and said, "Nope, it needs his signature and the VIN number listed on the document from the tiny home seller in Mt Vernon" that I had *just* driven to and came back from. I asked her why when I was in previously for over an hour no one mentioned this to me and she said, "I don't know what you were or weren't told."TWICE I was in in two days trying to get this dealt with, drove up to Mt Vernon to get the requested paperwork and STILL not good enough. Called tiny home seller, got him to REWRITE the document listing VIN and his signature, email it to Snohomish Auto Licensing, and THEN they could finally process the gifted title transfer. All that for a $70 title transfer.Emmalee was SUPER helpful, and I'm so thankful for her.Cindy was nasty, unhelpful, almost spiteful and absolutely should have let me know EXACTLY what and how it needed to be formatted before I jumped through all these hoops where the goalposts kept getting moved.Just be aware that you need to ask EXACTLY what is needed from a supervisor if you have a unique circumstance you're going in with. That was over 5 hours of my time between 2 days I spent on details that could have just been told to me day 1 and easily solved upon return, but unfortunately that didn't happen. :/ Frustrated by experience and now need a drink.

I very rarely go to Barb's because every time I have the whole experience is awful. Unfortunately due to the fact that Bickford license is closed I had no choice. I waited in line with my son (who is only 7) and my husband for 30 minutes because they are only allowing 4 people in at a time, which with everything going on I understand. We were told to come in with one customer being helped and another filling out paperwork. After being in there for over 5 minutes the lady very rudly said that myself or my son (again only 7) had to stand outside because there were now 5 customers in the building. All 5 of us had been in there for a while already. They are always rude, unprofessional attitude, and act like helping you is an inconvenient task. I will never give them my business again. If I was able to give no stars I would.

The most of ladies are nice. Apparently, new ownership of office. So sad all the headaches if you need to change a title. Charging you for title transfer on a used bike the cost of off the floor brand new cost. Had to remind them to relook at the bill of sale I gave them and redo title transfer. It was $800 dollars less. Recently, wanted me to prove to them that the person who signed a title transfer was the actual person who had the right to sign it away. I guess I lied???? Or I bought from a thief yet the VIN number is clear. Go tell the trustee of an estate to give me his paperwork to prove to them they are the only trustee. Thank God I have a good reputation so the trustee sent me paperwork but to me, Snohomish Auto licensing department is not the police and they don't need to see how much more money can they get in taxes from me. Thanks but no thanks.

I have never had a problem here. Anything that has ever come up, they have resolved. I had a dealership spell my name wrong on my paperwork, and they fixed it. I have overheard people registering all sorts of vehicles, and the folks behind the counter already knew exactly what to do. Fast and easy. It's a tiny building. If it's busy, you will have to wait outside or come back later. They can only do their best. But they ALWAYS do their best. Be kind, they work hard to make everything perfect.

One star, because 0 isn't an option. Rude, short, condescending, mad, angry, nasty, sad, and can't be bothered. I should have got that chick's name so I could put her on blast. If you must use this business, walk in, don't say a word, don't you dare ask a question or else. Just walk in and hand them money. Don't ask for any kind of service in return, or else. Can't believe they are still in business. Did I mention rude, crude, and socially unacceptable?

I have been going to Barbs since I started driving. They used to be polite and fast. Paperwork was a breeze and they were happy to answer any questions. Over the past few years I have had issues here and there. Now their employees expect the customer to come in knowing exactly what they need and are rude and impatient if you ask questions. Bring cash, or be ready to pay their $5 service fee for using your debit card.

Terrible service, the employees here think they're working as detectives for a major crime department. When in fact they simply exist to "process" the private transactions of citizens. I was turned away because she thought my bill of sale had been tampered with. Ridiculous. Told me to drive back out the Moses Lake to redo paperwork with the seller for a $700 vintage motorcycle that doesn't even run. I promptly left and went straight to the North Bend auto licensing center where they processed my transfer with a smile on their face, great service at North Bend, no line to wait, and they even advised I purchase a "classic" license plate, something the Snohomish Office didn't do.Save yourself the hassle and drive out to North Bend.

Nicest people. This morning had the rudest employee over at monroe licensing. And we went over to the snohomish and helped us much more efficient, quicker, and with a smile. Long story short. Don t do your licensing business with monroe make the trip and go to snohomish!!

Quick and simple. Walked in and was quickly helped. The lady helping was very pleasant. I have never had an issue in the almost 10 plus years of getting my vehicles dealt with.

To be honest I just felt bad for the person that helped me. She was clearly new and unfamiliar with how to do the job and every single other person basically refused to help her with my licensing request. The result... I was there for an hour without a single person in line before me for them to then tell me that they can t help me. Complete waste of my time, there needs to be at least some sort of training program before I ever go back.

DO NOT GO HERE. If you need licensing services in Snohomish, do yourself a favor and go to Bickford Ford and the licensing they have inside their building because Barb's has gone WAY downhill. We've lived in Snohomish for almost 4 years now, and when we first moved this place gave great service, and had friendly people working there who bent over backwards to help you out. However, the last 2-3 experiences we've had over the last 6 months have been TRULY AWFUL.Most recently they had to close last minute. When my dad arrived after checking their hours (both on their website and by calling their voicemail message) he approached a woman who seemed to be opening for the day only to be cut off immediately: "If you're here for licensing WE ARE CLOSED." "Well I checked your hours..." "WE POSTED IT." She was extremely rude, and cut him off at every point where he tried to explain that he checked their hours multiple times the day before. After returning home, we checked their website again and I have a screen shot with the time and date showing their their website still as of this morning does not indicate a closure. UNPROFESSIONAL and RUDE. Not to mention, this employee or owner (whoever it was) straight up lied about it being posted in these locations. Whatever happened to a courtesy 24 hours notice for sudden changes like this???This on top of the last time my husband ordered our tabs online, to be picked up at Barb's and then he received an email from them that they were ready to be picked up. He arrived to pick them up and had to spend twice as long because they either hadn't been printed or they had been misfiled and couldn't be found so they had to be reprinted all over again.I'm not sure if they've had new ownership, or new management recently, I can't speak to that...or perhaps they just stopped caring about keeping repeat business...but something has sure changed.

Great service! I went to silver lake licensing as it is closer to my house and they said they couldn't help me with my business needed. I argued because I knew they were wrong. Then gave up and went to Snohomish licensing. They were able to figure out a way to get it done like I thought it was supposed to be. they were super helpful and friendly as well... more than I can say for silver lake.

I am a WA resident stationed in the U.S. Army and I have dealt with Tara on registering and titling three vehicles now. She has been excellent in assisting my wife and I over the phone and in the mail as we live all the way in NC. I trust Tara to take part of any paperwork need that we may have in the future. Excellent service from an excellent establishment.

I absolutely love Barb's Auto License, I know coming in no matter I will receive top notch care, the girls that work there are so fun, laughing, always willing to go above & beyond to help and incredibly knowledgeable. One of the gals is particularly hilarious & makes you leave feeling like you just had a good laugh with an old friend, not to mention her customer service is out of this world. All that to say I will NEVER step foot in that business again until rude short woman is no longer working there, She has to be the most condescending, negative person on record. Every encounter with her has been horrible. This last renewal I had to deal with her, she couldn't even be bother to look up from her lunch to say hi, she looked at her computer screen and growled I can help you here, she made me feel like I was an imposition to her and she just wanted to finish her lunch, to make matters worse in the middle of my renewal she took a call on her personal cell phone, then walked away proceeding to get something out of her purse, once she wrapped up her personal business she came back me, she is the WORST! Bottom line.... barb's is the best, just beware of the witch, she'll make you walk out feeling like the biggest dummy. She must own the business because as an employee I can't imagine any business keeping her around knowing what a jerk she is! Bye for now barbs!

It was Barb's when I went there and it was terrible I needed to license my motorhome and my Nissan. They told me the title on the Nissan was tamperd with. It wasn't. They said I had to get a note from the seller stating that everything was good. I did but then they said the signature's didn't match so finally the seller met me at the licensing office in Smoky point and there were no problems. And the kicker... I never received the title for the motorhome
