I highly recommend them!My family recommended Box K to me and they get all their repairs done there. I went in today to get my front brake pads and rotors changed since it sounded like my brake pads were metal on metal and terrorizing my community. I was expecting to pay around $500 total.I was told that my front and rear brake pads still have 6-8 mm on them before I needed to change them. The issue was that the area needed to be cleaned and that was causing all the noise. The lack of feedback from other companies makes me wonder how many other companies have made unnecessary repairs. I usually expect repair costs to rise after dropping off my car so this was a shock to me.I appreciate the honest feedback and thorough work checking both the front and back brakes. Especially since I was given a $600 quote for a wiring issue by a different local repair company that is no longer in business that another auto repair company fixed for free. Picking the right auto repair shop can save hundreds and I hope this helps someone else out!

John and his crew were amazing. Here from out of town car died had it towed in and they had the issues resolved in a timely manner and at a very low cost. I was worried I was going to have to stay another night and pay an arm and a leg but nope. Appreciate them so much for helping me! Recommend for anyone who needs help in Long Beach, Wa

I am SO impressed with Box K.I was visiting from out of town and my battery needed to be replaced. They didn't have one in stock, but they directed me to someone who did and replaced it for me that day. They were VERY professional AND even washed the car!!!!Reasonably priced too.

Box K has always been very accommodating to my needs. They keep me apprised of the needs of my car but never push anything unneeded. I would recommend them to anyone that truly cares about their vehicle.

Friendly service, washed exterior and cleaned front of interior of vehicle. Dropped me off at home and then picked me up when car was finished. Shop looked clean and organized. Great customer service.work was done on time.

Great auto repair place. Second time I had oil change and service here. They were quick, efficient, and great customer service. Even washed my car.

Well had to get towed in to the shop, but I'm glad it was this one. Service was quick and to the point with no big surprises. Rates are a little high, but reasonable gir what's offered. Staff was very friendly, inside was very neat, clean, and professional. Nice little waiting room, clean restroom, some toys for the kiddos, and of course the usual magazines. They were able to get me in off the tow truck, diagnose the car, and said they could fix it same day. With the way they've treated me I will be more than happy to bring my vehicles back for any services needed.

Back story, I was on vacation on the coast and my truck had a coolant system failure. After calling multiple shops begging for a spot, I called Box K. They didn't have any slot available, but allowed me to bring it in for emergency repairs. Although they were incredibly busy they found time to get my truck in diagnose the problem and fix it. I am very grateful to them as I dropped my truck off on a Monday when they had a 4 week wait time and got it back on a Thursday. The staff was very communicative and empathic towards my situation. To the staff & ownership thank you. I highly recommend Box K to everyone.Services: Auto water leak repair, General repairs & maintenance

We were on the road trip and sadly our van broke down. We then went to Box K the next morning (highly recommended by the locals) and hoping to get the issue fixed.They were so busy with work orders that day and still took us in knowing about our traveling situation.Unfortunately they were not able to fix the van but instead they helped us with something more important so that we could continue with our travel plans.Thank you John for your honest work and top notch service.

One can pay a little less and then pay again to do it right, one one can pay a fair price to do it right the first time. Box K had a reputation for expense, however I give it quite reasonable (albeit my experience is from San Francisco)If one wants their full attention (because they don't overbook or underbid), answers to one's questions (because they have enough staff), and confidence that they took the time to do the job right, Box K is the placeWhen a trailer installation took much longer than they estimated, they took responsibility for their error, and we split the difference

I had a faulty brake switch which the owner when I phoned up to get an appointment newknew exactly what it was so I was very pleased with that. I was also very pleased with the fact when I drove away I noticed how clean my vehicle was. They gave it a complete outside car wash and I think they even did my windshield inside.. Very nice touch. I'm a full time RVeR and I'm out here all the time so my next problem with any vehicle will be brought to them. 6 Star Rating

Box K is a place I can trust! As a single woman sometimes auto places take advantage of someone who doesn't know much about cars but I always feel that Box K does a great job and only does what is needed for my car. Other places I have been to have tried to sell me more services then I needed. Box K also washes your car after service which is always a plus!Service: Oil change

I have never had such a positive experience at a mechanic shop as I did at Box K. They went above and beyond to take care of me as well as my 4-Runner. I have a 1998 4-runner and it needed a long list of maintenance, including replacing one of the rotors, the timing chain, and water pump.Needless to say, they needed to keep it for a couple of days.I had a doctors appointment during that time and they gave me a ride to and from there. They also offered to take me to the grocery store if I needed it and even came to pick me up when they finished the work. Oh, and they washed and vacuumed the vehicle. I couldn't believe it!The 4-runner runs great. They did and excellent job and John and Millie were the best! I think I've found my forever mechanics.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

I have been patiently waiting to hear from them because they were going to find the parts of my Lexus car. Very disappointing to hear today, when I approach them again, that I should take my car for repair, somewhere else. Incredible!I wish you great business!

This is an excellent place for all your automotive needs. They can do any service that your car needs, from oil changes to transmission work. Friendly and affordable company. Have used them for 30 years. They return your car clean and ready to go.

Our old pick up died and we had to tow it in. Of course this happened around 8pm. I called them the next day and told them what happened, sadly it had multiple issues, (mice love eating on rigs not in a garage), they were so kind when presenting us with the estimate to replace everything from a wiper motor to the battery, alternator, drive belt to getting the speedometer fixed which required being sent out. When all was said and done Millie came and picked me up and we had a lovely chat to the shop. I went inside to pay and find out Millie bought the place from the previous owner who did not have a stellar reputation. Not only did the truck start beautifully each and every time they had washed the outside and vacuumed the inside! I am so glad we gave them a go. The people working there are friendly, knowledgeable and bend over backwards to be helpful. Millie herself worked for the previous owner, well she took what she learned and has made a great business that focuses on the customer, she supports and treats her employees well and it certainly shows for their morale and job well done. I highly recommend them and will use them again!

Wonderful experience today at Box K! They did an oil change for my car for the time and price they quoted me. I would like to thank John. He was very kind when it came to trying to repair my car. After about three days he realized that it couldn t be done at his shop we had paid them $1200. And I couldn t believe when we went to get the car to have it towed to Olympia dealership he gave us a check for the money we spent. What a wonderful business,Very honest people. I called while stranded and asked if they could look at my nissan altima. The lady that answered the phone was friendly and empathetic.The store charged me about $140 to do a diagnostic read. And then told me they don't have the ability to work on a nissan engine. I of course had to have it towed to another shop costing another $130.If you can't work on certain vehicles, you should tell your customers that when they ask.

The folks are always courteous, seek to find all the things I'm asking questions about, ask first & give quotes, and open to us doing part of the work. This is one of the few places to take my car where I believe I will be treated fairly and seen as a valued customer. Benefits include an interior vacuuming & free ride back & forth if needed.

As soon as we got into town, my truck broke down. I was able to limp it to Box K Auto Repair. It was a few hours before closing on the Friday of Memorial day weekend. John was kind enough to do what he could to at least give me a clue as to what was going on with my truck. It was very kind of him. Thanks John!

We are from Bellingham and were staying in Surfside leaving on Friday when we realized our van was broken down. We asked at the Worldmark desk where to take it and one person recommended a local shop, but another said they went there, but ended up having to take it to box K anyways so we decided to have it towed there. We arrived at around 1:30 on that Friday and it needed some major work such as both tie-rods being replaced. Millie the owner helped us out and was able to bump some jobs until Monday so we could get home! I picked up the van just before 5pm and Millie left me a message that she wouldn't leave her shop until I arrived so I wouldn't be stranded until Monday (although we do love this area a lot and they are within walking distance of downtown so it wouldn't have been too bad to have to stay the whole weekend). They also offer shuttle service to and from your hotel and will help you arrange accommodations if you need it. They even washed the outside and cleaned the interior! I wish every small town had a shop like this! Thanks for getting us home Mille!Service: General repairs & maintenance

A big shout-out to this company and it's people...First time I've used them since moving out here to the peninsula 5 years ago..Had an issue with my 2003 Dodge ram truck...Brought it into them as scheduled appointment.....While I was there to have the one problem fixed I had them also do an oil change on it...Also ask them to look over the brake system etc since it has nearly 200,000 miles on it and they did just that, plus more...Got a printed out sheet of what they found and what other stuff I might need to look at down the road,.. it was an awesome job they did couldn't have asked for better and the cost was exceptionally good couldn't recommend them more..I'll definitely be going back...

When our car overheated and then died just as we got to our hotel, John was very helpful on the phone,, to calm us in our situation. We called AAA and had the vehicle towed in, where Box K promptly diagnosed the problem and called us early enough in the day to begin to figure out what we would do next. Blown head gasket meant we weren't going to be able to drive it. They lent us a car to allow us to get a meal, and collect our belongings from the hotel, back to our own vehicle where Hills Towing could pick it up and tow it home for us. An unnerving event that could have been a nightmare, but thanks to the help and support from Box K, we managed to get back home, sage and sound, with all our belongings and get our vehicle to our home-town shop. Thanks again John!!

John, Milly and all of the crew are great to work with. Very informative, thorough and efficient. Pricing has always been fair. I have given these folks some repair challenges and they always come through.
