The best mechanics in town. Got my Mercedes fixed here. Didnt know they fix Euro cars. Price was very reasonable and they would take care of the car so well. Will be coming here again. The boss was very nice and showed me all the parts he fixed. This place is legit.

I have been going to Taskar consistently over the past several years and have never had any surprises or complications. Taskar Garage is undoubtedly the best in the area. Their honesty and fairness set them apart, coupled with their remarkable skill, speed, efficiency, and unwavering availability to help. They are a rare gem in the industry, as they are dedicated to genuine service rather than attempting to overcharge anyone. I have had both routine preventive services and also as-needed services and both types of experiences have been exceptionally positive, swift, and successful. Following a recent car accident I was in, they not only were able to quickly triage and fix my engine in less than 5 minutes, but also patched my bumper in a way to allow me to safely drive to a collision shop. I feel they really take care of their customers and experienced this firsthand with their willingness to go above and beyond to help me in a time when I was in need. Taskar Garage's exceptional service truly deserves every bit of a five-star rating.

Had some suspension issues that they quickly assessed diagnosed and fixed. They also pointed out my brakes and rotors were pretty much destroyed from winter mountain driving (and 90k miles). A nice touch was sending over some pics of the issues. And the best part is they are about 3 blocks from my house.

I work at the club next door to this shop, I had just had my car fixed elsewhere and picked it up a couple hours prior to going to work. While it was parked ( my dumb self locked keys in ignition in car ) my car started overheating, leaking fluids and smoking. the man with the dogs came next door to inform me, helped me open my car without busting a window and let me know the issue which something was unplugged . literally came to my savior... they were so cool about everything and really came in clutch. I went to the same mechanic for years due to it being my step dads bestfriend and I now will only ever come here to get work done. they bought my business for life and i now see why they have a 4.8 rating.. you guys really helped a clueless girl out and came in clutch and i'm forever grateful. this shop is amazing and I 20/10 recommend.

Taskar garage is under new management. The Eastern European guy who was such a good mechanic and very scrupulous retired. The last time I brought my car there I didn t know he had retired. When I got my car back it was running worse than before. I asked the new owner to fix whatever he had done wrong and he wanted to charge me again. I wouldn t go back.Service: General repairs & maintenance

This is the best car repair shop that I ve ever been. My car had an electrical fault which nobody was able to find, except Mauricio who did it. After going to different mechanic shops and wasting my time, I found Taskar Garage . Do not hesitate to go if your car gets broken.

What would have been a $13,000.00 job at the dealership I got done for less than $6,000 here.I had Taskar Garage replace my Fort f-150 engine. The dealership was going to charge me almost $7,000 in labor and another nearly $6,000 for the new engine.Maurico suggested a used engine in good condition since my truck already has 130,000 miles on it. I went with his suggestion and the results are great. Engine runs smoothly, has plenty of power.I needed to take it back after the engine was installed because the engine did not have the power I was expecting. He fixed it and got it tuned just right. So now the truck runs great and has plenty of power.

Needed a minor replacement I couldn't do myself, they got it done in less than 30 minutes and about 1/3 what the dealership would have charged. Excellent and courteous.

Great service! We came in thinking our AC compressor, but the technicians, doing their due diligence, turned in, and it was a much simpler fixed. The car AC runs perfectly now! We will definitely be returning to Tasker with any future repair needs!

Great service and fair prices. Really enjoy coming here which is weird to say for a car repair shop. But the owner is a super nice person and he is very knowledgeable about cars. Especially Subarus!

Yo..I should have been notified,(you had my number),of any extra work order change,or cost,other than the 2 front units being installed that were agreed upon on the pnone,& upon my arrival. That was on you,you chose to do that,& I don't believe my abolishment was warranted,or justified.....& you left my sway bar link disconnected, & 2 of 3 dust cover screws left out,& not tightened.Update;Since I had car aligned with the disconected bar,& drove on it for this long,not noticing anything till recently, a weld broke on my rack and pinion,& cv axle seperated. Thanks

Taskar garage replaced the AC compressor on my car a few years ago. The price for the repair was excellent and the new compressor has worked great. The shop forgot to replace the caps for the refrigerant line ports. They also forgot to reinstall a bolt on the bumper that connects the bumper with the plastic trim in the wheel well. They forgot to reinstall several plastic clips that hold the plastic trim pieces in place around the area where they did the work. A bit more attention to detail would be nice. They did the important stuff correctly, so considering the price, I really can t complain.

Great Experience with Taskar Garage starting off 2023. They were fairly busy today (on New Years Day Monday Holiday) but willing to take in our Toyota Highlander for an exhaust system repair. Omar and the team were efficient and came up with a great solution, while I waited. Friendly, honest and great communication - This is the Place To Go for car repair in Ballard, Magnolia and Fremont area.

I was a loyal customer for 10 years + because Taskar was low cost and nearby. However, the last time my side mirror was damaged In a collision. It was replaced with a used part at a fraction of the dealership cost but with one major flaw: the blind spot mirror sensor was gone. I went back twice to ask about it but the mechanic refused to discuss it. I finally consulted the Mazda dealership. Their advice was to ask for a free repair or get a lawyer!

Good mechanic shops are so hard to find so grateful for these guys and gals! I actually live in the Wenatchee valley but after my Subarus engine failed I was having an almost impossible time finding a mechanic that could get me a new engine in a reasonable timeframe (months out for most shops which is a long time to go without a car). A family member had been going here for years and recommended them. Taskars had me a remanufactured engine within a week and coincidentally at the most reasonable price. Totally worth getting my car towed over the mountains for. They did a great job and I just got to test out their handiwork with a two week road trip and the car is working excellently. Thank you Taskars!!

BEST MECHANIC EVER!!!All the time was looking for good mechanic, who would not charge me as my car costs and I finally found him.He was working on my work car - Dodge Grand Caravan 2012, and I was surprised for the quote what I got. I think you ll never find better pricing and quality and the service in the city.Misha is great in communication. The alternator died in Dodge and I had to work the next day. So, he fixed it in the same day when I called. I m so thankful him for it.The team also is great. They are doing almost all the services, what are possible (from oil and filter changes to engine and transmission swaps)If somebody is interested in rebuilding transmission or engine, they have the company with which they are working for 10 years. And as Misha said they do also good priced (rebuilding transmissions around 2000$ with 3 year warranty) and qualifying services.Highly recommend Taskar Garage!!! Definitely will come back there to fix my other cars

Like a breath of fresh air . This shop is fast and fair. The owner Mauricio is an honest good man who is very friendly and very knowledgeable . His employees are very friendly and they are strait shooters. I highly recommend this place if you need some work done.

I've been bringing cars here for a couple of years. They are able to get to my car quickly. They've always been on schedule quick to get my car out. The cost is reasonable.

Th people who own, run and work at Tasker s Garage are A number one in my book!! They went above and beyond to make sure my Volvo was taken care of properly gave her a 165,000 mile check up and maintenance job.. for pennies on the dollar!!It s pretty rare to find a business out there anymore that s not just about the bottom line .. but actually bends over backwards to help the customer and not gouge they re pocket book! And your customer service is fantastic too!!Thank you so much Takar s you stand out like a bright star in the North west and Ballard area!!
