The service tech did a quick turnaround on a flat tire in less than 20 minutes! Got me back on the road like it never happened. Thank you Dan!I've done business here for over 20 years.They are consistently polite and experienced.Will continue to use their services.

got an oil change here before a big trip down to Texas. on our way back we stopped in salt lake city for another oil change and they told us our oil was full and there didn't seem to be a leak, but oil was spilled everywhere all the way to the back of the car and they told us whoever did it last, did a very messy job.on top of that, there service was $40 more than jiffy lube for the same thing. $40 extra for a messy job. Yikes

Very honest shop! They replaced my transmission at a reasonable price and had it done in a timely fashion. I would highly recommend you bring your car here, as this is where I will always go in the future

My car stoped in the middle of the road on Sunday and I was lucky enough to have some good people help me push my car to the side and jump start it for me. We suspected that the battery cables were loose, and they helped me tighten it up to get it moving again. However I couldn t find a mechanic on Sunday until I found this place. Salmon s service center helped me out immediately even though I didn t make any appointments before I walked in. I highly recommend this place, they charged me reasonably and took care of my car in timely manner. Very nice place, I will definitely come back for my future car fixes. Thank you guys for saving my day.

Great service, friendly, knowledgeable. Had a mystery issue that someone else couldn t fix and Tristan was awesome and helped me get to the bottom of it. He was thorough, patient, and hard working. Highly highly recommend him and Salmon.

2001 F150 was dying at intersections. They were able to fit me in on a Saturday morning and by noon they found a collapsed vacuum hose and fixed the problem. It s hard to find a good mechanic. They were direct, honest and efficient. What could you ask for? Norm B.12/23

Last Sunday I called about a pretty urgent issue my car was having. Although they were filled for the day, they took in my car and located the issue just a couple hours later. The car was scheduled to be done on Wednesday, but they finished even earlier. The workers here are efficient, knowledgeable, and kind! Highly recommend!!

Super. This place is solid. It was James with whom I talked, got given very detailed assessment of why my car had stopped working. Straight forward thorough didn't-waste-time and a fair price, and every sense that they stand by their work. Also, crew of mechanics working there seemed happy working there... garage nicely set up... Lucky me my car broke down where and when it did (Sunday of a holiday weekend).Update - They did it again. Squeezed me in without appt just to have a quick look/listen (car making a rather strange ominous sound). It was actually a major problem, and they made room for me that day and fixed problem quickly and at an extremely reasonable rate.Service: Transmission repair

The only shop I'll take my cars to, if I can help it. Honest, reliable, affordable, fast turn around...they'll go out of their way to save you money. And you can tell by all the cars they're working on, they have no trouble bringing in customers with this approach. I inherited my grandma's 30 year old Toyota and for obvious reasons it needed a little TLC. Kevin and all the techs here were able to quickly make repairs and have it running smoothly again. Old car, new car...bring it here!

Absolutely fantastic customer service. I brought my car because it was having issues with starting, and they took it for an entire day but didn't charge me because they were unable to identify any issue. I know many other service centers would have charges me $100s for just the diagnostic, and I really appreciated that they were committed to finding a solution and didn't charge me when they couldn't. I will 100% be using them for any future car repair work!Services: Auto battery replacement, Vehicle Inspection, Auto battery maintenance

For those of you that I have referred to Specialty Motors in N. Seattle on 15th Ave NE, you probably want to stop going there. I had taken my vehicles there for over 30 years, but within the past year Dean sold the business and it is now Broad Stroke. Most of the staff has quit due to the new ownership and how they treat their customers and what they charge for repairs.The good news is, one of their best Tech's moved right next door to Salmon's Service Center. I can't say enough good about Tristan and the way he has treated and taken care of us. If you need a repair shop and especially if you have an import, Tristan will take care of you....Services: Transmission, Air & cabin filter replacement, Steering & suspension repair, Auto maintenance, Auto brake replacement, Oil change

Outstanding Customer Service, Integrity, and Transparency.Have you ever worked on a project where everything that could go wrong, went wrong? I was that project for Salmon s. However, at the first sign of trouble, the owner of the Northgate location called me personally. Their lead mechanic overseeing all the locations stepped in for root cause analysis and we talked through our options.The true test of excellent customer service is what happens when something happens to go wrong. I ll take my old car back to Salmon s as I have for a few years. I trust them and recommend them.Service: Engine repair

James is very good with giving information and keeping you updated on the progress of your vehicle as well as helping you to realize and prioritize what needs to be fixed in order to keep you on the road. This is an honest shop! I really appreciate the level of service I received on my 2002 Dodge Ram Truck. When I first was thinking of taking my truck here, I asked one of the cashiers at the chevron near the shop what she thought of it. She said that the shop has been in business for over 20 years, and that she knew they have several loyal customers who have been going there for years. When I did take my truck in for servicing, they were very busy having high volume business due to it being right around the holidays (or maybe just because they're amazing and everyone wants them). I was still able to drop the truck off just before close so that they could take a look at the brakes first thing in the morning. They told me a reasonable quote to get it fixed and how quickly it would take, but that they felt like they would be wrongly taking my money to repair it. They showed me a large number of small problems that could be ignored (many of which I was aware of already), but that there were a few dangerously risky problems needing repair now and more to happen soon that were high dollar expenses - way above saving, even if to just last another year. They provided me a great temporary solution for the brakes in the meantime, gave me suggestions on how to get the most value left from the truck, and even let me hold it there a few days before I was able to come pick it up. They were very professional and very friendly. I have another vehicle soon to be in need of an oil change amongst a few cosmetic repairs I'd like done. I will definitely be taking it here and I recommend the same for anyone else.

My catalytic converter was stolen. They got me in pretty fast to look at it. This was the 3rd place i went for an estimate and they were the best price! from the time i dropped off my car for them to look at it to it being back in my hands was less than 6 hours! i would HIGHLY recommend this place. Workers are nice and they do a great job!Service: Exhaust

I needed an urgent repair and stopped by Saturday afternoon and they were able to accommodate. Forgot their names but I spoke with two young gentlemen and they were very professional. The older of the two (I keep wanting to say his name is Cameron...?) kept updating me on the progress and discuss my options. I know about cars and used to work on them myself when I was younger and less busy, so I know when shops try to sneak one by. But he was very upfront and realistic. My car was ready the next day on Sunday. Honest and competent auto shop that's open 7 days a week? I'll keep coming here as long as I live in the area.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Oil change

The Salmon service center we were at was swamped and could not take a look at our vehicle. They called James at this location and he agreed to take a look and let us know if it was safe to drive home. He was able to help us via phone and got home safe. Will definately use them if ever in the area again!

Best mechanics in town. I used to worry about getting screwed over before I found these guys. I've been taking my car into Tristian for over a year, and it's been incredible to know I have an honest and very capable mechanic. He has saved me from jams many times and I wouldn't take my car anywhere else. 11/10 would recommend.

Took my car here for a brake job replacing the rotors and pads for all 4 wheels in Sep 2020. The price was fair, and the car was ready for pick up the same day. Everything went smooth.3 months later, some of the brakes started to make squealing noises when stopping. I called in and stopped by twice(Had to stop by twice, due to the new year holidays I guess), Floyd and another gentle man took short test rides with me to identify the front brakes were the ones making noises. Floyd was able to order the parts and schedule the replacement in the following couple days. And the final replacement went fast too. The replacement was at NO cost. I didn't hear those noises again on my way home.Although I preferred that i never had to go to the shop multiple times to get the brakes replaced twice, Salmon's shop has proved that they take responsibilities of their work and the parts they supply in a timely manner. And I really appreciated Floyd's help.I would highly recommend this shop to people.Service: Brakes

Previously I gave one star. The initial experience I had over the phone was not good. The young man I talked to was rude and not helpful, as well as almost requiring to wait another 2 weeks for the next appointment. But the actual location was a different story. The young man was not physically where the shop was and the shop employees were fantastic. They were courteous and helpful and the manager James was super helpful and friendly. I trust that when I actually bring my car in tomorrow, he won't overcharge or try to trick me. I would give 5 stars but the kid on the phone was not good.

Best price for AC repair in the area. Techs are communicative and competent. As a mechanic myself, they were willing to listen to me and discuss my issue clearly.They are also super convenient. They can text you instead of calling, and they are co-located with a gas station so you can pick your vehicle up late.

In my opinion, these mechanics are the best in the business. I always feel like they genuinely care about fixing my car without ripping me off. Took my car by one morning to fix a flat. I was out of there in an hour, and it would have been much faster except that I stripped the tire's lug nuts putting the spare tire on and they had to order some new ones from a nearby parts store. They are quick, professional and reasonably priced!

I m blown away & truly impressed with this place!They will go above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied with whatever work is done to your car.They are honest and totally reasonable and I couldn t stress enough how friendly they are and how much they care about their customers! Great service for great price. My Mazda 6 was misfiring and they were able to get me scheduled on the weekend with a days notice! They had the parts I needed (ignition coil) on hand. Been going back for years now with no plans to switch.
