Our 10 year CRV with 68,800 miles was making two kinds of noises. Especially when I started up in morning. Phillip diagnosed and changed oil and fixed it. Car runs smooth now. Very reasonable charge. Quick service! We will bring our cars here in future and tell all our friends.

The team at Rose Street it first class. They are very responsibly priced and thorough. I've taken my vehicals there for many years. He once saved me over a $1000 after I took my vehicle to another place and was quoted 900 to 1200 on a scam repair job. Rose st was honest and fixed my vehical for less that $200. I highly recommend them for honest, quality work at more than fair prices. I'll never go anyplace else again.

Great friendly shop. I got my rotors, pads, calipers and brake flush done here for a very reasonable price. Originally I was going to change out my my rotors and pads myself so I had ordered the parts already. But when I realized I needed to change my calipers too, I decided to just bring it into a shop to get done. So I called around to a few places to get estimates. Some shops wouldn't allow you to bring in your own parts and some did. Here I was allowed to, so I ordered calipers as well. The price I got here for labor and parts that I bought were still hundreds cheaper than the other shops. Finished the job in like 4 hours I wanna say. And they did a good job. Didn't try to upsell me or anything. Just went straight to work. I would highly recommend this shop, I for sure will be going back for future repairs or maintenance.

Excellent Auto Repair Shop In South Seattle!I was looking for a mechanic to help me diagnose and fix issues I was having with my car. I chose Rose Street Auto due to the good reviews on Google and decided to get a check up for my slightly older car. Fast forwarding two and a half years later (and many repairs) and I have been a very satisfied customer!Philip and his team have been a pleasure to work with. He is very knowledgeable about cars and is honest with his findings. His quotes and prices are reasonable and makes recommendations only for the well-being of the owner and their vehicle.Overall, I highly recommend Rose Street Auto for their excellent service, reasonable prices, and friendly customer service. Will continue to be a customer and extremely satisfied with all of their work!

Phillip is terrific. Very very cordial and responsive. He was able to get my car in, diagnosed and repaired in a day. I highly recommend this business. I called yesterday morning to see how soon i could get my car checked out . He told me to bring it in today at 9:30 this morning and i had my car back this afternoon. It is running beautifully!!!

Echoing what others have said in reviews, Phillip is the honest mechanic you always try to find. He has provided consistent, reasonably priced service to both of my families vehicles for a year now. He works with me each time to discuss diagnosis and what I can do myself and what I want him to do. He provides the honest, practical advice around cost and maintainence you would get from a handy family member. He doesn't push services, I never feel pressured when talking to him. I plan on him taking care of my cars for a long time

Great service , good prices but wonderful Owner! I feel like its hard to trust a mechanic but i trust Rose Street to help keep your car going! They work on most makes and models big jobs or small , great for an oil change or to pass emissions . Just call ahead and make an appt. and Phillip will treat you right!!

A while back I had a 1986 Toyota MR2 that needed work and had a hard time finding a trustworthy garage. Rose Street Auto Repair specializes in foreign vehicles. They were able to do the job and offer me the best price. Very professional and curtious staff!

I dropped off my Jeep with a turn signal issue. I ended up calling around for prices for a electronic diagnostics. These guys were the cheapest but I noticed they had stellar reviews so I decided to give them a shot. Super honest mechanics and professional service earned my business for years to come. I recieved my car before the end of day where as a place like firestone told me they had 3 a day wait.

Phillip is honest and very trustworthy. His employee Sony is also great to work with as the environment is all about getting things done that actually need it. I love that they are honest about what is necessary and what can wait til a later date. We bring all of our cars to him.

My car s alternator failed luckily not far from Phillip s shop. For a very fair price Phillip had the car back up and running the next day. What could ve been a huge headache turned out to be a quick, affordable, stress free fix thanks to Rose Street Auto.

Philip is fair and honest. I brought my truck in to diagnose/fix the engine light, after Rose Street guys did a super job on an engine swap for a friend. $80 diagnostic, $20 to replace a stripped/broken bolt on one of my coil packs, and he told me to go buy a new gas cap because the one they sold me at Autozone was the wrong one. My truck runs better than when I bought it. I WILL NEVER GO TO MEINEKE EVER AGAIN . they always seemed to go over the original estimate by about $200. And last visit they charged me for a tow, didn't even read the codes, and wanted $2600 to swap in an as-is used motor. I told Phil at Rose Street that I need a mechanic I can trust. I WILL COME BACK TO ROSE HILL FOR ALL MY MAINTENANCE AND REPAIRS. Thank you, guys!

I compared prices around town and he was the most trustworthy (and least expensive) with changing my brakes. Other customers in the shop had many good things to say about him; I was in good hands. I would definitely recommend this to others.

(READ THE ENTIRE REVIEW)I am a certified tech I graduated from Universal Technical Institute in Phoenix Arizona in 2001 I work as a diesel tech and have been for over 15 years I have the money but I do not have the time to repair my own vehicle so I took my car to Rose Street Auto for a new heater core they told me the problem was not the heater core but that I had a bad water pump and radiator and they would do the repairs for $1,600 (this is a lie) I put a new water pump in the vehicle less than a year ago and the radiator has never shown any signs of failure I took my vehicle to Rose Street auto because I used to live three blocks away on 48th and Rose Street and my father would always take his vehicle to this company when it was under different ownership I do not recommend you take your vehicle to this company( okay I posted this ad about Rose Street auto more than a month ago in that time I replace the water pump radiator and I bypass the rear heater core all at the suggestion of the tech at Rose Street my vehicle instantly started to blow heat it did still leak water from the front heater core I used a very expensive heater core specific stop leak product that I got from my local auto parts store and I have been driving the vehicle every since absolutely no problems I take back almost everything I said about Rose Street Auto I asked for their forgiveness if my post had any negative impact on them or their business I apologize even with all my years of experience I was wrong and. (ROSE STREET AUTO WAS RIGHT)

Okay. When I got my windsheild washers repaired, they don't work the same way. Kinda bugs me because I paid $400. Now I am having trouble wth the ignition and I think it might have been caused by him repairing stuff on the steering wheel. I am not sure I will go back.

Had our starter fail Saturday am, called these guys and quoted a fair price. It took longer for AAA to tow it there, then it did for them to fix it. I would not hesitate to use them again.
