I had been looking for a reliable shop to reupholster my seats on my motorcycle and I am glad I chose Rich's. Initially the seat they made was beautiful, but a little different than what I was looking for. I called them back, told them what I thought and without hesitation they got me back in and fixed my seat. It turned out perfectly and I can ride for now for hours. I can't thank or recommend them enough for all your upholstery needs. Thanks guys!

The carpet in the trunk of my Toyota Camry got absolutely filthy and I wasn't sure what could be done other than completely replacing it. Moe at Rich's Custom Upholstery was great! He took a look at the carpet, found an in-kind replacement and gave me a quote within a matter of minutes, but then also gave me great advice on how I could tackle the project myself in easily attainable steps. He saved me hundreds of dollars and a lot of wasted time looking around - just doing the right thing for someone who was out of his depths. I really appreciate the honest dealing!

I want to give Moe and the Techs at Rich's big props for the help with my Triumph Spitfire I'm fixing up. I needed to do a little carpet work and a set of new door cards. I'm doing the work myself and Moe was able to come up with the perfect materials that were leftovers from other projects, this kept the costs well within my budget. I'll be back and send others to Rich's.Thanks again Moe!!

When real people are doing what comes natural, what is borne of this: total satisfaction. The owner Moe has a bit of carnival barker but this guy is all business and he is on the side of fairness and justice. He also happens to run the place. And it runs like a Swiss watch. Order-> Deliver-> Approve-> Install, and that part of the process took 4 hours. When's the last time that happened.

The interior on my 2000 BMW M5 was in terrible shape. There was a tear in the driver's seat and the sun had left most of the interior leather cracked and faded. Rich's Custom Upholstery replaced the torn driver's seat panel and then restored all of the damaged leather to nearly new-looking condition (much better than had expected given the original condition). Their estimates were accurate, the work was done perfectly on schedule and the people there are great to work with. Definitely recommended!Service: Upholstery repair

My wife and I came to Rich's Custom Upholstery to get help with an older vehicle with tired upholstery and flooring. We've been reaching out to other vendors to address other issues such as curtains (it's a campervan!), electronics and body work. I suppose everyone is trying to get service from these vendors with different approaches. What we cared about most was quality work and materials - getting the results we wanted. We took delivery of our van from Rich's on March 4 this year. Since then, we've been shaking down the van, including the newly reupholstered seats and floor coverings. We think the fit and finish has turned out very well and is primarily why we give a 5 star rating.Moe is the proprietor and we think April was maybe his daughter working in the office. While Moe takes his work seriously and is a busy guy, he was open to answering questions and giving us the time we needed.We requested flooring material that was more plush than the existing flooring. The implications for fit and finish with drawers and doors on the cabinet and bench bed base was probably the largest source of anxiety for us. I know Moe had to disassemble the bench to get the fit and finish right. After two plus months of use, we are happy with full access to the drawers and cabinets.The seating upholstery has shown no signs of stretching or twisting. The heated seats Moe added are invisible in the upholstery fit. The material quality was a definite uptick from what we had before.We did have for us what was a minor flaw at delivery time. Dust from the job and being in the shop (we're guessing here!) covered the dash. Someone had started to clean it off with a rag, but hadn't finished - about half done. The owner helped me put up the top on my 65 Mustang. I had the top down all summer and couldn't get the top latched. He was very nice and educated me as to why you need to put the top up every day after having it down. He didn't charge me. I definitely recommend Rich's Custom upholstery!

Awesome upholstery shop!!!! I bought a cover for my ATV seat from Amazon and tried to install it myself, but the cover didn't fit. Rich's was able to modify the seat cover to fit and made it look amazing! Brought my car in after ripping my car seat. Not only does it look good as new, they got the car in and out super fast. The whole crew is friendly and made the process a breeze, communicating with me every step of the way. 100% would come back.

Rich's custom upholstery has the nicest staff and did a great job reupholstering the bench in my hyundai elantra! My car got broken into and the leather bench seat had holes from broken glass. Rich's dealt with Statefarm and fought for me so Statefarm would cover the whole bill so I wouldn't have to. Elysia answered all my calls and called Statefarm many times for me! They replaced the leather bench quickly and it looks brand new!

Asked them to help chop down a triple factory Mercedes Sprinter bench seat into a double. Safety was a priority as the intent was to use a child car seat while recouping some space in the van.Great communication and expert craftsmanship. Looks and works like a factory build. Easy to work with and will definitely be doing business with them again for some motorcycle projects I have on the backburner.Service: Seat rebuilds

Back in July 2019, I used Rich's to work on seats that came with a 2006 Mazda Miata I had bought in May 2019. I was *not* going to live with the black vinyl seats that came with the car! Working with Moe, I picked out a good-quality, attractive fabric. Moe also suggested that new foam be added to the seats while the coverings were being replaced. The final result was great! The new seats are *so* much more comfortable, and the firmness and support from the new foam have been greatly appreciated. Sixteen months later, I'm still very happy with the upgrade to the seats! A *big* improvement. And the price that Moe quoted me was quite fair.Service: Seat rebuilds

This review is overdue from 2015: Watch out for Moe, older gentleman wearing fancy glasses apparently the owner. I brought in a Buick Apollo 1973 to get work done on the dashboard, headliner, carpet, among several other things. They claimed they would take of the car and keep it covered, one time when I showed up to get check in, the car was outside completely covered in bird poop. Not only did they cheat me out of thousands of dollars as the work was overpriced, but at the end they said they forgot to add tax to the quote. Things like the headliner and other work started falling apart less than a year later. This place is a real scam, do yourself a favor and go to a reputable shop.

I've had my Tacoma for 22 years. The driver seat was in poor condition, uncomfortable, torn fabric, with stuffing coming out. I was BEYOND thrilled when I got my truck back, saw the durable fabric I had picked out, and sat on it for the 1st time. They rebuilt the seat, and the job looked superb! I don't remember it EVER being this comfortable. Even though the rest of the cab is in good condition, I plan to have the other seat done, and the interior redone in the same fabric at some point. I used Rich s years ago on the first car I ever owned. I had forgotten what a great job they do. I purchased a used BMW M3 convertible last week in California. Mechanically, so far, the car is perfect but the drivers seat showed the typical wear these cars always seem to have. They repaired the drivers seat and dyed all of the leather that showed wear due to exposure to the sun. The interior looks brand new. They also completed a couple of other repairs at no charge. Moe and his team worked hard switching the cloth seats to leather in our 2017 Ford Expedition. Even though it took longer than expected (three rows of seats) they were committed to do a good job. It turned out great!I appreciate the friendly service and reasonable prices. Moe recommended to add heated seats which makes the SUV feel more luxurious. I would highly recommend their services.

I am very surprised by the poor ratings of this business as I could not be happier with their amazingly quick and flawless repair as well as the customer service! Sure, Mo is blunt and to the point, but he's hilarious so lighten up people! I called on a Wednesday evening and reported that I had bent the metal frame in the pull down center console/cup holder so that it could no longer move up and down. I believe I spoke with Mark, who said they would need to take a look at it and to bring my vehicle by, which I did the following morning. I was greeted warmly and recognized as having called the evening before. Mo immediately came outside to look at the damage and indicated they could work on it (which involved removing the leather covering) and told me that they have it done by the end of the day, if I were able to leave the car. I said that I would call a co-worker and see if she could pick me up and Mo asked where I worked and mentioned he might be able to take me. Thankfully I work nearby and he kindly gave me a ride to work! Talk about going above and beyond! Not only did Mo take me to work, but also completely resolved my problem and for less than $200!!! The Ford dealer told me it would be over $1,000!!! Highly recommend this place!!!

Excellent work, highly recommended.I needed the driver's seat in my 1999 Maxima with leather seats repaired. I heard about Rich's from an auto body repair shop that I respected. At first I was a little concerned because the people behind the desk like to joke around a lot. But once we settled down to business they displayed thorough knowledge of what was needed and the materials involved.They are very busy and my appointment was scheduled nearly a month later than when I signed up. I was told it would only take a day. On the scheduled day I showed up on time, the tech said it would be done by the end of the day and they delivered as promised. The workmanship is excellent. The redone seat is a perfect match for the original on the passenger side down to the type of stitching used. The cost was exactly as estimated. And the seat heaters seem to work better than when I brought it in.Again, excellent work. Highly recommended. Happy Camper here.

You absolutely cannot do better. We are huge fans of Rich's and it's staff. Their work and craftsmanship is wonderful and their prices very fair. We brought our car in for leak testing, ready to have to junk it, and Moe said to "hold on," he'd take a look at it. One week later], totally fixed ..and it was not an easy fix.But the real value of Rich's is that it is an old fashioned business, owned and run by the staff behind the counter. They take great pride in the quality of their work and stand behind every minute of of their labors.This is a great business and I cannot recommend them highly enough.C. BiggerSeattle, WA.

This review is actually long overdue, but Rich and his team did my bike seat back in 2002-2003 sometime, shortly before I rode to Sturgis that year. Also put a custom skin on it with stitched flames, matching the style of the flames in my paint work back then. I still have the seat (& bike), and it has been a joy to ride on long and short rides alike. Kudos for a job very well done!

The team work there is out standing first class Rich work with me in making my seat fit me perfectly. Along with his team of great workers and with much patients they did there magic in fitting the seat to me. Needed a new interior on my VW and these guys seemed good on the phone but were lying to just get me in the door. Working with them was a nightmare especially the lead, Mo, working behind the counter. Their price was attractive but at the end of it my head liner was damaged during the install. If everything had gone fine maybe I give them a 3 star but when things go wrong their true colors show the lead was quick to shout and you'll wish you had gone somewhere else. I paid just so I didn't have to talk to them again. I did not like my interaction with Mo at all.

Mo was completely unethical and unprofessional with us. He raised his voice the moment he walked up to us, piled the job we dropped off beside the door on the floor, threw several hysterical fits, and repeatedly discriminated against the type of work my business partner does, saying there was no way they only had one table in their office, and no way they could see the number of patients they see. After paying upfront and requesting the job be finished at a specific date, no communication that the project would be late or that the shop was experiencing problems was received. Finally, we were told we could pick the table up 3 days after it was due to be finished, causing my business partner to rearrange their work schedule, which was booked several weeks out. While Kelsey verbally apologized several times, Mo refused to financially repair the damage, stating he had included a discount which my partner was never informed of prior, and that the table looked perfect. Never in my life have I been screamed out of a shop by a patronizing, unstable, and completely unprofessional business owner, who was completely unwilling to be accountable for a late job and lack of communication. While everyone has bad days, or weeks, or months, it was not our responsibility to take care of Mo's bad attitude, or to provide condolences that he was unable to effectively communicate or finish a job on time. I can't IMAGINE using my bad week as an excuse for unfinished work, late work, or taking my anger out on a patient, or paying customer of any kind. I would be fired immediately for reacting the way Mo did. After several discriminatory comments regarding my business partner's assumed gender and professional life, we left, with Kelsey running after us outside to apologize in place of Mo. No follow up call, as promised, was received. There is no excuse to behave the way Mo behaved and we are still in disbelief.

This owner "Moe" will quote you one price then then has a higher total when you go to pick up your car. He kept my car many months longer than when he said when it would be ready.
