Wow. My wife and I only have great things to say about Moe s. We found it through Google Reviews, and wanted to add our own review to the mix to let people know this is a hidden gem of a small business. We first took our car in two months ago after urgently needing to get a tire patched. It was close by, we were desperate, and they said they could help when we called. They took us right away, and got our car back to us quickly so we could pick up our daughter from preschool. We knew we were overdue for new brakes, so we headed back the following month, and they took care of us again. The new brakes squeaked a little bit, but they were very accommodating and told us to bring it by and they d take a another look to make sure everything was right. (The problem went away just as they predicted before we had to bring it back in.) We appreciate that they stood by their work though and welcomed us to bring it back if we had any concerns.Their prices aligned with what research predicted we should expect to pay, so we were very happy with the repair bills. But more importantly, they re really understanding of how your life gets turned upside down when your car isn t working right, and they get you back in the driver s seat as quickly and efficiently as possible! We will definitely use Moe s again; we feel very lucky there s an honest auto shop a short drive away.

A bit of a delayed review because I really liked interacting Moe but unfortunately the service here didn't fix the issue I was having with my Element. The problem came back a day after getting my car back and even after taking it back to the shop, they couldn't identify the issue with their devices which wasn't pulling codes from my 2003 element, which was very surprising as I've never hear this before. Ended up taking my element to another shop nearby and repaid ~$400 to get the issue fixed. 2 stars because Moe seems like a good guy but $400 down the drain and unfortunately wasn't able to resolve my car issue potentially due to outdated or malfunctioning device?

I can t speak highly enough of Moe s. I ve been taking my Saab there for the past few years, and each time I have been met with kindness and transparency. He always communicates well and I ve never once felt like any shady activity was going on, which is rare with mechanic shops. The work is always efficient, and the shop is definitely worth a visit.

I have been taking my cars to Moe's for ten years. At 80, I know just enough about internal combustion engines to know that Moe is a pretty clever mechanic. We have had our contretemps over the years but he is a heluva nice guy and I think he honestly tries to do the best by your car and you. Yes, he is not averse to using used parts but you would not be taking your car to an independent shop if it were a new vehicle. Used cars depend on used parts. The other day I took my Subaru in with a bad radiator and he had it repaired the same day. Today, I take my Saab in with shifter problems and he says come back at five. THAT, my friends is good service.

I m not sure if it s because I m a younger female, but he charged me 200+ for an oil change. I was patiently waiting for a call back and I called back a couple days later to find out my car was already fixed.

I've used Moe's three times so far, on two vehicles. The staff are personable, responsive, and super experienced. I was especially pleased because they were willing to work with me to do an overall vehicle review to identify what maintenance work they would recommend. We then worked together to compare their recommendations with a similar report I got from the dealer; Moe's was straightforward with me about which items really should get done vs. those that the dealer was just trying to upsell me on. We did have one time when they made a mistake during a repair which ended up causing damage to one of our vehicles; however, they immediately admitted the mistake, repaired the damage free of charge, and offered a discounted quote for some planned future work. I trust Moe's and I intend to use them for all my future maintenance and repair needs.Services: Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance

Great service! I just needed a flay tire fixed and Les Schwabb told me it would be 5 days before they could get me in. Moe's had an appointment available same day and had my flat fixed in less that a few hours.

They fit me in on short notice with an emergency on a Saturday. Quick diagnosis and repair with fair pricing. Mechanics were polite and professional. I will definitely use Moe s for all service in the future!

Absolutely horrible place to take your car. I would give them 0 stars if I could. Fixed my cars using used parts and charged me for brand new ones. Quoted me for a certain amount and the. When it came to paying charged me significant more than the quote without telling. Parts failed after couple months thats when I discovered they are used. Called back to get my receipt to get proof didn t want to give it to me or proof where they bought the part. Started cursing and getting mad because I caught them. I will be taking them to court. If you don t want to get scammed, cheated or treated with horrible customer service I suggest you don t go here.Service: Auto maintenance

I'm giving 5 stars. The work was done well, and very quickly! However, I emailed about how much some work would be and was told $300. Imagine my surprise when I went to pay and saw $650+, and they didn't mention this in the call to describe the work. The 5 stars is because both Moe and his colleague at the front desk were super kind about it, knocked it to $500, and described specifically the costs. Seems like an honest misunderstanding, but I gotta be honest, I have no clue how much stuff costs. I'm not sure what I could have done differently besides affirmatively ask for an estimate at the call, but since they didn't mention a price change I just assumed it was what I was emailed. Anyways, 5 stars, everyone on review sites needs to be reasonable and understand stuff happens and be cool about it. They both were and I hope I was too. Will for sure go back.

Took my car in for a pre purchase inspection before I bought a truck. Mo was able to squeeze me in last minute. Provided me with a solid inspection report. Whole process was smooth and profession. Mo and his coworkers were very friendly. Highly recommend.

Moe s Automotive is an extremely honest mechanic. He only charges for the work that was done and often provides an estimate but charges less if it was an easier job than expected. He is accommodating to diverse schedules. He sits down with the customer to discuss the symptoms of a problem and will explain different ways to try fixing it, never displaying over-confidence in his ideas for fixing it. He makes recommendations always speaking from experience specific to the make and model of the car. I appreciate his honesty and will continue to take my car to him for many years to come.

Do NOT come to this place. Horrible technician I bring the car to replace the fuel pump; the pump check valve is a hard plastic. This lousy technician certainly can not remove from the nozzle, so he cut my feed line and attached to a rubber hose, and that creates the leak also engine code showed up.

Took my 2000 Blazer to Moe's due to a busted seal on the front right axle and issues with the tie rod causing the car to pull hard to the left. I was quoted for $400 which seemed reasonable. The next day I got a call from Moe saying it would be a good idea to replace some rusty ball joints for an extra $160. He made a good case so I said yes. A few days later when I paid the total came to $709. Even after tax this was about $100 more than I expected. After reviewing the bill I found a few parts that were necessary for the repair but not included in the quote, I believe they were new seals for the tie rod. Minus 1 star for a bad quote.Immediately after getting my car back I noticed weird behavior in my brakes. At low speeds my anti-locks would kick on if I braked even moderately hard (still very far from a skid, typical braking for a stop sign or crosswalk). No one at the shop had mentioned anything about this. Not sure if they knew about it and didn't want to appear at fault or if they never drove the car after the repair. Minus 2 stars for causing a new issue with my car.On the bright side my car does not pull to the left anymore.

Mo is the most genuine and honest person I know. I came to Mo after VW dealership misdiagnosed my car three times and charged me an egregious amount of money. I had to tow my car from VW to my home. After hearing about Mo, I towed my car to his shop and he and his team fixed my car from the smallest to the largest fixes with the most reasonable price ever! I will recommend his service every single day for anything because he is so good at what he does. He is always smiling and he has a can do attitude with a realistic view! My father who lives in South Carolina who is always skeptical of everyone but truly adores Mo and thinks of him so often! That s saying something! Thank you Mo for being so awesome and always taking care of your customers with honesty and truly a smile!

On a Saturday I was searching for a shop that could put a new tire on my car's rim. Most places were too busy, then I happened upon Moe's. Not only did they make time for me, they were polite and friendly the whole time. Professional work, the pricing was right, and I left feeling good. I highly recommend paying Moe's a visit.

Absolute nightmare of a repair experience. We brought our 2009 Mini Cooper to this facility based on the reviews we read on line. Our Mini had developed an overheating problem while sitting in traffic and the heater had stopped working so we took it to Moe to have the thermostat changed. We thought while it was there that we would have some maintenance done (minor tune-up, belt, etc.). We dropped the car off Monday morning and Moe said we could pick our car up that evening. When we dropped the car off we left a note describing the items we wanted to address including resetting the maintenance reminder and running a computer scan. Monday came and went and no-one called us, when we called to check the status we were told there were problems and he did not know what the bill would be. Teusday came and still no call to advise us of our car's disposition. Again a call to Moe and he was still having some sort of problem only now we would owe him for a water pump pulley. We had asked Moe to call us and aprise us of any further repairs that needed to be done so we could address them at that time, again no status update. Finally we called and Moe said the car was ready and that we could pick it up. When we went to get the car the first thing we noticed was the left front tire was flat, and on the bill it stated that no diagnostics had been done only parts had been changed. When I asked why he replied that we never asked him to do that. He started to tell us how hard of a job it was and how much "extra" time he had to spend completing what should have been a simple repair. Upon starting the car it immediately made a terrible noise and was running very rough. We live only blocks from Moe's and the car barely made it home and now will not idle and has a terrible knocking noise. When we called Moe he made excuses about how difficult a job it was. The bottom line is we paid this guy $500 to fix our car (and were willing to pay more) and he actually made it worse. Maybe he is good with SAAB cars, but do not take a BMW or Mini to this guy for repairs.

I've had an 2014 Allroad, a 2006 Silverado, and more recently my 2018 Grand Cherokee in for various repairs. Most recently, I was certain a squeal in one of my wheels was the brakes needing new pads. I also needed an oil change. After requesting both, I got a call saying my brakes were fine and the oil change was done. The squeak was gone when I got the car back, so perhaps it was nothing to begin with. Each time, Moe has had my car done on time and for a reasonable price. A mechanic who calls to say a requested repair doesn't need to be done is one that will get repeat business from me.Services: Electrical repair, General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

Moe s was great!! I thought it was my alternator; they came to my house to jumpstart my car. I drove my car and dropped it at Mow s shop. Within two hours Moe called telling it was fixed, and it was only the battery! Great service, I would totally recommend him! Thanks Moe!!Service: BatteryService: Battery

Shady business. As an employee, I was lied to, belittled, and payed less than minimum wage. I witnessed countless customers over paying and upset by what was said vs what the bill came out to be. Moe is a nice guy at the surface, but in reality just wants all your money. I get that to an extent, but I'm not about to buy something from someone I don't trust. Buy a better car than the ones that constantly break down! That's the only ones they claim to "specialize" in. And if you have a Saab, take it to a Firestone or jiffy lube! They do honest work and that's worth more than money.

I have to jump on and defend Moe a bit.A couple of years ago, he repaired my Saab within 48 hours (a part had to be shipped to him overnight) at a lower cost than he had originally quoted me due to the labor not taking as long.Moe deserves more than the 3.5 stars he is currently rated at.I am not sure what went wrong with the unfortunate situation with a previous reviewer's Mini, but that is the only 1 star review that is valid imho... Of the other two, one is a guy that had a difference of opinion with Moe over when a tune-up is necessary and the other was some stooge that *thinks* they saw a hazardous waste product being poured into a storm drain and left 1 star because they deduced from this assumption that Moe's is killing all of the cute little fuzzy animals and basically are worse than Hitler and 9/11 combined. In neither of those cases, you'll notice, the 1 star review had nothing to do with the quality of the work done by Moe and team.

No hustle, no hassle. These guys were great! The hose for my engine coolant had cracked and all the coolant had leaked out. My car was towed to the shop on Monday, the problem was diagnosed, a new hose was ordered, the old hose was replaced, and I was able to drive my car off their lot on Tuesday.

We have been dealing with Moe's Automotive for ten years and have purchased our last three vehicles from them. We haven't found it necessary to even consider looking for another dealership. They do all the right things.

I've known Moe since 2001. I buy all my cars from him. He is the only one who I trust He's honest and that's hard to find. I highly recommend his place to anyone regardless of what car you drive.
