I have nothing but praise for Eion s Automative. My 1990 VW Westy - Della - has been challenged with a host of electrical challenges going back 2 years. I ve burned through 2 main batteries and 3 AUX batteries never being able to isolate the problem. That is until I took it to Eion s - and then the frustration ended.He found ALL of the vampire draws - the result of a faulty radio, failing isolator & combiner, and weirdest AUX/Radio wiring seen by man. He pulled everything apart and completely rewired every single circuit, testing as he went. The resulting harness and how he did it is a work of art - and I m an engineer who REALLY appreciates how he did this. He also went after smaller stuff that has been nagging at me, and got those cleaned up.Simply amazing and awesome - VERY highly recommended!!!Services: Electrical repair, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Auto engine tuning, Engine repair, Brakes, Battery, Oil change

Eion and his crew are extremely experienced and dedicated to the vanagon platform. I've been going to him since 2011, with half a dozen van upgrades and repairs. From camper tops to engine swaps. He and his crew are great. Un a couple weeks, my van goes in for a AC Install in a non AC 84 Westly

These guys keep my stress level down. Complete knowledge in any area regarding Vanagons, VW and Automotive repair in general. This is the shop you want to take your beloved Vanagon, or car too. I've literally been coming here for years for any problem I may have and these guys save me time and money.

Eion's is the best! I've taken my Vanagon here since '16 and have only gotten superior customer service and exceptional mechanical work. They do not quit until both them and the customer are completely satisfied. Eion has always gone above and beyond for us, and can be assured that we will always choose Eion's Automotive for all of our future Vanagon needs!

Eion is absolutely the best mechanic I have ever worked with. He has always been extremely fair and has provided lots of work without charging. I wish that all businesses operated with the integrity that Eion's Automotive does. If you have a VW, this is the place. I have never written an online review before, but feel obliged due to the superior service I have received over the past 10 years.

My first experience with Eion Automotive and have nothing but praise. I had a loud, reverberating noise at high rpms and have had two other mechanics look at it. Eoin diagnosed the issue right away - he also provided a lot more details around some other issues and helped me prioritize them accordingly. Simply put - if you have a vanagon, this is your shop. Period.

Eion's is amazing. I brought my van there upon a reccomendation from a long time Vanagon owner. I'm a girl in my early twenties, and a first time van/VW owner, so I was wary of either getting talked down to or ripped off. But Carson who handles calls and the front desk does the complete opposite. He always takes care to explain things thoroughly, ask and answer questions, and even has saved parts and taken pictures for me.On the first visit, they took the time to write a detailed list of repairs they would reccomend and in what order of priority based on their observation of the van and the records I got with the van upon purchase.Over the last year and a half they've done all the work. They are happy to fix little annoying things along the way like loose mirrors and aawonky license plate too.Everyone is friendly, communicative, and they all sure as hell know what they're doing.Much love to Eion's.

When the old waterboxer in our 1991 Vanagon finally kicked the bucket, Eion and his shop did an outstanding and meticulous job installing a Subaru 2.5 engine that now has us falling in love with the van all over again. He was a real pleasure to work with, kind, transparent, and a clear communicator. Fixed a lot of extra small annoyances and didn't charge us for them. 10/10 would engine swap again.

Eion is an incredible mechanic and business owner. His knowledge of volkswagen cars is incredible. Especially the VW Vanagon. I've known him for at least 7 years and he has never let me know. I would recommend in a heartbeat.

I have been coming to Eion for my Westy for more than 3 years now. I've always been delighted with the quality of the work, depth of knowledge and the service. Most important, whenever a change I asked him to make hit a snag (a part broke or didn't perform as advertised), Eion stood by his work and promptly fixed the problem. I wish his garage many prosperous years ahead, so I can keep relying on him for my all Westy needs!

Eion is super friendly. I stopped by to get some advice on how to evaluate a VW I was going to purchase and he gave me tons of information. Would absolutely use as my shop once I get a VW.

Had my Vanagon suspension redone. Now it drives like a regular car. No more swaying down the freeway. The people there are friendly and take time to explain things.
