1. They meet and exceed expectations.2. Priced right, and you don't need a coupon in hand to get a fair price.3. They are customer focused in a very tough business and always deliver my car and F350 like it is new again4. Five stars .. been using them for years.Just returned after 7 months in the desert. The F350 was a huge mess. Once again, Derek and the team did a solid 5-star job! They also, as a courtesy, cleaned my super dirty long-bed. Derek gets the job done, and my F350 looks like new! Awesome job!

They did a decent enough job. On the surface it looks very clean. But they did not really take time with the details. There appears to be dried cleaning solution and droplets across my dash and the windows were not fully cleaned and they're still dirt in the corners and cracks of the car on the exterior. I got a Groupon. I would have been very angry to have paid full price for what I've gotten. I don't regret going but I will not be back.

I was referred to Dereks Auto Details by my friend who has been regular customer. Hence I had great expectations. I appreciate that the service was quick and turnaround time was fast . Had I paid $75-100 for this� service , I would probably be satisfied and felt value for my money. When I spent $200, I was expecting a better service. #6 talk about thorough interior cleaning but it wasn't what provided to me.Services: Auto detailing, Auto interior vacuuming

Unfortunately, my review will be of the buyer beware kind. I used Derek s years ago and had great results. This time in 2022, I brought in a Mini Cooper to be cleaned in preparation to sell and got back a damaged left rear bumper. The body of car was in perfect condition before detailing. No dents or scratches. No one came to look over car with me before they drove it to back of garage to detail or after they brought car around front after finished, just left keys in office, so I don t know how or when damage occurred. But Derek denied knowing anything; argued they were blameless; and left me with the expense of a repair. Lesson: trust no one; check car inside and out with employee before handing over the keys and when keys are returned!!!Service: Auto detailing

WOW! I could not be happier with the service I received at Derek s. I brought my car in for detailing. My backseat, where my two pups (including a German shepherd mix) frequently sit with wet/ muddy paws, looks new. They even got some yellow paint off the outside!

This experience was a scam and I was honestly confused when I picked the car up. For $125 my detail was extremely unacceptable. They vacuumed the car, but there was plenty of debris left including pieces of leaves in plain view when I picked it up. The side compartment of my door also clearly hadn't been touched as there was still a gum wrapper. Plenty of dirt left throughout that could have easily been wiped away, not sure why it wasn't touched at all. I reached out to the owner twice afterwards to try to reach a resolution and was ignored.Service: Auto detailing

Derek s auto detail was the absolute best experience I have ever had with an auto detailed. My car was in pretty rough shape and when I went to pick it up, both the interior and exterior were like brand new. I am so impressed with both there details services and customer experience. A huge shout out to Jay and Miguel! They did an absolutely amazing job. I will be coming back and I suggest you come too

Not the cleanest in the details. Was the car washed? Yes. Was it vacuumed? Yes. I purchased on Groupon for a small RAV4 SUV. Nothing fancy. All I wanted was a detail.They missed some of the most obvious spots. Steering wheel, knobs on the radio, door scuffs, grime on the wheels. I had to cleaned it myself. I thought these guys were good and the cost was worth it after a total of $200+ due to the additional cost to shampoo.The car is better than when I brought it in but it wasn t cleaned to the details.

These guys did a fantastic job! A lot of negative reviews for this spot seem to be people coming from Groupon who did not read the fine print. I used the Groupon deal and added the option of a shampoo (+$80) and my sweet Jeep came out looking like she did the day I drove her off the lot. Awesome customer service, fair pricing and great work. Thank you Derek and Fam.

Quick, kind service from Derek's. Personally, I'm an avid outdoors person so was mostly looking for a solid cleaning at a reasonable price and I found that here. If you're looking for every nook and cranny to be spotless expect to pay more or go somewhere else with higher levels of detailing service. Is every spec of dust removed? No. But it's pretty dang clean. They were even upfront about what exactly to expect (shop vac will get most of it but there might be a couple of pine needles left suck in the cracks) before I even handed over my keys. If you similarly have a car that just needs a good vacuum, wipe down of the cup holders and dash, and a quick window and exterior clean for a reasonable price, I'd certainly recommend Derek's.

Derek s auto detail place attempted to scam me demanding extra $26 fee paid in cash on top of already fully prepaid service. Original appointment was scheduled for 1.5-2 hours and when I arrived in time they said they need at least 3. Reception person was rude, refused to introduce himself and kept demanding cash. I made sure to contact Groupon to make sure they take their listing down so that other people won t be scammed.Stay away.

I had a simple experience with my conventional oil change for my Honda Civic. Staff were nice, they got me in right away and it was done in less than 45mins. Very happy and hope to come back for future services.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of visiting Derek's Auto Detail and Hand Car Wash, and I must say it was a total waste of time and money. I paid a hefty $125 for their so-called "car detailing" service, but what I received was nothing more than a basic carwash with a half-hearted attempt at cleaning the interior.Firstly, the exterior wash was just mediocre at best. They used basic soap and some water, and that's about it. It looked like a rushed job, and they didn't bother to pay attention to the more delicate areas of the car. There were still dirt spots and visible residue left on the seats, which was incredibly frustrating.Speaking of the interior, their "detailing" effort was laughable. They boasted about vacuuming with a shop-vac, but it was as if they had no idea how to use it properly. The console got a half-hearted wipe, leaving behind plenty of dust and grime. I had to go back home and rewash my car and vacuum the interior myself to get it to a decent state.When I brought up the missed areas and complained about the quality of their work, their response was completely disrespectful. Instead of apologizing and attempting to rectify their mistakes, they had the audacity to claim they were "proud" of their cleaning job. Clearly, their standards are shockingly low, and they have no intention of providing a satisfactory service.The worst part is that they charged a premium price for such a shoddy job. $125 for a basic carwash and a haphazard interior cleaning with minimal effort is an absolute rip-off. I could have gotten a much better result from a regular car wash at a fraction of the price.In conclusion, I would strongly advise everyone to steer clear of Derek's Auto Detail and Hand Car Wash. Their service is subpar, their work is careless, and their attitude towards customers is beyond disrespectful. Save your hard-earned money and go elsewhere for a proper car detailing service that actually delivers on what they promise. This was a huge disappointment, and I will not be returning.

I purchased a Groupon Voucher a few months back after reading all the amazing reviews about Derek's Auto Detail. I took my Lexus SUV in today to have it detailed so I could take pictures of it and get it ready to sell online. I drove it home and proceeded to take pictures. After the exterior pictures were taken I moved on to the interior and that's when I noticed the damage above the glove compartment. A chunk of the plastic was missing. I emailed them right away and here is what the response was:Tue, Jan 9, 2018 at 3:05 PMMe: To whom it may concern,I brought my Lexus SUV in today to get detailed so that I can take pictures to sell my vehicle. When I proceeded to take pics of the interior I noticed a chunk of plastic missing on the dash (I have attached a picture for you to view). Or alternatively, do an inspection with them right there and then. My mistake was not to do either of these things. Also, I should have read the most recent reviews as there are a lot of negative things about this place. I'm not sure what could have changed from the time I read all the great reviews on Yelp to now.

We came here for an oil change based on a recommendation from Groupon. Note: there was an extra tax/fee in the shop for ~$9.Positives: they were very fast once I walked in. (M-F 8am-3:30pm)Challenges: We never got a hold of them via phone calls - so we took the recommendation from other reviews and walked in.

Outstanding. My old Toyota's paint was very chalky and perhaps had never been polished. I had been looking for the right fit detailing company for awhile. Stopped by to check them out and it was easy to make an appointment.Car looks brand new. Marco is very talented and everyone was helpful.Nice people. Lots of options. Just be sure to clarify which service you want ahead of time.I'll definitely be back for upkeep!Services: Full body wash, Auto detailing, Auto interior vacuuming, Car waxing

When I picked up my car from Derek's after an interior + exterior detail, one of my front windshield washer nozzles was snapped clean off of the supply hose, so that when I tried to spray washer fluid on the windshield, it just dribbled into the engine compartment instead. It was most definitely not broken when I dropped it off.When I called back the next day, the immediate response from the manager before I had even finished my sentence was "that wasn't us." They clearly have a blanket policy of refusing to accept any responsibility for damage they've caused. So, don't take your car here, I guess is what I'm saying.

Very disappointed in Derek's disregard of taking care of the customer. Took our brand new car there, and when I picked it up there was a part broken. They claimed they hadn't touched it, but told me I could email a photo of the part and they would order it and install it. I did what they asked but they never responded to my email or my many calls. Eventually after many months of not hearing back from them I had to have the part replaced by a different shop. I brought the car back recently, with the receipt for the repair, hoping they would at least be decent enough to subtract that cost from my next detail. Their response? "You should have emailed us a photo of the part and we would have taken care of it." Which of course is exactly what I had done but they ignored me. I had been taking my car and my wife's there for about 10 years, but no more.

After seeing some of the reviews I was a bit skeptical, but had a Groupon. The guys here did an insanely phenomenal job that WAY exceeded my expectations.I have a big, furry dog that I drove around in a regular basis and my vehicle was full of dog hair, mud, dirt, etc. How they got every speck of dog hair out of the carpets is beyond me. Will be back.Services: Full body wash, Seat shampooing, Auto interior vacuuming

Horrible service. The car is still visibly dirty after they supposedly cleaned it. Simple dirt on glass wasn't removed. Dust in door frame wasn't removed. Paid for interior shampoo and the carpets were no different than when I brought the car in. They charged me taxes even though I already paid taxes on the Groupon. Hilarious scam business. Save your money and go somewhere where they'll actually clean your car.Services: Full body wash, Seat shampooing

Car looks like new after an interior shampoo and exterior wax! The staff was friendly and communicated well and did a great job from booking the appointment to washing and waxing the car. We will be back!

My car really needed a cleaning and getting the car cleaned has been in my task list for way too long. They did an AMAZING jog and my car looked brand new inside given I haven't had it cleaned in several years. They fit me in within 24 hours and drop off was easy.

I purchased my service through Groupon and definitely felt like I got a good deal. They were quick to reply to emails and phone calls and were friendly. I chose to get interior cleaning done and was very satisfied with their work. I m a busy person so I just simply don t have the time or energy to vacuum/wipe down every inch of my car. Derek s auto did the job in a timely manner and I would recommend this place to anyone who s interested a good clean.

If I could give 0 stars, I think that would be a better rating for this place.So, I ordered a Groupon to have a car detailing. I also asked for a shampoo of the car interior, which was outside of the Groupon and an extra charge. I made an appointment for today to drop off my car.When I went inside to hand over the Groupon and keys to the car, I noticed a hand-written sign on the counter saying there was a 3.5% surcharge for use of a card. I asked if that was credit cards only and was told by the owner that it was for ALL cards. I then informed him that it was against Washington State law to charge a credit card fee on debit cards because the merchant does not pay a fee to the bank nor to the credit card company. I said that I wouldn't pay that fee. He insisted that the fee would be charged on any card, to which I said that I would sue him to recover my money.Then, he cancelled my appointment, told me to take back my Groupon coupon, and that he didn't want my business.So, beware folks. Know the law and your consumer rights. Don't allow merchants to screw you like this guy is doing. Washington State does not allow a credit card fee to be charged on debit cards. Derek's Auto Detail is breaking the law! Take your business elsewhere.

Overall, did a good job. My car wasn't super dirty to begin but I was aiming to get a good vacuuming and shine up. I'm rating a 4/5 because there was still a bunch of coffee smudge in the cup holder and for a detailer that's pretty obvious thing to miss. I easily finished the job when I got home with soap and water. I appreciated the timeliness of getting me in and the customer service.

I just took my car in for a Groupon car detailing and added a shampoo, and my car looks great! They were easy, friendly, and professional. I love that they do reminder calls to confirm. Would absolutely recommend.

I was a little skeptical of Derek s after reading the reviews but I had already purchased my Groupon. They did an excellent job cleaning my car as it has been two years since it s been detailed, including a cross-country move. It They even took the time to check for any additional smudges in need of cleaning while I was getting my keys and gave me time and space to check for myself as well. I ll be coming here again!
