Our ML350 needed a major repair that turned out not to be straightforward. Best had given us an estimate, but it was high enough that we sought a second opinion. Got the same estimate and diagnosis from another shop. We chose to go with Best. The repair took a while due to confusion with which parts (manufacturing year had split suppliers). Even though it took much more work, they honored their original estimate. They even fixed a couple other small items for free. We will take our car there again in the future.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Exceptional service!I happened to have car issues with my 2000 Mercedes northbound Hwy 99, and had to pull over arund the OakTree market. The Best Service and Repair, happened to by on the side street I pulled and as my car was smoking and fuming, it seemed that I had no other option. I left the car parked and went in to speak with the owner, his name is George. Although busy he left what he was doing and came to take a look. He could have taken advantage of the situation and give me a dishonest quote, but he did not. The part need was $60 with the labor on top, it was a totalof a few hundred dollars. I was on my way within 2 hours. I went to that store 2 more times: with my wife's car and my oldest son's car, and everytime the repair was done correctly and in time. I found my mechanic! Now only if my doctor was as proficient!

These guys did good work on my car and they are reliable, not unnecessarily expensive, which can be hard to find. I definitely will go back and I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone who s looking.

My 2008 BMW broke down on the weekend around Northgate with engine overheat warning. I was looking for nearby auto shops while waiting for the tow truck and decided to go with Best Service and Repair based on the great reviews, which I am really glad I made the right decision.I dropped by first thing in the morning and delighted to find out from the woman owner that diagnosis is free. They worked on the car the same day and kept great communication on each step with detail cost breakdown. They took it out for multiple test drive and make sure all codes were clear properly, and also contacted the dealer to find out additional information over the recalls that has been done on the car.Thank you Ilona and the mechanics there. I will definitely be back for services here in the future, along with my other European car to this hidden gem!

This shop offered the best price for timing chain service on bmw N26 engine. In addition to changing the timing chain they also changed high pressure fuel pump and did valve cover replacement with gaskets. The final repair cost was the same as the estimate they gave after diagnostics, they charged no extra money. After the repair the car runs great. Highly recommend these guys, they can do proper complex repairs for very reasonable prices.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

There's a good reason they have such high ratings. The Check Engine light on my 15-year old Mercedes came on. I phoned a couple of Mercedes "specialist" garages in Lake City who would only look at the car two weeks out. I called Best Service and Illona asked me to come in that afternoon. They ran the diagnostic, showed me the results, and I got the car fixed the next day (new spark plugs). The whole crew come across as transparent and trustworthy.Services: Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Oil change

Amazing garage for European cars. Reasonable pricing and trustworthy. After being a repeat customer for 2-3 years, I had a transmission issue they could not fix and diagnose specifically and were nice enough to not charge me and refer me to the VW dealership and a contact they had there. Really great service.

Never ever ever bring your car here! Many years have passed since the owner sabotaged my beloved 71 bus and then broke promises to make good on their terrible work. Some pain never goes away. Save yourself some money and go just about anywhere else.

Ilona and her crew are the best in the city. My Porsche Cayenne T had a major issue with stuttering and hesitation. I thought it would be fuel pump or filter, but Best diagnosed correctly a bad PCV valve for the turbos. They did the diagnosis, the hard work, and the test to ensure that it was running properly, and it is working better now than ever. Top notch service. A+++Service: Auto engine diagnostic

My BMW 550i died on the freeway and my wife and I were able to get it home. I called Best Service first thing in the morning after reading their reviews online, and they we able to get my car in right away and got the alternator changed out the same day. And a few hours earlier than I expected. Very nice and professional, I would highly recommend doing business with them.Services: Electrical repair, Battery

A charming and quaint-sized shop off Aurora Avenue.Great customer service, clean area, and the office manager was very kind. They gave me a reasonable price to check and fix my VW without including a diagnosis fee on my vehicle (based on my particular situation). They gave me advice on vehicle maintenance and what to expect and I really appreciated it. I felt a genuine care of service better than most larger shops I've experienced. Will definitely return in the future.

I plan on coming here again after they just fixed my accord. Came in for an appt thinking I had an oil pan leak but it turns out it was just a power steering fluid leak. They fixed up my car right away and I was very happy with results. They also gave me a first time customer discount. My w211 runs like new after visiting this shop. Ilorna advice was to the point. Their prices are so affordable and they are honest. I don't want to visit there but will definitely go if I have a breakdown.

These folks are amazing. My truck's anti-theft alarm went off, making it so I was unable to start it (because it thought it was stolen). Turns out it was the fuel filter and pump needed replacing. I was quoted $1,500 to fix it at the Chevy dealership. After calling around a few places, I found Best Service & Repair. They quoted me $700 (that's $200 less than the rest of the shops I had called). I had my truck towed to their location and they informed me that it would be ready to pick up the next day. I got a call back 3 hours later, informing me that they were able to get it all fixed and running and I could come grab it same day!Elona and her staff were all smiles, incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. I will never take my truck anywhere else to get worked on and continue to recommend all of my friends and family to their establishment. Thanks again for getting me back on the road!

I have been trusting my '03 Passat to the this team for over 4 years now and couldn't imagine taking my car anywhere else. I don t know how to start. Trust or not, this is my first ever written review in my life. First thing first, if you have a car problem, VISIT this shop and you can trust on me on this one. I would really want to recommend even if you are far from here too. I would love to spend my uber money on this shop absolutely anytime and anywhere. They are great, very honest, very reliable, and very responsible of what they are doing. I could write a whole essay how good they are. I called them, i got check engine light, and Ilona working whose working in front told me to come right away since their dignostics are FREE. I went both dealer shop and here, the result came out the same. Dealer charged me $2250 and they charged me $780 for everything with an additional pct valve replacement. They wont give you any pressures on anything. They will give you the choice or the heads up for very honest suggestions. I woudlnt be writing this spending lots of time, but they deserve and worth it. I went there the next day I picked up the car since I had a oil pressure light on. I called them, they asked me to come rightaway. They will look it out right away despite of what they are doing since they are just so responsible. He realized my engine oil was low, so he topped it off for free of charge. Unbelievable. I wouldve love to pay the charge but they refused. They also told me if theres still another problem, asked me to come anytime. I was so happy and satisfied so much and glad I found this store. I will bring anyone I know to this shop without hesitation. Theres no benefit of writing reviews, but Im just too happy and thankful to them. They are the best even spending a lot for uber. It was such an uncomfortable feeling not knowing what was wrong with my car and not being familiar with any mechanics in the City... I am truly thankful for their honestly and professionalism. I thought my engine was shot and needed to be rebuilt/replaced... turns out I needed a new ignition cord and spark plugs, thousands of dollars difference. I nearly cried when she told me what the diagnostics said. So thankful for them. If I ever need a mechanic in the future or have friends/relative ask me where to go, I will totally recommend Best Service and Repair, hands down! The go-to auto shop in the city!

This shop provided the best experience I've ever had while getting work done on my car. I went there for some suspension problems and after describing my issues they quickly found out the problem, pointed out and explained what was causing the problem and got to work repairing it. They have a nice waiting room with a computer and loaner cars for those who need them. After they had fixed the problem I was shocked and excited as to how little I had to pay for their service. I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone who needs work done on their car.

After reading the five-star reviews, I decided to bring my 2004 BMW 330Ci in to have the oil pan gasket replaced. After replacing the oil pan gasket which includes an oil change, they noticed a leaking Vanos hose and called me before replacing it. They were more than happy to show me the old parts and even lifted up the car so I could take a look at their handy work underneath. The mechanics are experienced and have been working on European vehicles for many years. I highly recommend this place.

I am so lucky I found this place! I had several issues but the main was a leaky gasket...the owner and one of her mechanics came in on the day after thanksgiving and worked all day on my vehicle! They're the only place I know of that offers a free diagnosis and the owner was very honest with me and told me what needed to be fixed immediately and what could wait. I am truly so thankful to them for going above and beyond in customer service!

As a small business owner, i really appreciate the Honesty and Integrity which Best Service & Repair stands for. Although they have been in business for 30 years , i have been a very happy customer with them since 2004 . The verity of work they perform , definitely sets them apart from most of mechanic shops.Here is a list of work that has been done , Upgraded clutch and suspension on my 2003 BMW M5 E39electrical diagnosis , on my 1988 BMW M3 E30 , and all the factory recommended maintenance on my wife's 2010 Mercedes Benz C300 .I highly recommend Best Service to all of my family and friends and business associates , and i would recommend them to any one who needs any type of work done on their car.Five easy ways to describe them ?1-Honest2-Reliable3-knowledgeable4-Punctual5-Competitive $ prices
