I have always been impressed by the service and transparency with Sound Care Auto. They recently helped my son with a pre purchase inspection when he was buying a used car. They found several things to note and we were then able to make informed decisions on the purchase. We are a customer for life!

Full disclosure, I have not taken my car here yet. My car had a leak and mold issue. The representative I spoke with gave me good advice, honest appraisal, and a stern position on abating the mold before his crew would work on the car. I was pleased to see a business looking out for the health of the people doing the work. When my car is ready, I will gladly take it here.

Shockingly unprofessional and dishonorable shop. Had son s vehicle towed to this facility for warranty work.Not only did the facility have an accident resulting in significant body damage but then proceeded to replace body parts without authorization (they are not a body shop).I can only described our family s interactions with Jeff as petulant and dishonest, as he attempted to intimidate and bully via email and meet him in person and observe his tiny stature. For example, after damaging the vehicle, Jeff demanded that my wife appear in person to pay the diagnostic bill of $173 (I physically went and paid) and he further demanded that the vehicle be removed from their premises in less than 12 hours or they would have it impounded. The vehicle has only been at the shop for 5 business days total since it was originally delivered for the repairs they agreed to perform. Absolutely the strangest and worst service event of my adult life.This entire situation would not have been a big deal had it been handled professionally. However, it has become shockingly crazy/bizarre with my family having had to contact the SeaTac Police Department who visited/investigated and finally provided us with the shop s liability insurance information and police report regarding the physical damage Sound Auto Care caused.I have only scratched the service on the events surrounding our experience over this last week with Sound Auto Care but I can only say I would NOT recommend this shop for anything unless you re interested in self inflicted pain and time suck.

I just purchased a 2011 Volvo XC60 from a private seller and wanted to have the car thoroughly looked at and diagnosed. Our service person Jeff gave me a rundown of what they offer and recommend to get done first before any service repairs if any. He was very informative and upfront and kind. Once I got the full report, they made a list of what's important to service immediately and what can be done with time, that gave me the ease and peace of mind that I made a great purchase and what things I needed to tackle right away. Overall the experience has been great and I will be returning for all my Volvo needs! I also plan on bringing in my Honda CRV for something.

The folks at Sound Auto Care were able to take me on with short notice and provided the best communication I've ever experienced throughout the process. A previous shop advised a full engine replacement, but their diagnostic efforts meant we only needed two relatively minor repairs/replacements to get me back on the road.They've just become my preferred shop.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

I have been coming to see Penny and Luis for over 10 years and it is always a pleasure. Penny greets me at the counter by name and with the big smile and reviews the work to be completed then I get an email/text with a review of what we talked about. No matter if it is a big job or just an oil change I have great confidence That the work will be done well, and the car delivered as promised. I really appreciated the communication and advice from Jeff. He worked hard to keep in the loop and did not pull me along on any strings! Would be a 5 star rating but I did not get word when my car was done, easy mess up as they were working with other clients.Thankful to have a running car and to have felt cared about the whole time. Sound Auto did a great job. They keep you in the loop start to finish and tell you why repairs are needing to be done or whether certain repairs are getting close to needing done. I would highly recommend them. I went here for a pre purchase inspection on a corvette.The report was detailed with pictures and everything was explained to me. They found many issues to help negotiate the price down.Jeff and the tech were very patient and nice with me, these are car guys that know their stuff.I've had better service here than pretty much anywhere else.Fully recommend, 10/10.

Needed two things: an explicit assessment of the AC issues my Honda Fit was experiencing and secondly an assessment of any emergent issues with the FitThey did a very thorough assessment that was more detailed than what the dealer provided. They also carefully documented a number of other issues that I was unaware of.I will use these people in the future rather than the dealer.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto A/C replacement

I will recommend Sound Auto Care to everyone. They provide you with the information so that you can make a knowledgeable decision. The staff was so nice. They finished my repairs at 5pm on a Friday. My first time using them. I had an expensive repair on my 7.3 Ford diesel. Jeff the service rep took time and answered every question over multiple phone calls. Their system is very thorough and although I might have found someone less expensive (maybe not) I felt confident that my dollars were well spent. They use OEM Motorcraft when possible and a lot of my expense was in parts.

The communication and detail were top notch. Jeff and the staff really do care about you and your car. There were no pushy sales tactics, just 100% honest and open communication. The inspection report was so detailed I thought I just got something from a doctors office. Multiple photos (and videos) of my cars issues, with detailed diagnoses and recommendations. Even had a post inspection follow up with Jeff where he explained his thoughts on how to move forward with the fixes. All of this for 25% less than the dealership inspection.Amazing.Service: Vehicle safety inspection

This is my second major service with sound auto care.They are great with documentation of problems and give good options for prioritization.They saved me money on my suspension that I will be doing in the near future, rather than charge me; I ll be getting a kit.I really appreciate their honesty.The service time was extra speedy as well.

Real people answer the phone, Penny and Jeff take time to answer all my questions.Team is very knowledgeable.Good photo documentation and timely text / e-mails of progress.Even when I have called from out of town with an issue, they give helpful info and located an approved service shop in the local area. My check engine light came on and my car started shaking. Something didn t seem right. I called Sound Auto Care and they were able to get me an appointment in 5 days! I got my car towed home and waited for my appointment to come around. I came in, Penny at the front desk was amazing, and was able to let me know that they would do an inspection of the whole car, work on the immediate issues to get done with my approval, have a list of items that I may need to keep an eye on in the future, and things that were doing just fine. One of my spark plugs was damaged and they suggested I also get all of the spark plug wires replaced. They checked my whole car from head to toe! Whatever program they are using to keep customers updated about their vehicles, is awesome! I got texts sent to my phone with updates and a link to take a look at the entire inspection along with photos of my car for proof of what they looked at. I m severely impressed! I even showed my partner and she was impressed as well! There was a small mistake made when it came to payment, but Penny made everything right once she caught the mistake! Great experience overall. The team was quick to diagnose a problem I had with road noise coming from what sounded like a bearing or something. They isolated the issue, provided repair options and got to work. The repairs were made in the time they estimated and the price was fair and within expectations. I own an older Mercedes c300 with a few issues, and this is the second time Jeff has taken care of me. Sound Auto Care has shown both times that they do exactly what an OEM Mercedes tech would without the crazy pricing. A few things that stood out:- they match my schedule. If you can't pick up before closing you can pay online and pick up after hours- there's no sales pressure, Jeff was very open with what he would recommend be fixed immediately, in the near future, and what may be cosmetic or currently not an issue. They are honest, very detailed, very good pricing and fast. They also go the extra mile to do things very clean and reduce contact so all is safe. There comprehensive report was very detail, and when they said some thing was broken, they had a little video to show it. I will definitely go back when needed.Updated: I a few more issues with my car and they worked with me to priorities the repairs. I give them 5 stars platinum because of the simple mater of trust.
