I recently had my van repaired at International Auto Repair. I needed an alternator and tow. Manny quoted me a fair price and had my van fixed the same day at the same price!Manny's garage was the cleanest most well kept garage I ever saw.He was courteous and professional and I will be bringing my van back if needed.

Not focus on helping customer, only money. rude, untrustworthy and costly. They charged me $260 for the labor to rear brake replacement and I find out a damage on my car. Instead of cut out the drum part, damaged my car, and said nothing about it. I don t need any excuse for this Mr. Unprofessional and cheater.

I had driven to the Seattle area from Portland for a quick one-night stay, and over the course of the trip, a concerning mystery issue with my Honda Fit became much worse, to the point that I didn't feel comfortable driving home to Portland without getting it fixed. I called International the morning I needed to drive home, first thing in the morning, unsure if I'd even be able to get in at any mechanic on such last minute notice. Manny had me bring it in, and since he knew I was trying to get home that day, he worked quickly to diagnose the problem (I desperately needed new tires, and new brake rotors and pads). Despite them being VERY busy with a constant stream of customers, my car was fixed and ready to go within 3 hours of my arrival. I paid a very fair price and was treated with respect and kindness, two things I don't always experience as a woman at the mechanic. I'm so grateful for Manny and his team -- they really saved me.The only downside to the experience was the lack of a useable restroom -- challenging when you're waiting for a long time and don't have a car to use to go find one.Services: Tires, Brakes

Honest and very fair with prices. Manny and his crew helped me get my car running right . I had very little money and he helped me anyway knowing my situation. I appreciate these guys for doing a great job fixing my car even working two hours past closing to get my car done. You guys are awesome and I will always be grateful to you all .

I had my Prius hybrid battery "refurbished" here. It's been two years, and it still seems to be working well. It was definitely the best, economical option and Manny was very thorough explaining the process. Compared to a new battery the price felt fair.

I ve taken my 16yo car to the dealership and another reputable mechanic and got a quote to fix my catalytic converter. i stalled fixing it for a year because it was so expensive. i happened upon Manny s International Auto Repair when a fellow driver saw my tire at a stoplight and said i needed some air. Manny s staff was so friendly and welcoming in a genuine and sincere manner. I told them about my converter and he said he could do the job for much less. Now (a few months later) I finally brought my car in and it needed shocks and other major work as well. in all, the price i paid in total (and upfront) was nearly the same as the cost for one converter! and he said after this work, i could probably get four or five more years on the car, which was my goal. lastly, while waiting for the inspection of what else needed to be fixed, i watched how Manny treated his staff and customers - he is direct, professional, kind, and efficient. i will be bringing in my car back! i took photos of two cards he received from customers hanging on the wall - they had a similar positive experience!

I don t like to leave negative reviews but they never gave me a receipt after I paid cash for a tune up. I asked for it and they said it would be sent to me and I have yet to receive it.

I never write reviews, but my experience warrants documenting since there are few companies that offer Battery Services for Hybrids; lithium batteries. When I called International Auto Repair they promised to take care of my Prius, and their work was guaranteed, "Manny" sounded so genuine on the phone.So, I had my car towed to them for a battery job he said would be done in a day, but did not get it back for three days. Finally, ready to pay, then one of the mechanics came in the office and told Manny in a foreign language, I did understand, I needed to buy a second smaller battery for an additional few hundred dollars, I accepted without question.Within a week, sitting in rush-hour traffic, my lithium battery went dead again, and once again I had to tow my car to International Auto Repair. I told Manny I had already noticed that my battery was not fully charging; barely half. He said give me a day and again did not get it back for another three days, still barely half.When I went to pick it up, they simply said it is fixed and said if you have to tow it again, they would pay for the tow; that is not a guarantee the work has been completed.I found them way too casual, and a bit unprofessional, and frankly not that trustworthy since my battery still will not fully charge, consistently.Service: Battery

These guys ripped me off, I needed my hybrid battery replaced, and it broke down a week later with the same issue, I will never take my car here again. On top of that they overcharged me and wouldn t offer a refund so I had to pay twice for the same service.Service: BatteryService: Battery

We took our car in to get a diagnostic for knocking sound coming from the engine. We paid close to 100 dollars just to have them listen to the car and not actually look in the engine to pin point what that sound was. All we got was it sounds like its the rod bearings. How can you be 100% sure that's what it is if you don't actually look in the engine? A knocking sound can be a bunch of different things. We will never go to you guys again because of your lack of professionalism and for being a bunch of frauds.

Idk. He didn't seem like he was hearing wat I was saying. He read my screen in the car and just told me wat it said I told him ik. I read it too. But he still wasn't listening. So I left. Personal experience I won't go back. But I appreciate him taking his time out to humor me.

Saved my bacon when I needed it. Was visiting from Portland when someone sawed the catalytic converter right off my Honda Element. This shop got me in same day and had me back on the road to Pdx. I couldn't have asked for better care. If I was local, I'd make them my regular shop.
