First time in today, and customer service was great. Just came in for an oil change, but they took time to do a quick checkup on the vehicle. I ll definitely be giving them a call for future work.

I have been going to Sun Auto Tire & Service when they were known as Good Neighbor. Family owned, knowledgeable, professional. Won't change up unless I move to another city....which is never. Thanks for taking care of my vehicle!

My husband found this place. We've been here a few times and have had great service each time. I have called and they got me in the same day, it was quick and perfect timing. Travis helped me check out and everyone was very professional and very nice We will be here again.

I came in to have my rear brakes inspected, as my brakes were making a squeaking sound. I had them inspected previously by a local mechanic and family friend who saw that the shoes were low, and didn t have time to replace them, but recommended to take the car to a shop to have the work done. Sun Auto then inspected, and recommended to replace the DRUMS, not the shoes, for $500. I argued that that was way too high, as parts online cost as little as $100, and $400 for labor was ridiculous, so they spoke with their manager and got the price down to $220. All they ended up doing was rotating the drums and not fixing the original issue, and still charged me $220. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE, THEY WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU. I also checked online, and they are not only not Better Business Bureau accredited, but they also have a 1/5 rating through them.

I ve been coming to this same tire and auto only with new name but the manager has been there throughout and I ve always had great service and they listened to my concerns and answered my questions. I have had both my Mercedes serviced here and my parents as well. Definitely would recommend them!

Travis was very candid and great with the entire process with my problem child of a vehicle. Arturo was the main technician working on my vehicle, and he was able to remove a lift kit that was causing issues. Thank you!

I arrived at Sun Auto very close to their closing time as I had just gotten a warning that my oil was low and I didn t want to risk anything since I had my wife and son in the car with me. Kyren (sorry if I misspelled your name!) was kind enough to check my car s oil, which was basically all gone, and he filled it. I was ready to pay but he told me it was all good, and it s things like this I never forget. I ll be sure to come back to this place for future paid services even though I live in Federal Way, and I hope anyone reading this also comes to this place. Thank you so much Kyren!

I was referred to Good Neighbor Tire in Renton by my regular mechanic who was completely booked out for 2 weeks when I had some very urgent work come up that needed to be done: new tires and an alignment. In addition, I had a busted rear shock. From the very beginning of my conversation with Good Neighbor, they worked with me and were also able to get me the tires I wanted as well as the after-market shocks of my choice for my car. They were also able to apply their warranty to both the tires AND the after-market shocks.My car is a Genesis Coupe 3.8 Ultimate, which requires some special care. The front tires are a different size than the rear tires. The shocks are very high-end. All in all, I would highly recommend this business as a go to for most of (if not all) of your automotive needs. They'll get it done right the first time and will inspect your car for any issues like it's never been before.5 stars, A+UPDATE 1/8/24: I went here again recently (like I always do) and I keep getting prompted for another review, so I'll add on to my previous review and say "THIS PLACE IS ALL AROUND ONE OF THE BEST PLACES YOU'LL FIND FOR THE OVERALL VALUE & QUALITY WORK THEY DO!"Services: Tires, Steering & suspension repair, Wheel alignment

These guys were nice and professional, however they had my car for an entire business day and had poor communication and misdiagnosed the issue my car had. They took my $165 to diagnose and couldn t accurately locate the issue and told me I likely needed an entirely new transmission. Well, the next day I took it to a transmission shop and within 3 hours i had my car back and all the issue was was a malfunctioning sensor not even related to the transmission. These guys only focus on tires, brakes, and fluid changes, I wouldn t come here again for anything else advertised on their site. Very selective with services they actually want to perform. Wasted money + got poor, false service unfortunately.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

I called in for a last-minute oil change to see if I could drop off my car. They were accommodating and told me to swing right on by! The check-in process was quick and efficient. Conveniently, Boon Boona was just a few blocks down the street so I could wait there and do some work. The generated service report was a nice touch, and I was pleased they didn't push unnecessary services. I was also glad to find out they could service my K&N reuseable oil filter and air filter, whereas other places I called weren't willing to deal with it. I was in and out within two hours without an appointment. Fair pricing, excellent service highly recommend! Thanks, Travis and Kylan for a great experience! I'll be coming back and telling all my friends about this place!

Their sales rep Kylan was very knowledgeable about the repairs needs for my vehicle. He also did a great job keeping me in the loop if they found anything else that was a concern to the shop. As a first time customer with this shop I can promise you I'll be back if I need any other repairs. Oo did I mention their work comes with a warranty. I went for an oil change and the power steering fluid needed to get changed. So I opted for that service and got a bulb replaced that was out for free. As well as they installed the cabin air filter for me that was already in my trunk that I had been meaning to get around to installing myself. The friendly and helpful service made this routine maintenance not feel like some painful experience like others I ve had at other auto shops. Honest work ! Another place recommended me to change my spark plugs for $1200 . But Sun Auto looked up on car fax and told me the spark plugs on my car was already replaced a few years ago. Because I wasn t having misfire , they told me it is not necessary . Saved me $1200 !

misdiagnosed my issue, and i was super skeptical, so i took it to my usual mechanic and ended up wasting a huge chunk of money to still end up with the same problem. this is the second time this location has given me a strictly wrong diagnosis, and i absolutely wouldn t recommend here to anyone. try les schwab or meineke instead.

I was stranded in renton after sliding into a curb they changed my tires and corrected my alligment for exact quoted price which was very decent and fair. They also repacked my spare and left my trunk neat, would 100% recommend, fast and professional, thank you!

Because I rarely have extra funds, I ve always appreciated how (previously Good Neighbor, now Sun Tire and Auto) tell me what absolutely needs to be done for my car to work, and what can wait, and for how long. Travis was a big help and was able to find a cheaper part replacement for me, and they have a pretty good financing option through Snap. I don t feel like they re ever trying to take advantage of a situation, and that s important to me.Service: Engine repair

I'v been a customer for a long time, before their name Affordable tires, S Point tires, Good Neighbor tires...Even I move to a new home...I took a flat tire to there the day before yesterday, when I picked it up the next day but not be done yet, maybe time is nothing for somebody, but for me is a big deal... I have a big family and have 6 SUVsI went back today(Dec 1) for some air, Shane is professional and excellent customer service, I am happy the good feeling comes back, keep up the good work!!!
