If I could give Ryan 15 stars I would. We needed a last min service before a cross country move. Ryan not only fit us in, but was incredibly responsive, attentive, informative and kind. It s rare to find a person with that above and beyond customer service, and just genuinely good, reliable person. Can t recommend enough!!

Ryan got our 2004 Ford F450 running so smooth. Such excellent communication and quality service. Will be bring all vehicle maintenance and repairs to him going forward. It s hard to find a mechanic that you can trust and rely on, that s exactly what you get with Ryan and R&D

Ryan is professional, timely and does a great job. He once delivered my vehicle at midnight after fixing it the entire day as it had so many issues. His customer service is beyond excellent.

So glad we found Ryan. He was efficient, professional, and fairly priced. We had a tight deadline (and a holiday) to work with to get our truck looked at, and he was able to fit us in and found that the more expensive repair we suspected wasn't actually needed, getting us back on the road quickly.

So many well deserved reviews already! Ryan is one of those mechanics that you are so fortunate to come across. He is truly skilled in this line of work and diagnosed my car's problem quickly and prepared a very reasonable bid for the necessary repairs along with an incredible warranty for the proposed work. He respected my concerns for keeping my car clean and safe while it was at his shop. I'd like to keep him a secret and all to myself but he deserves the 5 star review and will be servicing all of my cars in the future. Ryan showed up quickly when visiting my family had a car issue we couldn't quite isolate. It turns out the issue was easily solvable and most importantly was taken care of super quickly in time for folks to make the return drive home safely that weekend. our household couldn't have asked for more friendly, effective, and professional service.

Every auto mechanic in the area was booked out for 3 weeks. I called about 13 auto mechanics including Ryan. He gave me a call back and worked on my car in the same day.Ryan definitely has knowledge about cars. I told him the issues, he understood and explained to me on the spot what the problem could be, and the solution.100% the only place I'm bringing my car for future repairs. Ryan is great!!! I had called to hopefully get some advice with a problem I has having with my Honda and had already had the dealer look at it and give me very bad news with very high priced repairs. After searching google for mechanics and trying to call for some advice, Ryan gave me a call back after he had missed my call. I explained my situation and he recommended doing a deep scan of the TCM to see if that would give any clues as to what the problem might me. He came out to meet me and did the scan for me on his way home for a job. The scan didn t find anything wrong but , Ryan recommended some possible next steps and also some things to mention to the next mechanic that I have scheduled to look at it. Ryan seems extremely knowledgeable and is very kind and helpful. Thanks for helping me out. I very much appreciate it!!!!

Definitely the BEST mechanic we ve ever met. Ryan is very professional & knows exactly what he s doing. After he worked on our vehicle he reached out the following day just to make sure all was well, you don t find that often! He gives you excellent quality at such an affordable price. We ve definitely found our permanent mechanic and are so happy it s Ryan! Keep up the great work!

It was so nice to work with Ryan!! He replaced my entire engine and almost everything else under the hood. He guarantees all of his work and ensured that I got the best engine at the best price. I've gone to Ryan twice now for my Mustang. He's awesome and a bargain compared to nearby shops. That's the advantage of operating out of your house & truck. I'll be back with more cars/trucks, maybe even my RV! Can't recommend Ryan enough!

Man where do I begin, Ryan is freaking AWESOME! This is not only a auto repair shop but a performance shop as well. I was out test driving my project racecar, lost power and had to pull over on the side of the road. I was getting ready to call a tow truck when Ryan happened to be driving by and offered a helping hand. He towed the car to his shop and even gave me a ride home so I wouldn't have to call an Uber. I offered him some $$ for his time and at least for gas, but he didn't accept. The very next day Ryan started diagnosing the problem. I thought that my transmission had went out because it displayed the exact same symptions as I've experience before on another project vehicle. Ryan found out that I actually blew out my rear end! Over the next few days he rebuilt the rear end with meticulous accuracy to ensure everything was perfectly within spec. I was so pleased the his level of professionilism and attention to detail that I hired him for 4-5 additional upgrades that I had planned to do to the car. Ryan saved me about a years worth of work, as I usually work on my car myself. As an ex-technician who takes pride in doing my own work, Ryan is the only other person/shop I would trust to do a job with the same level of accuracy & throughness.

We called Ryan because our Cadillac was overheating. He came to our place and found out immediately it was a leak in our Reservoir. He found another issue while he was out so we had the car towed to his shop and because he is VERY thorough he found a problem that could have put us in danger with driving this car. He fixed it and OMG it runs so smooth. So glad I was able to find someone so good and honest and reliable. Ryan is now my go to mechanic.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

Ryan was very prompt and professional. I called to see what his availability was and he was able to come out almost right away to assess the vehicle. Turned out no repair was actually needed (just needed to remove a stick from the undercarriage of the car). Took him about 15 minutes to lift the car, and look at it. He also did a complementary evaluation on the car as a whole to ensure it was in good working order.We will definitely be going back and will recommend him to anyone who asks.

When I first came to Ryan's shop, I already felt confident that he does great jobs with car repairs. Inside his shop were 2 vehicles, 1 of them was a luxury car that he replaced with a new engine, another luxury cars were parked in front of his shop for repairs. I could tell that Ryan enjoys fixing high-end vehicles but I was very glad that he was patient enough to replace the rear axle, the oil line, and the serpentine belt tensioner of my old work van. The price was very reasonable. I highly recommend him.Services: Transmission, General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

I have been coming to Ryan for years now. I he maintains all of my vehicles. There is a reason why this shop gets so much business. He is a very knowledgeable and gifted Automotive technician.I am the kind of customer who needs to know an exact price when bringing my car to a place for work and Ryan has always done that for me or lets me decide to go further on issues based on priority.I bring my vehicles to him because he has better customer service than my local ford dealership and does a better job. This shop is also ASE certified which goes a long way with me.

I had an issue with my car that was both time sensitive and embarrassing, but Ryan arrived at my home the very same day I contacted him to take care of everything. He worked incredibly fast and was even able to explain to me the right tools to prevent the same incident in the future. I absolutely recommend him.

Ryan fully rebuilt my 1989 mazda b2200 engine. Had it sitting in my backyard for 7 years not running with a blown engine. He never fails to get your car back up on the road in no time. My wife and I have had the best experience having Ryan rebuild my ls1 engine. Best pricing around in the Puget sound. Also had some front end suspension done on my truck and beat all other quotes. His knowledge in automotive is very impressive. Ryan was right there when I needed him and everyone else was closed. Catalytic converter was stolen and Ryan helped me sort a tow to his place and then took care of everything in a timely manner. Car runs better than ever and all was a positive experience. Highly recommended! I ll be going back to him with other cars when things come up.Service: Exhaust

Ryan has been working on all my Allroad since last summer and it all started with changing the oil on my Harley Davidson now I have referred all my friends and family to R&D Autoworks.Its very hard to find a trustworthy mechanic who is honest, delivers in a timely manner, knows his industry beyond measures, and does amazing work.

Wow I would give him 6 stars if I couldFinally somebody that knows what they re doing and cares about the work they doI was quoted $1100 by another shop to repair my check engine light issue and calibrate my speedometerRyan had found a simple sensor that had a bad connection and not a manifold leak issue like the dealer had Quoted meNot to mention he repaired it for free and only charged me .5hrs in labor to calibrate speedometerHe gave me a list of things I need to prioritize as far as repairs goI will never take my vehicles anywhere elsEspecially not the dealer where I have been going for the last 15 yearsHe has saved me over a 1000$ When I gave him a tip he did not want to accept it and told me just to bring my business back to him! I had to literally force him to take a tip from me200miles later no check engine light and my truck runs perfectWay to go Ryan and yes you will get all my business for sure

I have been going to Ryan for a little over a year now. I was struggling to find out what was wrong with my 98 Nissan Altima. He was able to diagnose all of the issues from bad belts, 2 faulty alternators, oil changes, break needs, etc. He is always on time, prices are reasonable & affordable, & he is mobile. If for any reason I am unable to go to his shop, he is willing to come to my location! I m a new big fan of Ryan and his shop. He checked out a truck I wanted to buy from out of state in a jiffy and promptly fixed the things that needed to be fixed to get it on the road safely. He was incredibly easy to work with, responsive, quick, fair, kind. And the shop that he built all himself is amazing. 5 stars to this man, I wish I lived in Renton so I could go to him again!

After getting a ridiculously high quote from a large tire chain, I called R&D for a quote on front/rear brakes. Not only did I get a much more reasonable and fair quote, the voice on the phone was pleasant, patient, and instilled confidence. The job was done the next day. There are not enough amazing things that I can say about the Quality of work that Ryan does. He has worked on 3 of my cars, a nissan altima, buick rendevous, and he poured his blood sweat and tears into rebuilding the motor of my mazda b2200. His prices are beyond fair and his technical skills are impeccable. My favorite thing about Ryan is that he will tell you like it is; he explains the issues he finds in detail, give you the best options, and lets you decide how to go about it. I will take my cars to him from now until forever.

Ryan just did a massive amount of work on my Ford Ecoline 350 van and I am more than satisfied with the quality of the work and his professionalism. He kept me updated about everything and had the work done within the exact time I was told. Keep up the amazing work!!!

Ryan took the time out of his day to come to me and diagnose my car problem. Which is a nice change comparing to all the other shops that wanted us to tow our car to them. He was extremely helping in narrowing down the problems. Oh and if you're a Subaru fan he's that Subie guy!

Best shop in Washington hands down. Ryan helped me with an issue I've been struggling with for two days and he fixed it in 5 minutes. And I called him close to closing time and he was extremely kind and helpful. Never going to any other shop
