Some white guy with curly hair told me my battery and alternator were bad, turns out they were fine, all I needed was a new belt. I ended up disconnecting the battery myself because he recommended I bring it in the store, he told me employees are not allowed to help if the battery is in the trunk, I shut my trunk (first timer) after I disconnected it, which caused a spiral of issues. It honestly seemed like most of the employees were not even trying to help me. But, I am grateful for the experience. Thank you.

I was in O'reilly's location, and I've been purchasing parts here for years for myself and my clients. Today, I purchased an alternator for my 93 Honda Accord, and the guy who sold me the alternator was extremely rude and condescending. I forgot to have the store test my old alternator before buying the new one, and I still wanted to have it tested, but he said, "You already purchased the new alternator!! Why would you want to test the core??!!" I was curious about the condition of my old alternator, and the guy at the counter said that I should've had it tested before buying the new alternator. He also asked me twice if I understood(get) what he was saying, and I just ignored him. I've had the same conversation about my alternator with a different employee, and he told me that I should've had it tested before buying the new one. During the conversation about having my alternator, he shouted, "I'm asking you a question!!" The only thing I did was walk away. I'm not coming back to this particular O'Reilly's location after being condescended, judged, and yelled at.

This place sucks, it's useless, the workers don't help you, they're bitter all day and they serve you badly, and it hasn't happened to me just once, every time I've been there it's the same, I live 3 minutes away and I prefer go to Burien or Benson Hill

Jordan from the store really nice and accomodating. He saved the day when he helped me with my car issue, the car back running in no time.

Some of the staff are great and knowledgeable. But the rest couldn't care less. And that's most of them sadly. I went in to get a couple things and most of the boxes on the shelves were cut open and most of them empty. There were people sitting on the floor ripping them open and putting pipes together, taking up an isle and a half to do so, refusing to move. Staff did nothing. Didn't even care. Also just let people walk out with things, the staff member I spoke with responded to me commenting on the blatant theft with, "people just come in and do what they do." I'm not really sure what the hell is going on in there. There was pretty much just 1 guy on a register stressed about the constant phone calls and 20 people in line. The rest of the staff was just standing around doing nothing to help him. He even asked for help and the response was "what do you want me to do?" And then continued to stand around and watch this guy get slammed. I give 5 stars to the one awesome guy who held down the rush on his own. And 0 to everything else. I can't remember his name, but that one guy made a 1 star (cause I can't do 0) review into a 3. Dude needs a fat raise and a promotion.

These guys were awesome. They did the free diagnostic with the plug-in code finder, and then printed out all the codes, what the repair could possibly be, and printed out the price on any specific part. While I was doing my repair in the parking lot, and yes I was trying to do it myself haha, they had a selection of free hand tools to use, and many of the patrons as well as the employees knew each other by name, and helped me with my repair. Highly recommend!

Terrence is just absolutely wonderful. He s always so helpful and kind whenever I need something from here. Great customer service.Update 5/30/23Eric is also very amazing!!! He happily diagnosed my check engine light and explained what the codes meant. He also explained how to fix it myself. Thanks for saving me money by not having to go to a shop!

Went in to purchase a steering wheel lock, they had several different options to choose from. The staff were friendly and very helpful especially Holly. I will definitely be back

People are friendly but distant. They give the attitude that they really don't care if you get what you need. I go there when I need something simple and can get it myself without their help. If they know the customer they have a completely different attitude. It is very obvious.

Top notch employees! There is a great deal of knowledge in the amazing staff that work here. You'll always treated with respect and they'll help out anyway they can. I believe this O' Reilly's has the greatest customer service I've ever experienced in a parts store. They remember what vehicles I have. On top of that they often asked how a project I came in to buy parts for went. No other place like it. If it ain't broke don't fix it.

Short staffed but managed pretty well. Great job assisting the 5 of us in a timely manner with only 2 sales associates. Just didn't expect to pay $60+ for headlights. But

I had really good experiences here. i've actually had a couple folks from the store come out to the parking lot to help me. This isn't uncommon at an auto parts store, but repeatedly coming outside to help me is. I appreciate the help and the time that these people spent with me. I could only give 4 stars because one of the products i bought had missing parts. they did fix this but i could've drove home and then found out and we all know how that feels.

Went in because I needed jumper cables. My car was outside with a dead battery. They refused to loan them to me for 5 min (as it is common practice in O'Railley's stores with the loan a part program where you can leave your ID and borrow a part). Not happy with the service. Recommend going to AutoZone instead.

Malia was one of the most knowledgable people i have ever encountered in an O'Reilly's store and I swear by O'Reilly's stores to begin with. She was understaffed and the lines were long and yet i didn't feel rushed. She was grabbing parts, looking up info for people on the phones, running a till, dealing with a gentleman who was obviously mentally ill and seemed to be a regular there (a regular pain in the tush as well) with compassion. Absolutely an amazing woman and should be an employee of the year recipient. One employee hadn't shown up and another stood idly by on his lunch break while she and a woman who worked in the back moved the customers through with grace, intelligence and a good sense of humor. Go on girl!!

After a less than ideal experience at a different auto parts store up the street (rhymes with Schotto Schmone) this place came through. I was looking for a little plastic clip retainer thing for my fender well liner, one of those annoying things it s almost always hard to find. The person who helped me not only walked out and made a point to help me find one that matched (turned out to be for a Nissan and my car is a Mazda), but he also told me to go try it on my car to be sure it would fit. Now that s customer service!

I went in this location to get a price quote on parts for my customers vehicle. The lady verbally told me the total after tax, then I requested a print out which she provided, I quick look at the total at the bottom matched the price she said. After telling my customer the price and customer agrees I go back in the store to buy the exact parts on my printed quote from an hour earlier. Now my total is $50 more because she made a mistake, went to the manager about it and he was trying to say it was my fault that I didn't catch her mistake, REALLY? Don't shop here they will rip you off!

Very upset! I don't know if it's because I'm a black woman in a urban neighborhood but I was treated very rudely like I was a liar. I came in thinking I would be able to return an iteam I purchased with my receipt in hand and when I tried the employee rudely said told that I have to have original package to get refund. After I explained that I purchased it like this and the bad day I had while buying tools so maybe it may have had package but I don't recall he was very rude and quick answering. I have been a manager for over 10years and I know policies. You may want to retrain your employees when it comes to customer service

I called ahead to see if they take used oil. Yes they do. I show up and several people are waiting in line with only one person at the counter. No acknowledgement or anything. I asked Steve (I saw his name badge) where I take the oil. He said in the back. Ok, where? I don't work here. I walked around the counter but only saw tables so I asked where do I go? Nothing. By now I have waited 10 minutes. Two more people come to the counter and the line is longer. Still nothing. Finally I hear some guys in the back and I ask where to dump the oil. Someone shows me. All 3 employees worked very slow, did not look even remotely happy, and the line was getting longer. They carried one part I needed that the Sunset store didn't have, so I picked it up, but I will never come back.I have been to the Sunset location several times and they always treated me good. Now I see why the Rainier store has bad reviews. The service sucks and is slow.

Trevor answered the phone and quoted me at 31.99 for an 02 Honda CRV Thermostat sensor & gasket. Came in to pick up and they said they never took a call for that part or price quote. Bullshi*. I had them ring me up the parts separate. No wonder this location is losing business. Lousy service & attitude.

HUGE PROPS to Marcia in Renton, WA! Everyone here is pretty friendly & helpful, but she went ABOVE & BEYOND! My dad had been in search of 1 bolt needed to replace rear brakes after 3 months of working to get the stuck bolt out, only to need a new one before he could continue. No one else there was able to locate if they had this part in stock or find out what it was called to try to locate it. Marcia said NOPE, I WILL FIND THIS IF WE GOT IT! And SHE DID! They had 1 left in stock & he was able to finish the job!!!Thank you for your dedication & the smile you put on my dad's face! And in a job that is typically male dominant, THANK YOU for showing who is really willing to go the extra mile to get the job done!

Super busy and not a really clean place but the employees are awesome. I called ahead with basically no info about the part I needed and the guy I talked to helped me over the phone as well as in person. It takes serious skill to be that busy all day and still give customer service that well.

always love this store! they've got good prices for oil, fluids etc. plus, they'll come out to the car and hook up the machine that can diagnose the problem (for newer cars) older ones they're more limited on what info they are able to get, but they can see how strong your battery is, and if you need a new alternator etc. O'Reillys rocks!

Worst service out any auto parts store I've ever been to. They had a line of ten. Employees were really unorganized, and had six people behind the counter. Only 2 were helping customers. The person that helped me could not read or pronounce any word properly and didn't know how use the computer. He didn't ask me for a shop account or phone number, I had tell him. The only employee in the store who seemed to be professional and new what he was doing was the old timer which was on the other register. I recommend going to another location for good service.
