I turned to Meisterwerks to assist me with the custom installation of my Airride System, Powder Coating and Brakes. Owner Dave Meister guided me through the process and gave me sound advice and suggestions and he created a plan that met my budget. During the course of the installation Dave kept me constantly apprised. Once the project was completed I was taken completely by surprise by the quality and craftsmanship of his work. The attention to the smallest details were made and I was a kid at Christmas all over again! Dave and the staff at Meisterwerks treated me like an old friend and anticipated all my needs! They gained a new friend and a lifelong customer in me! Highly Recommended!!!

German problems require German specialists and these fine service personnel take that motto and run with it to the field goal.They are equipped with the tools and knowledge to accurately and precisely diagnose, repair, and maintain a myriad of automobile problems and functions.Trust me when I say this isn't some sketchy alternative to a car dealership. First time customer. Great experience. Cars are not always simple to fix nor are they inexpensive. But this shop is very knowledgeable, communicative, and well organized. The shop is clean and orderly. All the signs of a good place to trust with your vehicle even if the news is not always great. For me, it turned out I only had some computer errors with my Mercedes and no parts were needed. With cars you hope you don t need to go back to a repair shop, but if I do, I will happily go back to this shop should I need repair or troubleshooting on my vehicle because they have earned my trust based on everything I observed and their excellent communication.Service: Electrical repair

Terrible shop to work with. Brought a simple window motor replacement to them, they quoted about $580 which is expensive, but I was in a rush so I agreed. The service manager called me an hour later asking to replace the window regulator as well..which was a brand new unit. They hadn t even looked at the car but assumed it was also bad, and wanted $1100 to replace it with the window. I tell them it s a new unit, and he has to talk to the tech and boss again. Calls me back 10 min later we have to remove it to make sure it s installed correctly so it s still gonna be $1100 . This isn t even the correct order of operations one should follow when diagnosing or replacing a bad window motor/regulator assembly.They drove up the cost without even looking at the car. They did not follow correct diagnostic procedure when looking at the car, are not honest mechanics, or competent mechanics. Even dealerships are more trustworthy than these guys.Services: Electrical repair, General repairs & maintenance, Electrical

Where to begin! I took my '03 Passat to Meister Werks because it was running REALLY REALLY rough. They ran diagnostics on it and told me that it was my timing belt and gave me a quote for repair. I told them I would come have it towed home until I could get the finances sorted out in order to get the repair. Instead of towing I decided to just drive it home. They were emphatic about NOT driving it home, it would cause more damage and the possibility of the timing belt flat out breaking leaving me stuck on the side of the road. THIS was my sign to use Meister Werks, they are amazing. Honesty in the mechanics world is a rarity, and these folks are just that, honest. From Jasmin at the front desk to all the mechanics I spoke with.If you have a European vehicle, Go see Meister Werks, you wil NOT be disappointed.Thank you all again for getting my Brunhilde back on the road.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

I have an Audi A3 that I bought new in 2006. It now has 115K miles on it and the engine was loaded with the carbon buildup that arrives over time in a direct injected turbocharged engine. After a thorough cleaning, new intake manifold, throttle body and other needed part replacements my car is once again a pleasure to drive. It's like it was the day I drove it home for the first time many years ago. Meister Works really knows what they're doing. Nice, smart, experienced people. They treated my car like it was their own. Plus they use Liqui Moly oil. How often do you see that? Meister Works is the best you'll find anywhere! Highly recommended.

Been there for first and last time!While I tried to explain them what I need and asking them some questions, some guy from the staff was talking super loud on the phone beyond us and we almost couldn't hear and understand each other. They treated me very unprofessionally and not very friendly.I don't recommend them at all!

It was so great to have a nearby shop that can work on both our Smart Car and Winnebago View Sprinter motorhome! They were very knowledgeable and experienced, plus nice folks to deal with.

Charged way to much for an oil change to begin with. Then when I picked up the car they had noted several things wrong that needed repairs. Quoted 2300 dollars for the cost to repair. Told them I'd keep that in mind. Left there took it to another place for a second opinion said nothing was wrong with my car, didn't see where it needed 2300 dollars in repairs. Sooo glad I got a second opinion. Shame on you!!Service: Oil change

Found this shop near my house full of VW's. I'm very picky as to where I take my car. They worked with me on scheduling and answered all my questions. Took my car in for an alignment and oil change. I had previously done an alignment at VW of Puyallup and they couldn't get it aligned perfectly. Meister werks was able to with no issue!Nice added touch was the interior vacuum, that was not expected but is appreciated!Techs were able to tell me what my car needed urgently including a check of the voltage system (Problem with the battery or Alternator) With that recommendation, I was able to get my Battery replaced for free (AAA) which fixed the voltage issue.Will take my car here for regular maintenance.Services: Electrical repair, Tire rotations, Wheel alignment, Auto interior vacuuming, Battery, Oil change

What a great shop! I had a horrible experience at the BMW Dealership that was trying to charge me for things I didn't need and refused to fix my car unless I had everything they suggested done. They even told me to trade the car in and buy a new one. They quoted over 4k to start and stated it could be way more. Thank goodness I found Meister Werks and Tyler was great!. I had my car towed to them, and most of what the dealership stated I had to have done was not necessary; the codes showing up had been work completed and needed to be just reset, which Meister Werks did for me. The "real" problem was a radiator hose, thermostat and water pump, and the charge was less than half of what the dealer quoted. Tyler was honest with what needed to be done and what didn't need to be done. He took the time to listen and explain the problems and kept me informed the whole time. I am a returning customer for sure! They made a horrible experience into a great one and my car runs great! Thank you.

Great people working here. We pulled off the freeway looking to buy some Liqui Moly for our Audi. We were on a road trip and the light flicked on. These guys dropped everything to put in the oil for us and top off all our fluids. Didn't charge us extra for anything. Mischa was very welcoming and John was very thoughtful with his serviceThanks guys!

I strongly do not recommend Meister Werks. Brought my Volvo in for a noise on the front end. When asked what I thought the problem was, I said "I don't know, maybe the transaxle?"- I know little about cars. Went back at the end of the day after no response from Meister Works. They said they found my problem. A rock about 2"X1". I told them that I did not think that it was a rock causing the issues. The gentleman at the desk suggested we go for a test ride. Once we were in the car, he said that he could clearly hear the "rubbing" noise I was referring to. He made the comment that he didn't think his tech had actually test drove the car. It was at the end of operating hours so we agreed that I would bring the car back in the morning, which I did. At noon I received an estimate to do the front disc brakes for $842.36. They followed up with a call shortly afterward explaining the brake repair. I questioned that brakes were what was causing the noise and vibration. They said they would take ANOTHER look. This time they came back with the differential as being the issue and "you really don't need brakes right away". He strongly suggested doing a $450 transmission flush to determine if there were metal shavings in the old fluid. Anyone would know by listening to the sound the car was making, that they were going to find metal shavings. It was clear to me at the end that they knew that I was unlikely to spend $3-4K on a car that is worth $5K so they were going to milk me for the $450. So after two days of being ran around and redirecting them THREE different times I ended up with a $128 bill. Go to this shop at your own risk.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Not sure what all other negative reviewers are smoking but Dave at MW is awesome to deal with! He is fair in his pricing and always willing to give recommendations or tips and tricks if you ask. Their shop is super clean and they do good work. I have bought numerous things from them and will continue to be a customer! Highly recommend the shop to anyone that needs quality work done on their import, suspension and alignment work or custom airbag installations!

Wow, brought them an aftermarket wing for my STI, carbon fiber. I d have to drill some holes in her and I didn t trust my self. Thank god I found these guys, amazing job and on time. They did great work and I d trust them again with anything else. They will be putting my Subaru decals on this week, I m so excited. Oh and the price was reasonable and worth it!

This place is TOP NOTCH and as TRUSTWORTHY as u can get. If all businesses were like this the world would truly be a better place!I had some tires installed on brand new aftermarket wheels. The rims cost about $400 a piece. There was a small mistake made by the Installer. A minuscule scratch resulted. Dave called me immediately, explained the situation to me and told me he was going to buy me a new wheel. He didn't ask me if I wanted a replacement, HE TOLD ME HE WAS REPLACING IT. I told him to hold off on ordering it until I could come and see how bad it was. I was expecting it to be bad based on his phone call but when I got there and took a look, the scratch was so small it took him a while to find it again. I would never have noticed it.In the end I took the wheel as it was and he and I came to a more than fair agreement.The fact that he was willing to go as far as he was to correct a small mistake speaks volumes about the character of Dave and the way he runs his business.He has earned a lifetime of business from me for sure!Thank u Dave, for being an honest person and an honest businessperson.Service: Tires

Excellent experience. Prices are much better than dealer, Dave the owner is very courteous & knowledgeable and the techs were a pleasure to work with. Need 4 ignition coil packs replaced and they did it in record time. Found a small coolant hose damaged during repair and it was repaired with no cost to me, no hassle, and provided a loaner car. If you need work on your German car I d head to Meister Werks.

Had a routine oil change done after I saw a coupon for an oil change. Great how they use Liqui Molly oil! First time coming into the shop. The waiting area is clean and comfortable, all employees were extremely nice. After the oil change they made a few recommendations after the inspection and answered any questions I had. My windshield fluid light was on due to being low and was not filled which normally is if I go to a dealer but other than that, fantastic experience and I will be back if I need more work done on my vehicle. These guys are defiantly passionate about what they do!

I asked for run flat tires, They told me they were installing run flat tires, charged me for run flat tires, did not install run flat tires, I got stuck with a flat a few weeks later, told them they made a mistake on what they quoted me and what the said they were installing, and they were unhelpful. I had it towed to them, they basically said tough luck, offered zero options, and I had to have it towed elsewhere.Services: Tires, Wheel alignment, Oil change

-Quadrupled initial price from 700 to 3950$-Wouldnt let me test drive- car was supposed to be raised 2 inches . Was still sitting on tired (coil overs)****PLEASE READ!!!!!!!!!(CON ARTIST)DIDNT FIX ANYTHING-SCAM ALERT... (WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE)-My car needed an alignment one day, and the suspension adjusted because its a lowered car..Came to meister works for an alignment and suspension adjustment. On the test drive after the tech was done, he made it apparent there was a new noise coming from under my car meaning they caused an issue.-they quoted me 700$ to fix a problem they caused-3 days later i couldn't drive the car, because of the issue and the car sounded awful.- Dropped my car off to meister werksand they kept the car for 3 weeks,-Dave Meister changed the price of the repairs with 700$ to 3970$..never notified a price change...-HE WOULDN'T LET ME TEST DRIVE THE CAR BEFORE PAYING BASICALLY 4000..........AS SOON AS I LEFT NONE OF THE PROBLEMS WERE FIXED.. HE TOOK MY MONEY THEN KICKED ME OUT OF THE SHOP LIKE A CHILD... DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE..

Wow, the service was great - they did quite a bit of work on my car from new tires, to general maintenance/repairs. The service professional called me to talk through all of it and to give me options/recommendations. I picked up the car and it drove like a dream...highly recommend this place!

Two thumbs up to Trent who recently worked on my Volvo .I happened to be in another vehicle as he pulled my car out of the garage area.. When he excited the Volvo and shut the door he must have noticed a small area of dirt on the door as I watched him use his t shirt to wipe off the door. Obvious attention to detail inside and out ! Always good service .We have already scheduled our follow up service here.

Read the good reviews and booked an oil change - safe audition. Price was very high, though they did have the oil I wanted. Was hoping for something extra, like a quick vac or a coupon for a return visit... instead, very run-of-the-mill service and I had to reset the service clock myself. Absolutely no difference than a trip to a quick lube place, but three times the price. If you're loyal, I get it. But they didn't do anything to earn my return business.

What can I say about Meister Werks in Renton, well it's one of the best managed and maintained European Shops I have ever worked with. Dave Meister the owner is very knowledgeable, priced reasonable, has fast and accurate service, treats everyone fairly and respectfully, takes pride in making every customer happy. I have been going to this shop for about 2 years. I first brought my 2003 VW Beetle Turbo in, then my 2011 BMW 328i E90 and now my 2005 Mini Cooper S. I get excited to stop in and see the crew because they all are so welcoming, they treat you like family. I continue to do business with this shop due to the respect they give me and my vehicles. Both my current BMW and Mini Cooper are in great shape because of this shop...
