The crew at Meineke were communicative, informative, and without a doubt helpful in answering any questions I had.Car troubles is always daunting for a person like me that is unfamiliar with automotive repairs, but coming here they made me feel very welcome.Their inspection/diagnosis was thorough and exceeded my expectations. I do recommend coming here as their customer service truly is great, and their car service even better.

It s never fun to wait while work is being done on your car, however my experience with Amanda and the tech working on my car was anything but a chore. Communication was excellent and the work done was beyond expectations. The team was knowledgeable and worked efficiently to complete the job. On top of the fantastic service, the price was far below market price for the service I received. I highly recommend them.

I bring all of my auction purchases to my local Meineke for a thorough post-purchase inspection. Earlier this week, I brought in a 2013 Cadillac Escalade that was misfiring after I picked it up. I didn't have the time to look into myself, so I figured I was in for an expensive trip. Within a couple hours of dropping the vehicle off, I received a notice of the proposed work to be performed. None of it included anything about treating the misfire. When I called Jeff at the store, he explained that two of the coils had been disconnected (probably by someone at the auction). They reconnected the coils and took the rig on a successful test drive. They could have certainly taken the opportunity to replace a couple coils to make some money off me. In the end, we replaced the wipers, did an oil change and I was out of there. They're people I can trust!

Back during the height of catalytic converter theft, I brought my Prius to Meineke because they confirmed they could replace the converter faster than the dealership could. Come to find out two years later that the converter is failing in my car- the replacement was a poorer quality than the original, which had lasted 13 years. I am frustrated that Meineke failed to inform me of a clearly important difference that would have saved me a lot in the coming years. I would have made a different choice had they been honest.

Had my Clutch/ Fly wheel and Slave replaced on my 08 Tiburon. Guys took their time to make sure she was running great again before letting me pick up the car. Jeff was running the store that week and made sure to communicate with me about what was going on. They keep all the cars in the garage at night for safety purposes which made me feel way better than knowing it was parked out side all night. I will definitely be back soon for some more maintenance work! Great shop you can trust!

Brakes went out and Kevin at Meineke took me in on a minutes notice. Excellent job fixing a brake line and while he was underneath saw my front brakes and rotors were in dire need of replacement. They also did an inspection which I wasn t expecting. Awesome job. Highly recommend.

Completely satisfied with my experience at this shop. I installed some headers on my Ram myself, and then needed the Y-pipe cut and lengthened on one side to accommodate the new parts. Kevin was great to work with, he was very clear beforehand on what was needed and how the shop was going to execute the work. No qualms about recommending this shop to friends and family.

Please don't come here. I'm surprised at all the good reviews.Went here for new brakes and to find out why my truck was leaking. Paid just under $3,600 and got new brakes, an oil change, and a new radiator. On the drive home, my vehicle is shaky and wobbly. Got home and saw my right rear tire is missing 4 lug nuts. Almost had a heart attack. And the 2 that were on weren't tight. I'm so relieved the tire didn't just roll off while I was driving.And my truck still leaks. So, a new radiator didn't solve the issue.Eventually took my vehicle to Peter Tran in Skyway. My truck no longer leaks.

Meineke did a good job for me and kept me informed throughout the process. They gave me a discount as well as other issues came up that increased the cost. Very professional staff as well.

Have had a couple of vehicles serviced here a few times now. Great communication and customer service in general. They send your vehicle inspection report via text which is super handy. When they suggest additional services they are not pushy and help you find the best path forward. They ve also treated my wife super well which as we all know is not always the case with auto servicing shops! Definitely recommend at least for basic maintenance services.

they don't deserve any stars at all. the most racist and discriminating employees i have ever encountered at an auto shop. the female employee wouldn't even acknowledge me as i hobbled in. i am a disabled minority so it was clear how she felt about that. bryson at the Renton location, came in from the shop and he was rather curt as if i was a bother to him. i had a coupon. he entered my information and was speaking down to me as if i was less than. that is how he made me feel. i don't give out certain information and he said well, you have the mailer there so you got the coupon that way. it shouldn't matter how i got it. i chose to go them for this service. i needed to sit down and asked if that was ok he said ya. i walked away towards the chair and he was like 'oh i didn't see you had a cane'. like that matters in how i should be treated. he went to get some information off my car and returned saying that he can only do the full synthetic oil change is that what i wanted. i said no, i want what the coupon says, standard oil change. he proceeded to argue with me about it. it's a 2011 and i have only ever used regular oil per the dealership where i bought the vehicle. i said no that's not what i want. he handed me the coupon and my keys. i left. i was distraught about how i was treated and the blatant racism/discrimination showed towards me. i came home, called my old mechanic, key word being old, to see how they were able to give me regular oil changes. i had signed a waiver of sorts indicating the shop isn't liable for anything if the regular oil causes damage to the engine. i called bryson back at meineke to tell him this and if he would be willing to let me sign a waiver of sorts (not that i really wanted to go back there). he immediately said well why don't you just go back to that mechanic. i was freaking appalled by his response and said no coupon for them and you obviously don't want my business and hung up on him. i then called corporate and voiced a complaint. i normally don't do review for anyone, even when it's less than to be desired customer service. this instance however needs to be posted to let people know that there's still people who will show blatant racism/discrimination within a very large company. NOT ACCEPTABLE!!!

Kevin was very friendly and let me know what was going on. The tech that did my oil change was very thorough and sent pictures of everything. I have been looking for a auto shop to take care of my car, and I will be coming here now for future needs. I highly recommend them.

My car needed brake pads and rotors. After researching several shops, I choose Meineke Car Care Center in Renton. I am delighted that I did. Work was completed in a timely manner and my brakes work great. Customer service was excellent!

Someone referred me here & they did not disappoint! This place has some awesome employees. Kevin went wayyy out of his way to help me find a part needed to repair my vehicle. He was very friendly & honest. This will be my new go to place when I need anything done!Great job!

Absolutely disappointed and ticked off! I had the brakes replaced all the way around to the tune of $1500 bucks! They STILL SQUEAK-STILL GRIND- STILL CHORTLE!

Disappointed by High AC Recharge Cost at Meineke Auto ServiceMy recent experience with Meineke Auto Service left me feeling incredibly dissatisfied due to the high cost I paid for an AC recharge process. After the fact, I discovered that I had been charged a staggering $304 for the service, while a comparable job could have been done for just $158 at Firestone. Needless to say, this realization left me feeling frustrated and taken advantage of.When I confronted the staff at Meineke about the vast price difference, their explanation only added to my disappointment. They claimed that shops like Firestone benefit from purchasing parts in bulk, allowing them to offer lower prices compared to Meineke. While I understand that there may be variations in pricing between service centers, the significant disparity in cost for a seemingly straightforward job was unreasonable and unfair.As a customer, I expect transparency and fair pricing when seeking automotive services. Kevin was so great! Ok I was skeptical because the shop was small and dated, but I think now that's what made it awesome. I didn't have to wait 3 months to get my car in. I just called, dropped it off and a couple days later I had my car back. Kevin, the Mgr, not only took my car in but legit seemed to care about the outcome. He went out of his way to research, phone a friend about the issue I was experiencing, and I got a detailed text with pictures and videos about my full inspection! I will definitely go back to this diamond in the rough. Be safe out there!

Great service! Friendly and reliable. The price is about right, and they have the option of using original manufacturer parts. Recently they did some work to fix my power steering - same day and good price. Also love the text and web tools for reviewing work recommended and approving the documented repairs. The guy who does the exhaust work did a really nice job. I had a somewhat custom job. I had a universal MagnaFlow muffler that I wanted to replace my existing muffler. On top of that my tail pipe piece and the piece from the original muffler were badly rusted and the flanges connecting basically broke off leaving the tailpipe dangling. The guy put a new piece from the new muffler to the tailpipe piece and welded them together. He also welded few hangers to the frame to make sure they were properly secured. The magnaflow muffler was smaller than the original muffler so the fit wasn t straight forward where two pipes coming from the engine was wider than the two connecting inlet on the magnaflow, but the guy made the adjustment with the pipes and welded the two pipes to the frame with a hanger. I am very pleased with the work.Service: Auto exhaust system repair

GIVES DISCOUNTS FOR REVIEWS. Took my car here for an oil change and they told me over 200$ because they needed to use a special filter for the oil. Jiffy lube got the oil change done for 45$ and didn t need any special filters.

My car needed the hose going to the turbo coolant replaced. The dealer quoted me $1000 went to Meineke. They did a diagnostic for free. Their diagnostic is so thorough where they provide you images of the things that need to be changed told me to bring it back the next day drop the vehicle off at 8:30 and picked it up at 5. The workers were polite and professional. I was so surprised with how fast everything was done because usually the auto shops don t finish work the same day overall a great experience.

I will never go to anyone else but Renton Meineke to care for my car. Not only are they thorough, but the staff there talks to you and treats you with respect. I was there dropping my car off and my husband was with me. The gentleman behind the counter addressed me with eye contact. Not once did he look to my husband for acknowledgment or approval for what I authorized to be managed on my car. Excellent service on my car and for me. I would recommend Renton Meineke 100%.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Vehicle Inspection, Auto maintenance, Oil change

They replaced 6 spark plugs, an alternator, and barely half of my ac actuator and was charged $1800. Car is running a bit better now at least but at a huge cost, but they didn't fix the ac or even inspect it properly the first time and was gonna charge me another 1k to fix the passenger side. So a huge let down and they charge $180 an hour for labor and double priced parts. I won't be going back
