Recently I took my car into Toyota for an oil change and they discovered some damage that was done from the previous service which was done at Lynden Lube & Auto. When Lynden Lube & Auto were questioned about it, they checked their records and confirmed the service and damage. They went above and beyond to make it right. They performed all necessary services to repair and correct what had been done. No questions asked. Everyone makes mistakes. They showed how to correct it and make it right with the customer. When I dropped off and picked up, they treated me like any other customer. I will absolutely be going back there. I respect their customer service policy and commitment. That is how to run a business and gain the respect and business in your community.

A trustworthy shop. They are always well staffed with knowledgeable employees which is appreciated. I ve had several repairs done here and their work is always great.I just wish my oil change didn t cost $100. I know that having well paid and knowledgeable employees costs money but it s hard to pay that much for just an oil change.My only other pain point as a customer is that it can be tough to organize transportation when dropping off a vehicle.I know it s probably impractical to have someone running a shuttle but maybe they could have a limited one that only does drop offs or only transports people who aren t getting same day work done at the shop.Alternatively, maybe they could partner with Lynden Hop which does $1 transportation to anywhere in Lynden. It s available to all Lynden residents. Even just some signs inside the waiting room to help educate people that they can request the Lynden hop to pick them up for $1 just like calling a taxi or using Uber but way cheaper

It may not be the cheapest service, but you get what you pay for. Quality parts/service and honest people.And I love knowing that my money spent here is going back in the community. I often see Lynden Lube sponsorships and donations to local organizations and clubs. Thank you Lynden Lube!

Friendly, courteous, efficient. Car broke down on the road and I coasted into the parking lot. They were busy, but they fit me in for a diagnosis that day anyway and gave me a loaner car. I was on my way in 10 minutes. Later that day, the car had a new water pump and belt. On time on and on budget. I was LUCKY I broke down in that spot, and I'll come back on purpose next time!

First-time customer. Appreciated that I could stop on my way home for an oil change. Shop appeared to be busy on both sides of the shop. The waiting area is very large with plenty of chairs for waiting and there is coffee. I will definitely use them again for my next oil change or repair.

I have been going hear for a few years and after my last visit they broke my oil filter housing and refused to take the blame and told me it was another shop but I have only gotten my oil changed at this location I understand mistakes happen but own up to it instead they pushed it under the rugService: General repairs & maintenanceService: General repairs & maintenance

Excellent, quick and professional service! A few months ago I had my new car serviced at the dealership I bought it from, but they didn't tighten down the oil drain plug. I was slowly leaking oil and took my vehicle to Lynden Lube and Auto as they were closest. They diagnosed the problem, tightened the plug and topped off my oil free of charge! I averted severe engine damage thanks to them, and when my warranty with the dealership expires I'll be sure to have my car serviced with them.

Lynden Lube & Auto is the best place to go take your cars for repairs & oil changes and among other things you take your car or truck , I highly recommend going to this place for your vehicle needs

- INTEGRITY -I left a 5 star review 4 months ago because I had amazing service. However come time for my next oil change and my drain plug was damage and my oil pan was stripped, so much so that I needed a new oil pan.Lynden Lube was so helpful that they covered the job and took full responsibility (I've only gone to them for the last few years).Since automechanic issues are always difficult to prove fault, I fully expected to walk away empty handed with a huge repair bill and a non-drivable car. Not these guys, they took me at my word, my history with them and offered a great resolution.I'm happy to recommend them to anyone and everyone I know.

These guys are super nice, and they are also very quick and doing oil changes. They even vacuumed the front two seats of my car free of charge, which I thought was super thoughtful. I ll definitely be coming here for all my oil changes.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

Great service on a Saturday. Cost was moderate but they were about the only place open so a necessary cost of doing business. Good looking shop & lobby. Clean & comfortable place to relax and drink some free coffee while waiting. I was the only one there so the wait wasn't long at all for an oil change & quick check of other fluids & lights.One suggestion: Put a big open sign out during business hours. I thought they were closed already when I pulled up since it looks dark from the outside.

They said multiple things were wrong with my engine. Including tiny metal shards in my engine oil but after I brought my car to a different shop they said none of that was wrong. I would not recommend this place whatsoever they overcharge you SO much

Everyone working here is friendly and helpful. They work quickly and thoroughly. I ve come to Lynden Lube for a window replacement, an oil change, and to ask about a warning light on my dashboard, and every time I have been impressed with their service.

Always fast and complete professionals. Great waiting room and let you know if any additional problems they find but don't push you into getting them to fix it right away. They offer suggestions of problems they can't fix there. Great guys all around. Been going there for last 5 years..

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. I took my car here to get a pre purchase inspection done. I specifically asked them to take a close look at the head gasket and timing belt, as well as the rest of the car. They came back with a report that the timing belt and head gasket were fine and the rest of the car only needed some fairly minor repairs. Based on this information, I purchased the car. I took it in to a mechanic to get the repairs done, and it turned out the head gasket was blown, which should have been very obvious, but now I m stuck with the car thanks to them.

I ve been bringing all my cars here for oil changes ever since we moved to Lynden. They re honest and get stuff done in a timely manner. I ve taken my car in to get other big things looked at as well. And they re pretty honest about the cost. Not always the cheapest option, but it s a local company and you don t have to drive to Bellingham.If you re looking to take your car in for pretty much anything, call these guys first!

So I just got my truck back from the dealership with a huge bill after an oil change at Lynden Lube.The best we can surmise, it looks like an inexperienced tech accidentally removed the drain plug on the transmission, not the oil. It appears they panicked after noticing this and hand tightened the transmission plug (never tightening it down) and then did the oil change correctly. The two plugs are near each other. I was short a bunch of transmission fluid and it was actively leaking, which lead to unusual sound and behavior, which brought me to the dealership.I really liked this place and the service was great and a great waiting room. However this became the most expensive oil change of my life.

They came out 10 minutes before open to see what I needed and ensure I was in the correct lane. They took my car in 2 minutes before open and had the oil changed in 15 minutes. I don't see a lot of places ready to do actual work right at open. I was impressed.

Im recently new to Lynden and needed a oil change. My neighbor recommended Lynden Lube. I drove my car over there at 8am today. They explained the process and offered me a complementary cup of hot coffee. I barely finished my coffee and my car was ready to go. Love that! I will be back!

Honestly an amazing experience. Went there on a suggestion from a friend. They were very busy but gave me a perfect estimation of time. Waiting room was clean, staff was awesome. Prices cheap compared to competitors. You're missing out if you haven't been.

This was the best oil-change experience I've ever had. Everyone was incredibly friendly. The facilities are beautiful and very clean. The waiting room has a TV, bathroom, ample seating, and a fridge with bottled water. They even cleaned my windows and finished the oil change in under 20 minutes. I highly recommend them!

I have been working with Lynden Lube from last three years. On Monday I went to there for change oil of my truck. They changed oil but they forgot to plug in of air filter I don t know what s the exact part. Next day when I started my truck it was not start I started 4 times then it was run. After that I called him got appointment they gave me appointment of Wednesday. Yesterday I saw unplug and I plugged in now running truck very good. They are not serious about working If I wasn t checked they damaged my engine. I need to pay approximately $5000 . They gave me very bad service.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Took my car in to see what was causing misfire. They told me that my fourth cylinder had no compression and that it could be a multi-thousand dollar job and they would need to take off the the valve cover to see further . I said no thanks and when working on it at home it had a compression of 170 pounds. I called to see what was up and if they would check it again and the guy on the phone Ryan said what do you want me to do about it. I was shocked bye how bad the customer service was. He didn t work with me and told me to call back a different day I ve gone here for 2 years and spent a few thousand here. I brought my truck in for a oil change today. I was quoted about $110 for an oil change. They fixed my rounded off drain plug for no charge. I had high hopes of a great experience but I was wrong. I wanted the same oil I usually use a good synthetic 15w40 oil. They put in some expensive 5w40 oil for $180 for an oil change. It s not that big of deal but the service advisor should have said that using certain oil is going to be more expensive than what I was quoted and when I say I want a certain oil I expect it to be used. They also didn t it fill my truck full of oil I m almost a quart low and they didn t reset my oil light and left greasy finger prints all over my hood. This is the second time I ve used them and it s always more than you get quoted. I really want to support local businesses but when I can do it myself correctly for half the price it s not worth it.
