Brought my Toyota 4runner in for a steering and suspension inspection it made a really loud creaking noise when driving so I booked a appointment paid the fee for them to do the inspection and not only did I leave with peace at mind I left with my truck not creaking ! So Immediately set a appointment up for the one day I had off and with the list of problems they found on my truck they serviced it the day of the appointment and my car has never ran better ! If your looking for fair and honest people and skilled mechanics this is definitely the place to come to don't think twice !

As I was away for training in the military my wife noticed a slow leak of antifreeze so I had her bring it in to D&S Autocare. They found a leak in a hose, replaced the hose ($500+dollars later). Drives the car full of kids two hours down the road when the car overheated and looks under the hood to find they did not put the clamps on the hose to make sure it stays connected. They reimbursed us for the three gallons of fluid she had to walk and get but they should be reimbursing us for the whole amount. Don t trust them with fixing simple things on your car.

Customer service is poor. Called their front desk lady twice for two separate quotes. Both times I could hear her eating over phone, seemed bothered I even called, and was disinterested in answering or finding answers to my questions.I came in person and talked to a mechanic who could answer them all. He is the only reason for the two stars.

I have had my car for many years and have always taken it to D&S for maintenance, at least for the last 15 years. They have provided numerous repairs for me. I rarely, if ever, took it anywhere else.On this occasion the radiator needed to be replaced and D&S scheduled me for the next day.As always the D&S crew kept me informed of new issues that were discovered as the work progressed.Now I have the car back I know that the front desk staff will be following up with me to make sure the repairs worked out.I'm always happy with the service I get at D&S!Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Auto maintenance

Best experience I've had at an auto shop! All of the employees were fantastic and went above and beyond. My husband and I have both had work done here on our vehicles. They text us a breakdowns of what they saw as issues and pictures to help explain. They always let us know what to expect. We needed to drive home to California with our daughter in her car. We needed to have the car checked out for the long trip. Because of there good reviews, we brought the car to D&S Auto Care for them to inspect and repair any potential problems. It's an older car. We were more than impressed. Because they knew our situation, they could have tried to embellish on what needed to be done. There was none of that. They made the necessary repairs at a reasonable rate and had it done in a day. Been going to D&S AutoCare for at least 6 years and every time I ve been, they are so professional and kind. Just like family. In fact, when I told them one day I went somewhere else out of convenience they were a little sad lol. They really care about you and your vehicle and doing things right!

D & S were absolutely WONDERFUL! My car was vandalized while visiting Lakewood, and consequently, my car needed a new alternator. I chose D & S based on reviews, and I was so pleasantly relieved at the kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable service I received. I found this shop when I was looking for a place to take my 2020 Tahoe for some noise it was making. They were able to squeeze me in last minute for an appointment & fixed the part that needed to be replaced the same day! Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Will be returning for any future work that's needed. Recommend to anyone who's looking for a shop!Service: General repairs & maintenance

This Auto Group is Very professional and detail oriented.I take all my vehicles to this shop. They communicate and send out a photo reort on every that needs done to prevent future breakdowns. These guys are amazing. My wife and I bought a car in Seattle but we live in Hawaii and in order for our insurance to fully cover us they needed a letter from a licensed mechanic to confirm the vehicle was roadworthy. We were on a very tight time frame because we flew in late the night before and got the car the next day which was the last workday of the week. We had to be on the road to the shipper the next day. David was extremely helpful right from the first phone call we made to the shop and he managed to squeeze us in within hours. All the guys in the shop were very friendly and easy to work with. They took us into the shop and took the time to go over the whole car after the inspection to show us what was in great shape and what may need attention. This was very helpful because we knew next to nothing about the car. They were very transparent and honest and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Their prices were more than fair and the job was done quickly and thoroughly which got us on our way fast with all the paperwork we needed. The car is very low as it's a sports car and they took extra care to make sure the vehicle wasn't damaged getting it onto the hoist. I wish we hadn't been on such a time crunch so we could've given them more business. If you're looking for a shop that doesn't operate the way all the rest do and who is honest, friendly and helpful then I highly recommend D&S Autocare. The service was truly amazing. My brother told me about D&S for my Mercedes Benz repair needs. I was and am glad to say, I have found my new auto service shop.My service tech Chris is absolutely the best! He took the time to explain to me what was wrong with my car and how long it would take to repair. He is professional and definitely cares about his customers. In addition, repair costs were reasonable and not at all inflated.I will be sharing my positive D&S experience with all of my family, friends and coworkers.Thank you to Chris for putting me safely back on the road. Great work. They are upfront and honest which I like. They don t try and put extra services on you to try and get more money. I respect that and will continue to go to them for my oil changes and car work

I took my 2011 ML350 in to have the steering rack replaced. I was a little bit nervous as this was my first time not going to dealership or a place that specializes in German cars. It's been a couple months since the work was performed an I have had zero issues. They know how to work on German cars, and they also helped me fix another issue with one of my speed sensors as well. They are very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. Their price was much better than the other quotes I received as well. I don't say this often, but I trust these guys and will be going there for all my auto repairs from now on.Service: Steering & suspension repair

Honest service with great communication and eager to help.My family had auto issues on travel from Florida with limited time and no backup vehicle. They somehow found a way to immediately dig into and address the problem even with a packed garage.Very transparent throughout not to mention great waiting area for those who are stuck. Many happy customers came through as I sat there.

I can t say enough great things about Dave and his team at D&S auto. My wife and I have been coming here for years and they have always provided us with honest reliable services. They take the extra time to explain each service provided (or needed) and are transparent about cost. It s hard to find honest auto shops so as long as they are in business this is my go-to for auto repairs and oil changes. I love these guys! I have been using them for basic car maintenance since they had the shop on Gravelly Lake Drive. They are honest, good at what they do, and they will not try to "up sell" you on something that you do not need. I used to cringe when I would need to get my oil changed because I hate telling people "no" and it's as if the dealerships would see me coming! I don't have to worry about that with D&S. I take a book to sit back in their lobby and read while the car is being worked on but, honestly, I rarely get to the book because by the time I have said my "hello's" to the folks in the office and sat down, my car is done! They answer your questions without making you feel like someone that knows nothing about cars. I have referred everyone I know to these guys for services. Exceptional shop!July 2022- once again Dave and the guys have impressed me. I received an estimate for routine maintenance on the breaks and air conditioning, replacement of a belt and cabin and air filters. My bill was LESS than the estimate because the determined some of the work didn't need to be done. Who does that anymore? Oh yeah, D&S! I initially chose to take my truck here because of its close proximity to my work, and I'm glad I did! Their prompt service and professional attitude towards their work is so very much appreciated. Dave will text you updates and go out of his way to get you back on the road without the typical upselling vibe you get from other shops. They also meticulously document their services and information about your vehicle so I can call him with questions and get straight answers. These guys are honest, quick, and great at what they do. I'm always apprehensive to take my vehicles to a mechanic, but I've taken two of my cars here on the recommendation of my family and D&S has really won me over. They keep me updated on the repair process, send me reports with pictures, and give me honest feedback. The prices are fair and they won't blow smoke.

This is the only auto shop I have known my entire life.I can remember coming to their location when Dave's Dad was working.My Mom had been coming for over 20 years.After she passed, I started driving her car and still take it there.All of our Toyota's have always received quick and reliable service!I have referred them to my friends as well....Service: Engine repair

I called at the last minute early in the morning to get a quote on a wheel bearing issue that I'd had for quite some time. Not only did he get me in that morning, but they gave me the best deal on the work I needed done and actually saved me money . The service was professional, friendly and fast. He had me back on the road in an hour and a half. If you are looking for honest, reliable and knowledgeable, look no further. I will be returning for any of my car care needs!!!
