Walked in here today with my tired BMW thinking I would need to make an appointment to help with a nagging battery problem. Nope! They handled me on the spot. Been coming here for years. Always get great service at a fair price. Thanks Eagle Tire for taking such good care of our community. Love you guys!Update: Problem was not completely resolved. Installed new battery but many system warning persist. Unfortunately had to take it to a different place with the BMW expert who knows how to program new batteries. Already paid $700 and they wanted to charge more labor to clear error codes. Cost was too much for this problem to persist. Problem was eventually resolved by going to BMW NW to clear the codes.Service: Electrical repair

I ve been a customer of the Gig Harbor Eagle for a few years now. The staff is knowledgeable and readily answers questions. They are always available to help out and I ve never felt over sold on services or products.

Asked for a radiator flush. They drained the fluid and replaced it and told me that's a flush. I will never use them for anything and don't recommend them. And charged over $238!!! And that was with a discount!!! Just for emptying and refilling the radiator.

We have been going to Eagle Tire & Automotive for at least 10 years. They are always respectful and knowledgeable. Highly recommend if you want to work with an honest business that offers reasonable prices.

My wife took her car in to have 4 tires taken off rims and 4 snow tires mounted and balanced on her rims. I just had the same work done on another vehicle at Les Schwabb. I paid $100 at Schwabby which is the most I've ever paid in my life for this service. Eagle charged my wife $228 for the same service. The invoice shows they charged her for 2 hours of shop time even though the car was only there for 1 hour. When I asked about that, they simply said they "must have" had two guys on the job. That is a piss poor answer for highway robbery. We've been a fan of Eagle Tire for years, but no longer. We will not go back to Eagle and hope this review helps others avoid this nonsense.

They are liars and trouble waiting to happen. One of their techies was backing out of a parking spot, not watching where he was going just as I was coming around. I had to swerve hard to the left to avoid a Collison. Are these these the kind of people who should be trusted in keeping your car or truck safe for your family?

WARNINGMaybe Eagle is a good place to get tires but if you re looking for a hometown mechanic go elsewhere!I spent over $1200, $250 of that just in diagnostics only to realize after taking my work van on the freeway that they had installed a rotor and cap incorrectly causing it to backfire at speeds of over 50mph making unsafe to drive. When I called to speak to Chris the head mechanic about the situation the following Monday after I had picked it up and asked about him taking a look he said the would for another $125 in diagnostic fees.WHAT???? I asked him if they had test drove it on the freeway which set him on a defensive mode immediately. At which point the conversation devolved into him lying about test driving it on the freeway, trying to shift blame to me, the customer, who knows nothing about repairing a vehicle which is why I paid them $1200 to fix it and insisting on the additional $125 to even bring it in. And this is a vehicle that never backfired before their repairs!!!!!13 minutes later he hung up on me after telling me to take my vehicle elsewhere.Well guess what?? A simple internet search confirmed that the parts that Eagle replaced, when incorrectly installed cause backfiring at high speeds, yet somehow, according to Chris at Eagle Automotive, the fact that it is unsafe to drive after they fixed it is my fault!Had I taken the time to read all of the Google and Yelp reviews I would have been better informed that they are not really mechanics, that they re expensive, that you wind up being charged outrageous fees, and that customer service and accountability here is sorely lacking.

Quick service. I needed a flat repair and waited 2 hours a Gig Harbor Les Schwab and still had hours to wait just for a repair. I crossed over the freeway and received service I would expect from a tire shop. Prompted, helpful, and helpful. My service was completed in a reasonable time frame.Needless to say but the Les Schwab I utilized 23 years ago is gone. It is now replaced with slow or no service. Management style is monotone.I recommend heading to Eagle Tire for your service needs around the Point Fosdick, uptown, and downtown Gig Harbor areas.

Called to see if they had time for me today. Chris couldn't get off the phone with me fast enough. Rude, over priced, and poor service.

Regrettably, a very unsatisfactory experience with this service provider. Obtained a straightforward and seemingly simple service quote over the phone, only to find that they did not honor it after making the effort to drive all the way there. This not only wasted time but also added unnecessary expenses.Unfortunately, this establishment does not live up to the reliability one expects, making it challenging to consider them a reliable choice for automotive services. I would caution against entrusting them with your vehicle, time, and money. Overall, not recommended.Service: Tires

I called and got Chris. He gave me an estimate for my tires which I approved. He had to order them and said they would be in the next day, and we made an appointment to install them. The job got done properly and on time, and they charged me exactly what the estimate was. I'm satisfied, and will go back to get other work done when I have more money.

Always friendly and professional. We have used them for years and happy with their deals on tires, satisfied with oil changes and other work they ahve done over the years.

They quoted me over $100 and I was broke down with very little money on the hiway. I had to get a ride from a kind passerby to the shop. Just to leave their "tire business" without a replacement for my flat. I cant afford a set of 4 new tires. Why would I buy just one brand new tire though? Honda is popular enough you mean to tell me they are willing to leave me stranded in gig harbor rather then even letting me borrow a old tire off another customers car. One they are throwing away? Cold and heartless les schwab on the other side of the hiway did the same thing. That's pic of les schwab's estimate.

Not great service, told one price over the phone, once there given another (higher) price. When called on the discrepancy the person taking the tires said they would honor the lower price. Still one of the highest in the area we called but could do same day that day which is why we were going to bite the higher price. When we called to check the employee over the phone curtly stated they'd be done between other jobs and were a low priority and may not get done. We had dropped the tires off early in the morning and got them back just before closing. We provided all the items, just needed mounting and balancing. I will not use them again.

Had a hard time getting a service appointment anywhere in GH.Chris and Scott went the extra mile to take care of our problems. The dreaded CEL along with A/C issues. They even squeezed us back in immediately when the CEL came back on after the first visit at no charge. Communication was outstanding from start to finish. Definitely recommend.

New client here that needed a new tire on a pick up truck. I was running 5 minutes late to pick up my vehicle. Hours earlier they had refused to take payment over the phone when I originally told them I might be late. The Rhodes Scholar who answers the phones there literally HUNG UP on me when I told him I was 20 min away and would arrive approx. 5 minutes after closing (had he taken my payment hours earlier, he could have gone home and cooked his crystal or whatever). I called back and was able to convince the Duke of Weasleton to take my money. You're welcome dood. I arrived @ 4:35 as I had estimated and they were still there closing shop. Hanging up on new clients is a great way to NOT earn repeat business.I'll take my considerable disposable income and three aging vehicles and stay with Courtesy Auto in Tacoma. They do just as good of work, and actually have a sense of customer service in a service industry. Pathetic.Service: Tires

I looked for shops to take all of our cars to and the guys at Eagle in Gig Harbor are by far the best. They are genuine, honest and reasonably priced. I highly recommend them 100% of the time. They always greet you with fresh coffee and a smile. I wouldn't take my cars anywhere else.

Unimpressed with the customer service from the so called manager or whoever that person is in the office. I would ve paid any price to have work done on my tires, but the attitude from that man handling my quote was uncalled for and very unprofessional.

Eagle Tire and Automotive is my go to for everything tires. They have a small shop feel to them, and they know your name after a job. BONUS, if they sell you tires, they always have your back. More than once I reached for my wallet they the desk said, "You don't owe anything, enjoy!" Recommended for mom, daughters and grandmas..they are very honest.

I had a flat tire on a Saturday morning and was able to drop it off and come back in an hour. It was quickly installed and the spare carefully stowed when I came back for a very reasonable charge. Great service!

I know when I drop my cars off here they'll be fixed correctly and that we will never be ripped off. Only automotive place where I've found this to be true. We don't even ask what it will cost ahead of time because we know it'll be fair. We've been coming here for years. A couple of times we could have been charged but were not since things were still under warranty. I would have never know if they weren't.Services: Tires, Battery

Sometimes pricey, always efficient. I love coming here, they know me and my husband by name. I've been going here for years and have never been disappointed. They don't try to swindle you out of your cash. It's worth the little extra they charge for labor for the amazing work they do. I've had services done with them and has question or a last issue and they tell me to bring it right in and don't charge for the additional inspection or work they have to do. I would recommend them to anyone, anytime. Thanks Eagle Tire!

Good service, experienced techs. Helped us fix a problem with our tires wearing out too fast. Pep boys had put an arm in backwards!

Friday morning of July 2, 2021, 200+ miles from home, and we get warning lights on the dash of our 2014 Toyota Sienna. An unscrupulous shop could have used this as a *perfect* excuse to rip off a traveler far from home. Instead the front desk manager explained what the warnings likely meant, assured us that we were good to continue our journey, and wished us well. If I lived anywhere near Gig Harbor Washington *THIS* would be my "go to" auto shop!
