I cannot say enough great things about this business. Took my Buick Enclave in for work on the AC. The staff is amazing! So friendly and welcoming. Very clean and comfortable waiting area. My vehicle was fixed right and at a very fair price. I trust Pete and his team. He earned my business for life. Thank you!!

Took my Corolla S in for Oil Change and service. My car came back under budget, cleaner, AND THEY FIXED MY SCREWED UP GLOVE BOX... That would not close properly!!!They did not charge me for this! Wow, thanks for such great service!

Pete's Auto Repair has always done a great job. I've taken my vehicle there twice and they met or exceeded my expectations. The staff is very friendly and easy to work with. It is difficult to find a really good auto shop today but I feel that I've struck gold with Pete's Auto Repair.Service: TiresService: Tires

This shop is one of the best in the area, the personnel are always courteous and friendly. I would like to say a big thank you to Allie who helped us with our tires when it was frozen and windy last Wednesday (Dec 21). She was able to accomodate us even without an appointment. We went to 3 gas stations with little luck and help to get some air for our car tires but Allie was willing to help us even double checked our tires and didn't even ask us to pay. We are not a regular customer but the customer service experience we had was excellent. I highly recommend Pete's Auto Repair! Again, thank you so much Allie and Pete's Auto Repair! I had a very positive experience here. Everyone I interacted with was kind and friendly. The service advisor, Allie, explained the issues very well and even showed me my very dirty air filter. It has been many years since someone at a repair shop has shown me a bad or worn part. The cost was reasonable. Overall, the oil change went very well! Thank you! I ll be back.Service: Oil change

My cars check engine light came on, while on vacation, Pete's didn't have any appts available but said if I brought the car in they could read the code and help me as much as they can. I arrived and they were super friendly, read the code, gave me advice and assurance I would make it home and they didn't charge me for it. Great people! And I made it home!

Way over priced. I went in for a simple oil and fuel filter change. A reasonable price is usually $350 to $400 at dealerships or other shops. Pete's price after the fact was an astounding $762. I understand the shop rate. That is a normal price per hour. Just not to efficient. I'm not a mechanic, but even I can do the work as fast as Pete's place can. Further more, I was charged 80% mark up on materials and charged for product I DID NOT ask for.

Pete's Auto repair has been by far the best mechanic shop I've ever worked with. They are very knowledgeable, honest, courteous, and very professional. Additionally, they are very reasonable with their prices and don't try to make you do unnecessary repairs like other shops I've experienced.They repaired my 07 RAM 2500 diesel as well as my 05 Toyota Highlander so they have a wide range of skills and knowledge. They also did it for a few hundred dollars less than what I was quoted at other local repair shops as well. I will not ever use another mechanic again! Pete's is fantastic.

I had my first oil change at Pete's Auto this week after my brother, who owns our family shop Terry's Automotive in Olympia since 1976, recommended after giving it a thorough review of approval!I could not be any happier, they were efficient completing the task within 1 hour and even going the extra mile to wash the inside and outside windows.I am thrilled I (my brother :) ) found a family owned shop that I can trust locally without having to travel to Olympia to have work on our cars!Thank you!

Allie & Pete went above and beyond and stayed late to get me & my Mom back on the road after we had an EVAP leak (gas fumes in the car and check engine light on). AAA & all local tow trucks were over booked due to the snow storm but Pete did a quick repair (at no charge, just a Merry Christmas!) so that we could safely drive the 100 miles home that night. Our scary, frustrating, night had an unexpected happy ending thanks to the wonderful, kind, team at Pete's Auto Repair..Service: Auto engine diagnostic

I won't say I dislike this place. But I will say they told me I needed a new motor when I really needed a vacuume line, and they told me "we don't do engine work"...take your car somewhere that can fix it if you have any major car issues.That being said everyone is polite and they know how to treat a customer. This is a perfect shop for an oil change or to get your breaks done

Made an appointment to get my door hinge pins and bushings replaced. Brought it in a week later and they did the job in just an hour and a half and the door no longer sags and it shuts perfect. They were prompt, proffesional and very nice. Pete's Auto Repair is now my go to shop.

I brought my car in at 1:30 left at 3:30 and was charged $395.00 for labor with only one mechanic working on it.. When I asked their shop rate, was told it was $90.00 per hour. I then asked why I was charged $395.00 for two hours labor = $200 per hour. The nice young lady could not explain why. She seemed to think that it was OK.Rather than fight about it, I have made a number of copies of the bill and are handing them out to friends and neighbors. Immediately walked into my office building, showed the bill to my coworkers they were shocked. By the way one "was" a loyal customer, he was stunned.

Pete's is local, family-owned, honest, dependable, affordable and features a comfortable waiting room with a surprising array of amenities. The technicians here are dedicated and meticulous. For the quality of the work provided, the prices are really reasonable! Some of their customers have been coming for all 26 years that they've been open. I'm glad I found this shop - they seem like the type of business you can trust.

When my alternator failed on my drive back from Seattle to Vancouver, Canada, I was pretty stressed. Would my car make it the extra 40 minutes or would I be stranded on the side of the I5? I was fortunate enough to be near Ferndale, and Pete's Auto. I made it to the shop and even though it was 3:45 on a Friday (they close at 5, the tech finishes at 4:30, no work over the weekend) they took the car in and diagnosed it. They gave the option of charging it fully and I could see if it made it, or keeping the car over the weekend. I wasn't thrilled about going back to Canada without my Challenger, but I also didn't like the idea of my girlfriend and I (on our first trip together) being stranded, regardless of how close to the border we were. So I decided to leave the car to be repaired on Monday, and tried to make alternate arrangments to get to Bellingham so we could catch a greyhound. Usually this is where the review would end, but Pete himself went seriously above and beyond - allowing us to stay in the shop after it closed so we could charge our phones, recommending a great Mexican restaurant where we could grab a bite while we waited, even offering a lift to Bellingham. Like I said, WAY above and beyond. We ended up being able to get a lift from one of our family members and by 11 AM on Monday the car was ready to be picked up. I don't know what I would have done without Pete's and I can't thank them enough. The price was fair, the work was well done, and everyone was incredibly kind and helpful. Thanks Pete, you saved our bacon and made a significantly stressful experience a lot easier. I would recommend this place to everyone that needs automotive work.
