Jay is a good guy who is honest and does great work. Im my experience these combined qualities are very hard to find in a mechanic shop today. I would recommend him to anyone and I frequently do.

I love Jay's. They are fast, honest, fair, helpful, kind and trustworthy. They go out of their way to help. The best place to take your vehicle in my opinion. I feel important and valued. I am so grateful that they are here in Dayton.

This place is A+ in my book. Its great service fast service and very well done. The prices are very reasonable. If the parts not available he gets it over night. On a personal experience my friend took her car in for work, when it was finished she paid and left in her carThe car ended up breaking down an hour later. Jays garage came and got her car took it to shop and found that her head gasket had blown. Jay reimbursed her the entire amount plus 250 to buy her car. Very very honest place to go.

Super impressed with this business. Jay worked my issue into an already packed schedule and patiently explained everything in depth. Ely gave me critical consult on how dealerships operate, and the beautiful Zandra (Office Manager) has some of the best customer relations skills I ve encountered. They gained a family of new customers today.

Just passing through town for a couple weeks, and needed new tires before I left to go back to Texas. Jay discovered a couple issues I was unaware of, and will be finishing the work needed before I leave. He's been very friendly, and professional. Even offered to take me back to my RV, and pick me up when my truck was ready. 100% recommend going here if you need any vehicle servicing.

My husband knows his rigs and quickly discovered Jay did as well. He was quite content letting Jay work on them knowing he knew his stuff, had fair prices, and incredible customer service. Just before we moved, many things needed done on one rig and all was taken care of in a timely manner. Once we moved, we wished we could take Jay with us! 10 months later, we came back to visit during the hottest time of the summer. When our air conditioning went out and my 8 month old son was so miserable, i went to Jay the next day and without hesitation, he understood my unique situation, got me in the same day, and had it completely fixed the next day. We are lifers anytime we re in his neck of the woods. Now to clone him and take him back to where we live... thanks for going above and beyond, Jay!

Jay was recommended by my mechanic Randy Alexander for an issue that needed more intensive troubleshooting, and I knew the moment I met Jay my truck was in great hands. Not only did he methodically and with great patience & kindness find the answer to fix it, he found an unknown problem with a leaking pump. He is a Ford Master Mechanic, and my 2003 Ranger couldn't have been in better hands. His staff are courteous, professional and go the extra mile for his customers. And they serve the best coffee from Reys Roast!

I recently had a problem with my 2006 Roadtrek RV van with a Mercedes drive train, while driving through Dayton, WA. Blue smoke trailed me as I drove through town and upon stopping, the vehicle would not move in gear. It was close to 5PM and someone directed me to Jay's Garage. Jay had me park beside his garage overnight and supplied me with electricity, a blessing with the 90 degree heat. The van was in the garage at 8AM, and a broken transmission cooling line was fixed along with a new drive belt and pulley. It was not the way I had planned to end a 5,000 mile road trip. Dayton is fortunate to have Jay's Garage, a top notch auto repair facility.Service: Transmission

I bought some used wheels/tires from Jay. It's always a little iffy when you are buying something over the internet and driving a distance to pick it up. But everything was just as he said it would be, and he gave me an even better deal than advertised.

Overtightened my lugs to the point of getting stripped and then when asked to fix, wanted to charge me additional costs for the mistakes he made. I new I shoulda took to a real mechanic but wanted to try to keep my money local. Last time he ever gets my business

So far this is the only automotive repair shop that I've ever come across the treat you fairly nothing's hidden and there to actually please the customer. It's nice to know that my faith in mankind has been renewed again
