I have been coming to Iron Springs Resort for 22 years with family and friends. It is about time that I write a review. This is one of favorited holiday spots. It is a naturally beautiful, quite and peaceful location with the sights and sounds of the ocean surf constantly soothing us. A walk on the beach is exhilerating and lovely. We stumble from cabin to cabin with our friend group for dinner, games and good times. It is the best and I look forward to the trip every year. We moved from WA a couple of years ago and will keep coming back to Iron Springs. Thank you ISR!

Greeted by friendly staff who were very helpful and cheerful. Stayed in cabin 4 for four days. Huge stone wood burning fireplace, fully stocked kitchen, comfortable big bed, high quality linens, nice deck, exceptional view, direct access to the beach and can listen to the ocean day and night. I was super impressed how dog friendly the resort is. They provide dog bowls, dog towels, doggie bag stations, and a free ball! Love the store. Has high quality choice of foods and snacks. I ll definitely be back!!

We love a dog friendly resort and have been to Iron Springs many times. Our last visit 8/29-8/31 was marred by an unfortunate incident. The employees who were staying in the cabin beneath ours smoked pot to the point our entire cabin reeked of marijuana smell. I had to call the front desk to complain and they said they would handle it. Something must have happened as it didn't occur again during our stay. I find it odd that they have a strict no smoking policy but their staff doesn't seem to understand that.I would hope that the management team would do more than just speak to their employees about this. It's just not acceptable for employees to partake on company property. It seems counterintuitive to being a family friendly resort. We will think twice about booking again.

Great vacation spot. My family has been coming here since the 60s and came out annually. Each cabin has a great view of Copalis Beach and early in the morning when the tide is low you can walk out close to the rock formation way off in the distance. I remember coming here when there was a pool which is now a grassy knoll at the entrance. You have to make reservations because the cabins fill up throughout the year. It s in a great location not too far from Ocean Shores and Hoquiam/Aberdeen.

We just got back from our stay at Iron Springs. What a wonderful experience!! This was our first trip to the Northwest, so we weren t sure if we were doing it right. We used Iron Springs as our base for exploring Olympic National Park. Well, we couldn t have asked for a better location or base camp. The cabin was large, with every amenity you could possibly want. The view was incredible; we slept every night with the bedroom window open and listened to the ocean. Laundry was convenient and free! We hope to be back; we loved everything about Iron Springs .and fell in love with Washington. The picture is the view from our main room.

Lovely place. Accomodations are top rate. Most (if not all) cabins have a gorgeous view of the Pacific Ocean. You can walk or drive to the beach. You can also drive on the beach near here and at Ocean Shores. We Highly recommend Iron Springs Resort. Some might feel like it's a bit pricey here, but it's fair when you consider the views, nice accomodations and they are dog friendly!Rooms: The cabins are very comfortable, clean and provide all you need for a perfect vacation.

This is our 5th year spending a few days here over Thanksgiving. Every cabin has been excellent, each with different ocean views. Wood for the fireplace (or wood stove) is delivered daily. Each cabin is immaculate yet homey. The kitchens are very well stocked with utensils & if you forget some small item (like honey or need more wine) the little store at the office likely has it. Our dogs like it here, too. We have reserved again next year .it is worth the six hour drive.

My five star room ratings comes with a caveat. These are NOT five-star accommodations, but five star experience cabins. The atmosphere, location and lack of tourists make an outstanding getaway.Lastly, 3-star service is NOT a knock on Iron Springs, this is a bring your food and entertainment with you destination.Having a grand visit, even with rain.

Pros: Cool place, very scenic with a beautiful ocean view. Close to good hiking and a budding vacation village. Extensive DVD library of classics to pick from.Cons: icy rain covered their steep hilly drive ways during our stay and they barely salted any of it. Also got a lengthy post-stay email detailing additional fees owed that had obviously incorrect math and did not reflect the original statement given.

Love this place! The cabins are roomy and well-stocked. Iron Springs Resort will give you wood and matches for free, and each cabin comes with a fireplace (since it gets a bit cold in the cabins in the winter, it s perfect!)The beach is also beautiful. It s long enough to go for a good walk but sandy enough to play on. You can also drive on the sand nearby which is definitely an experience!Overall, 10/10. I especially like being able to see the stars at night, and the front desk was super helpful.Word of warning: There s very little service so make sure to tie up loose ends before going to Iron Springs or feel free to use the landline in the cabins :)

Awesome get away right on a cliff overlooking the beach and the ocean. The cabins are so well equipped and stocked that they set a new high bar for the quality of rental accommodation. Having stayed just up the road at Pacific beach with not enough chairs or coffee mugs for all the visitors, I was very pleasantly surprised to find just how well and thoughtfully they are furnished.

Beautiful location. The cabins are comfortable and clean. The beds are especially comfy. The full kitchen worked very well and we grilled on the back deck overlooking the Pacific ocean listening to the surf. We walked to the beach each day and our grandchildren loves splashing in the cold water and playing in the sand.

This place was like going to a retreat! We stayed in cabin 3 and were so happy there. We could see the creek, ocean, and all the happy families and dogs walking to and from the beach. It was very entertaining. The cabin was beautifully decorated and clean. We will definitely come back.

From the perspective of my Boxer dogs:Iron Springs is one of our favorite places! We get to spend days and nights with our person and her parents and their poodoo (poodle). We don't understand why the poodoo doesn't want to romp with us on the beaches. But, we get to spend lots of time by the fire (firewood included) and exploring the trails. Sometimes, our person loads us into the truck for a trip to the Salty Dog in Seabrook, or up or down the coast to a different beach. Mostly, we love the opportunity to hang out with our person and her people. They rave about how comfortable the beds are and how nice the staff is. But, we're just two boxers who are thankful for romps on the beach and snores by the fire.

Been here twice, will be back. Clean, well stocked and isolated, with a beautiful walk to the beach and a couple lovely trails. Our toddler loves the water and the birds, and our baby enjoyed lots of time in the carrier. I enjoyed a quiet drink by the fire or watching the sunset.

Please if you can go here! I would book out your trip a year ahead of time because they do fill up fast. The price is a bit high but if you go with a group of people it isn't that bad. You can even take your dog!!! It is always so clean. The staff is always so nice.

Wonderful, restorative, peaceful, lovely venue! My 3 sisters and I spent an extended weekend at Iron Springs and loved every minute of it. The True family has done an excellent job of renovating and maintaining the cabins, so you get the rustic feel with all of the creature comforts included. Family and pet friendly, fully equipped kitchens, wood-burning fireplaces, comfy beds and furniture, free movies you can borrow from the office-general store... All cabins have views of Copalis Beach and ocean sunsets. Well-marked trails for hiking and exploring. Unlimited, uncrowded beach access... I can't think of a better place to get away from the rat race, unwind, breathe in fresh air, take walks, enjoy the sites and sounds of nature... and return home, rested, renewed to plan your next visit to this wonderland. Everyone we encountered was friendly and grateful to be there. I met one woman who has been coming there for 35 years. That's a solid indicator of how special this place truly is. I will definitely be going back, hopefully for many, many years. I'll also be recommending it to everyone. Thanks so very much for an incredible stay!

This was a great place for a 3-day getaway. The cabins were cozy and well furnished. We especially liked the good selection of kitchen utensils for preparing our meals. The staff were friendly and helpful. And it was in a beautiful setting overlooking the ocean. Very relaxing and enjoyable.
