We needed to see daughter at EWU. This close by and pet "friendly". We at least got a ground floor room for ease of walking the dog, but we were charged so many extra fees. Extra for the kid, extra for the dog, extra deposit, extra.... ran the price up quite a bit. Our reasonably priced room came out to well OVER $100/night. Room was of questionable cleanliness, and I have dogs so low standards. Also I believe the light switch for the bathroom being INSIDE the shower is a building code issue. For the price after all the added fees, we could have gotten better. Not happy and will never be back. Any other ratings over one or 2 stars should be tossed.

Not what I expected for the price. Room was small, hot water and shower were ridiculous. The water in shower kept changing temp. There was also a 40 deposit that was not mentioned when I reserved room. When I reserved room the advertisement stated rooms were pet friendly, there was no mention of additional charge for pets. I think this extra charge for a pet and the deposit should have been mentioned when 1st making reservations. It seems deceptive to me to say pet friendly but not say anything about it costing more and even more deceptive to not mention deposit. Not impressed. Will not be staying again.

The room the rooms were filthy nothing was fixed it looked in shambles uh oh and let me tell you that disability goes to the third floor not first and I'm disabled and I'm up on the third floor this place is not it used to be used to be nice but now it's not the rooms are clean it's filthy and everything's broke old TVs dressers everything else they quote you it's 1200 but they actually comes out to be 1500 because they like double taxing you if you have a pet remember you have to pay a pet every time you go back in monthly weekly or daily you have to rent the room you got to play the pet deposit again and again and again so that ain't fair so somebody's jerking somebody here very poor very very poor

There is no appliances in the room the one microwave is in the office and that s on a time frame. They take a deposit and don t give it back, I was traveling on business so it s not like I can go get my security deposit back. So just be mindful that this place is just there for you to sleep and that s all. Oh don t get off work late and think that you can use the microwave they will have an attitude with you.

First off, we've paid for rooms for other people to stay in. We just figured it was a roach motel. This time, I stayed in a room. It was surprisingly clean at first glance; the deodorizer they used prolly helped but I've stayed in places 2-3x the price and it reaked of smoke and etc.The weekend was not busy. Turns out, people live there. Room was on 2nd floor. The people we put there were on 1st floor. The website is out of date. Maybe the rooms have microwave/fridge. But frankly, just about every place I've stayed be it Red Lion (now part of the Ruby group), Travelodge (formerly Knights on Division), Mirabeau (love that place), Holiday Inn, Motel 6 (guh) and several others, the microwaves you wouldn't WANT to use. And the fridges don't work.I think the website said something about room service or food delivery. Wen you drive in, across from the Gerardos, there had been some sort of restaurant years ago. I think food was made and brought from over there. And the website photos, motel is NOT that color.Train noise wasn't an issue for me. I wear ear plugs at night. Also, I wasn't a traveler this time; just needed a place to stay for a few days. The Good:-Bed was clean and actually comfy. All I could think was "...something to be said about 2 old box spring mattresses vs all the technology of memory foam, motorized beds, etc"-Ample room for 1 person. Maybe even 2?-Not only did the tv work, but the remote works!-Almost no noise from people. The noise that there was, sounded like they were right outside the door.-Bathroom was clean! Towels clean too.-Air conditioning unit works. As does baseboard heater.-Walking distance to Zips and Gerardos (food options)-Wifi had no issues other than the usual disconnects that's normal in town. At least it wasn't raining. The Bad:-Hot water disappeared very quickly-On further inspection, while it looks clean, the room coulda used a good wipe down on the walls (where you can see people threw stuff around). With the exception of gum in the carpet, felt clean to walk on (this coming from a guy who wears slides indoors)-Lighting is actually good. But the light bulbs vary from warm ambient to regular lighting to the bathroom light that took awhile to warm up-Bathroom fan didn't work.-Most of the outlets have been well loved. For your chargers, your best bet are the outlets that the lamps by the bed or the one by the sink. (the latter is pushing it)

Acceptable budget motel, suitable for a frugal individual such as myself. There isn't a fridge or microwave in the room, and you can hear nearby freight trains, even in the middle of the night. Air conditioning worked well in 40+ degree Celsius (104 F) weather. Didn't have any issues with the cleanliness of the room and there was sufficient parking. I had multiple interactions with an older gentleman (who I assume is the owner) and he made a concerted effort to be friendly and helpful, despite a bit of a language barrier.

You get what you pay for. This is a no frills basic motel room. No fridge,, no microwave.. There was a folded up brochure under one corner of the dresser to keep the drawers from sliding out, but it worked! There was some dust/grime around the sink counter, but the sheets were clean! It's very close to the train tracks and we did hear a lot of train noise, but unless you are a light sleeper, it's fine. Got a good night's sleep and got out.Food & drinks: Walk to Zip's 24 hrs or walk to a mexican restaurant next door.

Honestly, we d been driving all day, it was late, we were tired and desperate for a pet-friendly place to stay. We found this place and while the outside was questionable rundown appearance and lots of traffic/movement despite it being late on a weekday, we thought we d still give it a chance. The owner was friendly and check in was easy. The lobby area shed light that this was seemingly used for more extended stay guests than people passing through. Once we got to our room .I just physically was unable to stay. It had a bad smell and just made you feel dirty as you walked in. I knew that I could not comfortably sleep there and we d asked for a refund, which was provided to us without issue. Ironically, as I was coming to ask for a refund, the owner was attempting to stop me to pay more for having two vs one dog (misunderstand from check-in) which blows my mind as I ve stayed at much nicer/cleaner hotels with our dogs with significantly less fees the fact that they are pet friendly is great, but the fees do not match what you re getting. We honestly found more peace of mind and better sleep in our car for the night than in this hotel. It would need a complete overhaul for me to feel comfortable staying general updates, increased cleaning, and maybe a separation of areas between the extended stay guests and those just passing through with more monitoring of the general conduct of the guests as a whole. It just felt like it lived up to this stereotypical rundown vibe, sketchy characters included. I think it could be a quirky roadside hotel but again, it does need some work It s hard to say I d even recommend this if you re desperate, as we were desperate and still couldn t do it

The pros are: the bed was comfortable, the basics were provided. The cons: Checking in I had a hard time understanding the person. I actually had to have him write it down. They keep $40 which is refunded on your credit card, I wondered if the credit would go thru quickly and it did.No coffee maker, refrigerator, microwave , ironing board, hair dryer. in the room.but coffee in the lobby, which is run down. You can see day light thru the door jam;)Cheap towels, bring your own shampoo and soap. What they give you is very very small.Outside noise is expected, trains, motorcycyles , etcBottom line, you get what you pay for.

Such a cute hotel! Kind of cheap. But not. Like it's a hotel you expect to be weekly at like 300$ a week or something. But the price isn't that. We paid 75 a night. It was honestly my favorite in the Spokane area and I will be back someday. The beds are SUPER soft. Like clouds you slip off into Dreamland on. They were warm with body heat after a bit to the point that I thought the bed was heated lol. But no it just stayed very warm from our bodies and held it better than I am used to.I believe this hotel must have been a big deal back in the day. A train runs right behind it that made you imagine it must have been a pivotal place in the 50s, 60s, or 70s. Super cool place. Biggest issue was the porch had weak spots on it that felt a tad ominous. You might fall through feeling. But I am pretty sure you won't. They should fix it though.Second would be the door. It looked old and warped and kept catching on itself and making a horrible crack noise when opened and closed. If your in Cheney, I suggest giving them a try.

Loud, floors feel like falling through. Rooms stink like cigarettes even though they're supposed to be non-smoking rooms. There was somebody outside yelling the whole night during our stay when called tried to call down to the front office phone was not connected. I earnestly don't know if they clean the bedding in between people if it's not used I know the spread is not changed in between customers. The bathrooms smell like they use the dirty rags that we use to wash with moldy musky and mildewy. I did not see no cleaning supplies on the room housekeeping was cleaning I seen them carry in clean towels carry out dirty towels and that is it. When I pulled back the sheets I decided to use my own bedding. For a non-smoking room I had sheets full of holes cigarette Burns weed Burns just burns.

Exactly what one would expect for a $60 motel room. It was a place to get ready and crash after a girls night out. It is quite dated and not as clean as it could be... however it worked for what we needed. Beds were not terrible, or great; just okay. Neighborhood seemed relatively safe. Doors need weatherstripping replaced, but the heater worked so it was fine.

A bit outdated, but clean. Bed is comfortable. It s a cheap room. Quiet, aside from an occasional train. Parking lot is well lit, felt safe. The water is hot and pressure is good. The heater wasn t working well, so the manager brought us an extra heater. No frills. Just sleep, shower and leave. Worked for us for a night.

This is our second time staying here. It's cheap, fairly clean, outdated, near the train tracks (but with the AC on its barely noticeable), close to good food and bars. We will stay here again. Just know, it's a fine place to stay, but it's not fancy. You can hear everyone that walks by your door, but otherwise the room noise isn't bad. The location to bars/restaurants is very beneficial.

Tiny, clean room, nice comfortable bed. If you are a subdivision sleeper, you be fine. Otherwise, thin wall, talking neighbors noise from halls will challenge your sleep so will whistle from hourly train.

The gentleman always remembers his best customers, when you walk in, regardless of how many times you have been to his motel, he greets with a smile, he and his wife are the only staff on hand. The wife only speaks their native language and will call in her husband from the back room. If you know and speak their native language, you get assisted by which one comes first. They are appreciative of respectful customers and are are confident in their abilities. If you need anything adjusted such as a showerhead needing tightened, they will certainly fix that even if it means waiting on parts and relocating you to a different room. Be honest and humble and you will always be treated better.

Well, it really wasnt all that bad. The guy that checked me in was alright. Not too excited but fair enough. The guy that checked me out was very friendly. The rooms were accommodating. The only thing that wasnt all that great was fhe people with flashlights getting into their cars and reparking and stuff at 4am. Other than that, for the price, it really was better than I thought or expected it to be.

It's a dive. I've stayed there 3x now, every room needs serious remodeling/ repair work ( dont try to use the stove in room 115, the back burner arks). But the sheets are clean, the water is hot and plentiful. The beds are firm and very comfortable. The door locks work. Its quiet and has fast internet. The management is friendly and if you pay another 10 bucks you can keep your dog with you in the room. No elevator to the upper floors so if you cant do stairs well ask for a ground level room. There are trains behind but I liked the noise. It didnt bother me at all.

I don't know why the reviews on this hotel were so poor. Me and my husband went and stayed there 3 weeks ago and we're coming back again this upcoming weekend. This place was clean quiet and a great priceI cannot recommend this place enough it is well worth it.. coming back again and again!

Conveniently located near fast food and convenience stores. Friendly staff. Rooms are nice but seems to clash in color. We didn't have a tv guide in our room. Motel is really close to train tracks - it gets loud at night.

The room was not clean. It had what appeared to be blood on the ceiling. The door knob to the bathroom was broken. The bathtub was dirty and did not look sanitary. There was a massive empty wooden box taking up space in the room. The shower water went cold after about only 5 minutes of use. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. There was a train that would go by (very close) and wake us up every couple of hours. No coffee maker in room.
