My daughter got a oil change today. Is oil supposed to be dark after getting a fresh oil change? and she paid 130.00 @ a place. I just got mine done for a cheaper price and it was clear.I always check.I hope you guys charge cheaper. Honestly I think my daughter needs to get a refund or them to do it right properly. My dad always taught me to look at your oil after somebody has changed it immediately to make sure it's clear and done. I'm not going to say what place did this to my daughter's car that's not right.

We are in the middle of moving and the Radiator.....it overheated for sure but didn't know what happened.A neighbor came to look that previously had a shop and thought it was a hose.I called around and Dr Zigs who doesn't do Radiators anymore (super nice informative guy) said no one in our area does Radiators anymore but suggested a few place who couldn't get us in til mid September or later (just for a hose). I know a lot of places are backed up from other car issues.I called Ernies, super friendly, and they walked me thru nursing the car here (same thing my friend said: fill with water 1st, bring extra jugs of water, leave cap off).I drove right in, and a TEAM of guys checked it all out (it was a hose, yeah).They found a few noticeable other things too.We did need an oil change anyway so we got that done and they replaced a broken screw $9 & and filter $20 & told us we were ready for new tires and a power steering flush and they showed me.I knew about the tires, but I appreciate respecting that I am a curious female, showing me and talking to me like I have a brain and that they are proactive. I don't like to find out after, when it's a bigger problem.We have storage in town, so I will be by to get some needed car issues remedied while whittling that down.I am really sorry I haven't been coming here for the last 20 years.I love the FULL SERVICE approach.I knew the car wasn't feeling right and looks like I was correct and glad to have it verified.

My car had been struggling (engine shake/tremble) when the rpm is between 1500-2000 and speed between 35-40 mph. I've taken my car at the Portland Toyota dealership and had a terrible service which left the car unfixed for over a year!I finally had it and did research online and between that and my gut feel, I deduce the issue could be the transmission... And went to Ernie's.I asked for a transmission flush and explained my problem away to Glen, he suggested an approach that will be gentle to the transmission but did not make any promises that it would solve my problem... I appreciate the honesty and transparency. I went with my gut and his team flush/replace transmission fluids through until the fluids were acceptable as can be given how bad/black the old fluids were... So far, my the odd shaking and noise is gone and keeping my fingers crossed!Definitely recommend this gem in Chehalis! Keep it up guys! Great team!

Ernie s Rapid Lube is a great place to take your vehicle to for servicing. The staff is very professional and courteous. They give you accurate recommendations that are beneficial to the operation of your car or truck. They found some things I did not see and saved me from more problems down the road.I take all my vehicles there for oil changes and will take will them to Ernie when they are in need of repairs. They are truly an honest auto shop and I highly recommend them.Services: Electrical, Battery, Oil change

Top notch service on my e92 BMW m3. I will return for future oil changes. It took a really long time to get my oil right because my car is not like most. They got it just right and spent time helping me. Great guys. Thank you again. -Dylan Martin

Wow super fast checked my lights. Washer fluid. Showed me my air filter, didn't need new one. Found three lights where out got those fixed. It felt like I had a whole team working on my car. This is my new oil change spot. Super job. Still happy with them only been having them do oil changes.

Like everyone else says, this is a fantastic business! These guys had me in and out for an oil change in about 5 minutes and were very pleasant. And my windshield has never been cleaner. Wow, this place is just great. I've been to several other auto shops in the area and felt pushed aside and taken advantage of every time.Not these guys though. As soon as you drive in, a team of dudes swarms your car and starts cleaning your windows, topping off your tires, and asking what you need. Every step of the process (which was, like 20 minutes tops) they kept me informed, asked me if they should do this or that, and kept me updated on the running total.I drove away with new fluids, full tires, clean windows, and only 20 minutes of my day taken. They did an amazing job and got me in sooner than anyone else! Also on top of it they are super friendly and cheaper than everyone else! Would highly recommend for anything you need done on your car that they are capable of doing! Don't waste your time going anywhere else! I used to have a restoration garage and physically I am unable to do anything mechanical anymore. I have a really hard time trusting other shops with my car. They were highly recommend due to my complaints about the last oil change I received. They had me pull in and remain in my car. They checked all my lights, brakes, tire pressure, power steering fluid, coolant. All of the employees were there working on my car to get me in and out. I never got that crazy feeling of what are they doing to my car? Will my car be ok when I leave. I see know why they have been voted #1for 11 years. I will go back they are trusted!!!Service: Oil change

I usually have to call in ahead of time to ensure an oil change facility has the filter and proper synthetic oil to accommodate my compact car. Glen promptly took my call, answered all of my questions and welcomed me to drop by when I requested in the early afternoon.When we arrived we didn t have to wait. We were politely greeted, guided into the service bay while a swarm of team members went to work. They changed my air filter, oil, refilled my windshield wiper fluid, replaced my rear license plate bulb and processed my transaction in the time it took to have an amicable conversation with a friendly service member. Per my estimation, we were in-and-out (without stepping out of the comfort of our vehicle) within LESS than 10 minutes.An oil change is something you have to do. I look forward to returning to Ernie s, a facility of top-notch individuals who give a firm handshake, work quickly and keep their word. Took my truck in for a quick oil change (1 hour.)Also asked them to change fuel filter. A simple task. They broke the cap to fuel filter and charged me 80 dollars for something they broke. Total for fuel filter and oil change 480 bucks! Imo outrages. We voiced our displeasure and they said they d reimburse us 40 dollars. Went home and parked truck only to come back to a huge pile of fuel on the ground, coming from fuel filter cap they replaced. I m guessing 100 bucks in fuel lost. Now they are costing me time and money. This is just my honest experience, take it for what it is. Years prior they changed my wife s air filter and didn t install properly resulting in her car to mist and cutt out down the road from incorrect air flow.Service: Oil change

The service was thorough and everyone answered my questions in a way that helped me understand what was going on! Amazing customer service. Very quick and knowledgeable.It's a drive-in oil change so you never even have to get out of your car. They check your lights, wash your windshield, check the air filter - all included with the oil change.Love their services! Highly recommend.

Pulled into their big driveway, remember the entrance is before/beside the shop, and waited a moment behind the current customers rig.Friendly smile and a wave let me know my turn was next, guiding over their working area. Staff was quick to make sure to understand what all I needed. Just an oil change. But they went ahead and double checked the common maintenance items and aired up the tires from the mornings cold spell. Discovered some dirty Differential gear oil, and went ahead with replacing it here. Only another 15minutes of work, and well worth the price to ensure everything runs good.Before we knew it, I was out the door and ready to continue my morning errands. Immediately felt good on the road, just a little smoother and happier with the new fluids!Definitely a great pitstop for any motorist large or small.

I love going to these guys for my car services. They're quick efficient and worth every penny. I had a squealing happening every time I used my brakes and one of the stag actually informed me that with some newer cars they use a new kind of brake that when they get wet they start to rust and that's why it was squealing. He recommended I switch back to regular good ol brakes and the squeal is gone. Couldn't be more pleased with the knowledge and patience these guys share.

Ernie's is hand down the best rapid lube experience I have ever had. They were extremely professional, nice and did what I asked for and more. The guys are incredible. They check everything without the hard sell. Tightened up my battery connections and identified some other issues for future consideration.Traditional service at a reasonable price. I appreciate this as it is long forgotten at many other places.

We were traveling in our 28 Class C RV from Detroit to the Pacific Coast and it was time for an oil change. I found Ernie s online and called. They assured me oil changes on RV s were routine and would accommodate Mobil One oil and a filter, if I supplied them.We went there on June 7. The service was outstanding. The mechanic, the advisor and manager were all very attentive and thorough We had the differential fluid changed as well.Frankly their attention to detail, their work performance and friendliness was worth every penny spent.If you are traveling through or living in the area and need service, I would not hesitate to stop at Ernie s. They perform other automotive services as well. I suspect if you had an RV And needed help you could stop there and rely on their service or they could refer you to another reliable RV service center.Thank you- Ernie s
