Troy is one heck of a tuner and mechanic... If you own a Hemi powered anything, he is a God among men when it comes to working on these.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Dings has always been honest, reasonable prices and usually finishes before scheduled. I could not imagine taking my vehicle any where else. I recommend them to everyone.

They had my 1995 ford F250 for at least three weeks. They were supposed to do a couple repairs. Almost every repair that they did made my truck worse. Broke the steering wheel, broke the shift indicator, broke the horn, replaced bad steering column with an equal if not worse steering column, didn't swap out the ignition switch, so now I have to carry 2 keys. They said they threw away my old steering column, so I couldn't even swap it myself. The bill was $4000, they gave me a $200 credit for my troubles. I talked with who I thought was the owner, who told me he would personally take care of the problems. Once I dove away, I never heard from them again. Prior to this they treated me very well, so I thought I found a solid mechanic that I could count on. I was wrong. I could say this was a bad experience, but really all I can say is the whole experience was truly unbelievable.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Honest and dependable mechanic. I have used them for years and love the fact that they are a no bs mechanic. They are better priced then competitors located just a few blocks away and are not just another mechanic or shop, they are car enthusiast who truly care about their customers. I refer all of my friends and family to them. And contrary to the name it's not just a body shop they rebuilt part of my engine and my baby (car that I love so much) is running great!

Another fantastic trip. Im a car guy, and drive over 120 miles each way to have Dings be the only people to touch my car. (Excluding tires, body work and maybe oil changes.)I've had everything done from an oil change and regular maintenance, to major rebuild and upgrades.Never left anyway other than pleased with the service and quality of work.Highly recommend!

Took my car in Friday 230ish. Brake lights were shorten out, staying on and killing my battery. Easy fix they'd try to get to it before they closed. They stayed late. Jenn thanks. Car was ready and they delivered my keys so I could pick it up at my convenience. Thanks again jenn

They were super understanding and helpful when it came to my limitations with funds for the job. Not only were they all professional and friendly, it was the little things that really pused me to write this review. When I bought my car the plastic shell on the driver's side on the inside was loose (by the windshield) I asked the salesman if that could be fixed before I bought it they said the would have to ship this specific screw or something so I just thought I would live with it. I normally use my visit to keep it from getting in the way of my vision when driving. When I picked up my car they had screwed it in for me! It was such a little thing that drove me crazy that they didn't have to do but now makes my life a little easier! Over all great experience they really take care of you.

The highest quality of service i have ever recieved from a business hands down. Troy is very knowledgeable and easy to talk to as is his wife. I have several great stories about them. The first was after a part the installed failed. I live in richland so its a bit of a drive. They paid a tow truck to pick up the car so they could completely take apart my engine and fix the stuck lifter. They then brough the car back to me. All at no cost.Last time i went, i dropped my car off at their house. They threw in a free transmission tune because he felt that it would improve the car. He was right. He has always been more than fair to me and deserves your patronage. Give him a chance and you will return every time.

I was flagged down on I-5 because our work truck was smoking, I pulled off and discovered i was leaking oil fast and furious. I added some oil and stated looking for a repair shop, after stopping at 2 other shops I came across Dings, They took a look at it and indicated they would do what they could to get me going. Keep in mind this is 4:00 on a Friday afternoon and I need to make it to Newberg OR. After dropping everything the owner worked on our truck for almost 2 hours. He not only stayed after hours but did what it took to fix the truck and got me going. The whole time I am thinking this guy has me at any price, but after staying late, his wife included, they only charged me $125.00.. Not only above and beyond service but unbelievably fair pricing. If you are in the Vancouver area and need auto repair service or auto body work I would definitively recommend Dings.

This is the shop you want to go to! From a simple oil change to adding a Supercharger to your car, Dings can do it. Maintain your daily driver, Dings can do it. Build a high performance street car, Dings can do it. Building a drag race, Dings can do it. Hands down the best Auto Care shop in the area. One of the last truly HONEST mechanics left. Highly recommend!!!!

I went to Ding's a year ago after failing emissions for a 'check engine' light. I was provided a list of approved mechanics around the Clark County area that were guaranteed to fix my check engine light issue. I took my van into Ding's and they said I had a gross leak in my fuel lines but that it was fixed. Since it only took them a couple of hours, I was pretty happy so I paid them their asking price of $300, returned to emissions, and passed. Not 4 days later, my light came back on and I called them, a bit perplexed, as they were just paid to do a job and I was told they fixed the issue. All I was told was, Bring it in and we will look at it. After I did so, I was told AGAIN that I had a gross leak in the fuel lines. I asked them why it wasn t fixed the first time and they said they did all that they could in their power to fix it. They pumped smoke into the vehicle's lines to check for leaks and there was none, but that their scanner told them there was a leak and it was pretty severe. So, I went back to their shop for nearly two MONTHS every other week. I wanted them to fix what I paid them to fix. In the end, I cut my losses and chose to go to a local mechanic who runs his shop out of his garage. He said, Yeah, they were right, you do have a gross leak, but thats not the problem. The problem is your gas cap. Its got an old seal. Just go buy a new gas cap and it will take care of that. They may have just reset the computer to shut off the light. That would explain why it kept coming back on. I was FURIOUS! Not only did I waste my time and gas going back to an approved company who had told me that they did their job multiple times but they took my money knowing that they DID NOT fix the issue. I paid $300 for a job they did not fix when the WHOLE ISSUE COULD HAVE BEEN FIXED WITH A $5 GAS CAP! Dings is a proper name, since they will definitely ding your wallet.

I had a great experience with them, because they had great communication while my car was being looked at and they really help you by providing options and clearly explaining what they're doing. Also, very affordable pricing and quotes.

The lady who answered the phone has no idea what she's talking about... I REALLY hope Someone knows their service CAN answer the call. My impartial advice is DO NOT TRUST ALL THESE REVIEWS PPL!!!!!!!! Problly some of these reviews were rated by their friends!!!!!!!!!
