Avoid at all costs! Disassembled undamaged parts, wouldn't reassemble any of the parts when we decided to keep the vehicle. They tried to pressure us into scrapping the vehicle. Wouldn't check all parts were there when we picked it up. Only "positive" is that Some of the staff were polite.

After being rear-ended and working with the other driver s insurance company I was offered a choice of shops to use. I chose Gerber since my parents have had good experiences with the shop I m Spokane. What a mistake!When I brought my car in for the estimate the gentleman who did the estimate told me that I should switch insurance companies since mine is horrible to work with. Even though my insurance company wasn t handling the claim. I was also informed that the master warning light was just the tire sensor and that my car was drivable even though the headlights and break lights were out. Thankfully the insurance company agreed that it was not and provided a rental.They couldn t fit my car in for 2 months, an inconvenience but understandable. During those two months that I was waiting they called me 2 times to tell me my care was drivable and that the insurance company shouldn t be paying for a rental car.

I would never use this body shop! The only person I dealt with that was pleasant was the lady that scheduled the appointment for me. I asked to make sure it was ok that my daughter brought the car in for the estimate since I was working and the lady said that was fine. She said all they needed to do was get photos of the damage and the car in general so they could write up the estimate. When my daughter took the car in, the guy that did the estimate apparently didn t see the damage to my passenger door (very visible) and wrote the estimate for a ding in the other door. When I called the next morning to talk to them about the estimate I spoke to the manager and she was so rude and defensive. She asked why I was coming to their shop in Burlington when there s a Gerber in Stanwood where I live and why didn t I bring my car in myself. I explained why I didn t bring the car in and I let her know I did call Gerber in Stanwood and they were booked out until August and her location was only booked out until May. She prompted came back with well we are booked out until August too . I told her the lady on the phone 2 days ago said you were booked out until May. The manager just kept trying to find excuses for me not to bring my business there so I bluntly told her that she obviously didn t want my business and I didn t feel comfortable bringing my car to a place that didn t seem very competent or pleasant to work with. I definitely wouldn t take my vehicle to this Gerber location!

I was directed here through my insurance company after wrecking my Mercedes last week. I love an hour away so wanted to make sure I left with plenty of time to make it. I ended arriving an hour early with no intention of being seen early. But figured I d check in when I got there. Let me start by saying the parking lot was awful. Jam packed full of poorly parked cars. I went inside to the very dark and dirty office with no working open sign and boxes piled outside. Checked in and was told to have a seat and someone would be right with me. I was expecting them to tell me I was early and I would just go wait in my car. But I was told to have a seat. The man on the front office was actively arguing with a customer and being very condescending on the phone. Another employee walked up to him and whisper something to him and the man stated VERY LOUDLY AND VERY RUDELY yeah well she s just going to have to wait, she a whole freaking hour early right in front of my face. It was so uncalled for an unprofessional. I felt as tho he was taking his frustrations from the phone call out on me for being EARLY to my appt. I walked right out and called someone else. Like I stated before I did not expect to be seen early, but this didn t need to be stated in front of everyone . I obviously know I m early. Would not recommend. They need to work on their appearance and their customer service. I was already iffy on leaving my car in their care with the look of the building and property, and the rude man in the front solidified my decision to leave.

Not sure why they say Gerber Collision & Glass, when they don't offer glass in this areal. I called, went through a frustrating automated phone system to reach the glass department, that ended up hanging up on me, so I called the collision side. I was told she could not transfer me to the glass department, which I ultimately determined doesn't exist.

Terrible customer service. We got hit by our neighbor in our driveway, called our insurance and they said We had to call our neighbors insurance , so we called them and they told us we will be using Gerber Collision. So when we finally got ahold of Gerber Collision, they told us that they would have an assessor come by Wednesday, but they didn't come, so we called Gerber Collision back and they said they couldn't make it so next Wednesday they would be by. So it's only Monday, but my husband got a text about a tow truck picking up our car today so he naturally called Gerber Collision to make sure it wasn't them and the person he got on the phone said that they don't have an assessor or a tow truck (liers the tow truck thankfully called my husband when he was five minutes away so he was able to cancel the tow) and not only would we have to drive our car to them but that they are booked till April. So first OUR CAR IS NOT ROAD LEGAL so I'm not driving it and second it's our ONLY car and we can't afford a rental so we can't wait till April. It's already been too long, we have already been verry patient.

I went to this location for insurance work. I would have given a 5 star review based on the experience of this event, but unfortunately things happened after they fixed the original damage.They called me to come pick up my car and less than an hour after they called I was notified there was an accident involving my car. My car was hit in their parking lot. New insurance claim. More headaches. They couldn't fix issues with my sensors so it had to go to a dealership, but it got fixed. They did what they had to to get the car fixed I will give them that.Their communication was great. Their parking lot is small and apparently hazardous for parked cars. I hope I won't need their services for years to come, but I would return as long as they didn't park my car out front.

The customer service was terrible. I left there feeling like I was just bullied in high school. I ve decided to take my business to a different Gerber that is out of the way just to avoid these awful, rude, condescending employees. They shouldn t be allowed to have contact with any customer ever again. I dealt with two workers upfront a female with tattoos and the man that sits in front of her. Purely rotten and miserable people. I m glad I m never going back!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Terrible communication between staff here or something. Needed a windshield repair and was told by the folks I called at the call center that I could get a repair that day. Stopped looking around, because they had a sale on for end of the year, and could get it done. Was called at end of the day by the shop and told they won't have the part till the next day, but they will get to me first thing in the morning. I take a half day off work, because I do not work in an area the repair person could come to me, and I use a work truck there anyways, so my car is not with me. At end of morning, the repair person calls and says will be at my place by 2pm, and says he was not told about getting to me first thing, and would not be able to get to me in the am. So I have to now take a full day off work.Ended up calling a local glass company in Mt Vernon that got my window in that afternoon, so I would not have to support a business that cost me a full day off of work.Writing review now, because I just figured out Google reviews. Happened on 12/26/18-12/27/18I will say I did receive a call from a manager at Gerber after posting this review, which is a good gesture and a sign that the company responds to poor performance and is hopefully seeking improvements so things like this do not happen again.

My insurance recommended Gerber. They estimated my vehicles damage at $7500 and said they would update weekly on tuesdays and thursdays. A few days after they needed to send my vehicle to another shop. A couple days after that I started receiving text updates. The first one stating the work has begun. Then a while later a text saying they are halfway finished and my vehicle is on track to be done on 10-24-17. And then another one saying almost finished and still on track for 10/24 finish. So, I call Gerber on 10/25 to see when I can pick up my vehicle? I m told they haven t even started work yet. I said but the updates were saying it was already being worked on . Whoever I was speaking to said oh, those text alerts? Yeah, you can cancel those to stop at any time . And then he said the other shop totaled my vehicle. No one had the courtesy to inform me. Week after week my vehicle sat there. I still have all the texts and website screen shots of all the false information I was given. This place is horrible. Not only was the estimate way off, but they have no regard for customer care. If you can send two texts a week on how things are going, you can send one to tell me that they aren t going as planned.. I would recommend Dallys or Avon in Mount Vernon. I have had great experiences with them in the past.

Two weeks ago a guy backed into my brand new car in a parking lot. Brought the car to Gerber in Burlington and they were super helpful and friendly, walked me through what I needed to do insurance wise and best of all they made my car brand new again. Then yesterday I was driving down the freeway and a stick bounced off of the front of my car, needless to say I was pretty upset, I'd just gotten the car back a week ago! But I took it to Gerber again this afternoon and the painter came out and fixed it for free and it looks brand new again! Highly recommend!

Even though it took us a month and a half because we have a Mitsubishi to get the parts and get our car fixed it runs great people work and patient was us they understood our problems also Dell with my insurance company and took a lot of stress off of us highly recommend them confident good experience

Absolutely horrible! They claim to accept synchrony financial yet only if manager who is in hawaii at the moment is there to verify it and where payment is going??? Makes no sense but ok. ... employee's were clueless and yet stack of synchrony applications sit on the counter, sketchy to say the least. Professionalism seriously lacking, I've seen less shady backyard mechanics than this place so if in need of glass replacement i wont be recommending gerber. Wasn't just 1 failed attempt but twice so safelite it is.

Prices are a little high but everybody should expect that because the quality is outstanding get it done right the first time check out the fiberglass bears and I make
