Montana and crew took special care of our family beloved 2000 Tahoe. It needed insurance claim work as well as much needed transmission work. Montana assured us that the work would be done right...and it was. Communication with us and our insurance agent was good. Glad to have Transmission Express in our community. We will be driving the Tahoe for several more years.

First off I am not the type to ever leave a review but feel I really need to for this place. I had found a transmission leak while replacing my spark plugs one day. After noticing the leak I had felt I should take my Subaru Forester to a transmission shop to have the leak looked at. I haven't ever had to take my car in for transmission issue's so didn't know who to go to so I had done some research on Google and had come across Transmission Xpress and have to say, I was really pleased with my experience. I was told I was going to have to pay a certain dollar amount to have the issue diagnosed which is understandable but the cost goes towards your repair if issues are found. After a few hours of dropping it off they had called me stating they cannot find any leaks. They mentioned they will put it back up on the rack at the end of the night and check again which they had done. They even offered to leave it up on the rack until I came in the next morning to pick it up so I can take a look for myself and as they stated, no leak. When I had went to pay, he decided to give me a discounted rate which I felt was awesome as they didn't have to do that but also told me to bring it back in a month and they would take one last look at it free of charges. I left the shop feeling like this place was a shop that actually cares about their customers which is extremely rare these days. I haven't brought my car back in yet to have it re-inspected but wanted to share my experience.

Montana was extremely helpful and kept me up to date on all of the repairs needed. They were able to get my truck repaired quickly. This is one of best auto repair shops in Washington.

Very good experience with Xpress Auto Repair. No hesitation to recommend them. We were on a very tight schedule and Montana went out of his way to take care of us. Back on the road and car is running great!

I had such a wonderful experience here! When I arrived, I had informed the shop manager that my oil level check light came on well before my next oil change was due and this concerned me. He heard me and fit me in last minute (and toward the end of the work day) to do an oil change and check for any leaks. He also talked over some battery issues with me, which had been on my to-do list to replace, and then he offered to replace my battery without charging me the labor to do so. Truly so nice and helpful! I will definitely be going back. Thank you for the quality service!

This shop has been really great to work with. I recently took my car in for a transmission specific issue and they were honest and fast with the repair. I brought in my other car for some normal repairs after that because they were so great to work with. I highly recommend this shop!!

Quick service and honest diagnosis. Transmission light D was on in my daughter s Element and Montana was able to get the car in, diagnosed and repaired quickly. Thank you. We will be back. Highly recommend.

Got a ridiculous quote for a transmission issue from Michael Toyota, call Montana and explain issues, Montana suggested adding some additive first before replacing torque converter. It runs much better than before and will continue to drive until worst symptoms appear. Will go back to Montana for help if problem persist. Excellent service and will definitely goes back to him if needed. Thanks Montana for your kind service. Best regards!

Amazing Customer Service! I actually felt like they listened to me, and did everything they could to get answers about my car problems. I ve gone to a bunch of mechanics lately (fml) but this place was the only one out of at least 4 that made me feel heard. Appreciate that!

Montana was so sweet! My transmission went out and nobody could fit me in to get my car checked. Montana got me in the next day. I felt like rather than giving me the run around I was provided a diagnosis and quote rather quickly. This was an expensive fix, about 4k but it was reassuring to have this team not beat around the bush or seem like I was being taken advantage of. Montana also was very responsive to all of my calls and questions and I had my car back in about a week and a half. Thanks Xpress auto!

Jan 11, 2019 --Absolutely crushed it on a 1969 Ford Bronco clutch replacement, transmission fluid flush, and fuel pump swap.Transmission Xpress stands by their work - Montana and his team did an amazing job. Everyone was fair, honest, and customer oriented. First choice for all of my future transmission repairs and preventive maintenance needs.

This service was excellent. They not only took my vehicle in right away, but kept me up on what was wrong, how long it would take & price, before working on it. The are extremely polite helpful & kind. They went above & beyond when we were going to be late picking our car up (due to ferry issues) staying late waiting for us. They will tow your car for free on transmission rebuilds, so that was really helpful. Afterwards kept me up to date on everything and got it done in a good amount of time.

I went in for a TCM replacement on my Mazda; a super common issue. Did a pile of research to make sure this was the right problem and everything lined up, so I called these guys and they were immediately available to take my car in and check the problem.Normally, when I go into an auto shop and tell the mechanic I looked up the problem and know what it is, I get an eye-roll and a vice that they don't care what I say; they're gonna check everything they can to milk more cash out of me. Instead, I felt like Montana trusted that I put in the work, got right to it and fixed the problem in a day. Most of that time was just waiting for the part.I'm not normally one for cushy customer service (though I imagine these guys can provide that, too). I prefer those who are direct, to-the-point and efficient. These guys are all of that. Will definitely come back if necessary. 10/10.Service: Transmission

Gorgeous shop, locally owned, with beautiful arrangements. They're always so kind and helpful on the phone and they deliver throughout Vashon. Perfect for Mother's day, birthdays, or just a nice way to tell someone you miss them.

I recently had an excellent experience at at Transmission Xpress an automotive repair shop in Burien, WA and I can't recommend it enough! The staff were professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. From the moment I walked in, they took the time to listen to my concerns and explain what needed to be done to fix my car.The repairs were completed in a timely manner and I was kept up-to-date throughout the entire process. The staff even took the time to show me the parts that needed to be replaced and explain why they needed to be replaced.What impressed me the most was the level of transparency and honesty displayed by the staff. They didn't try to upsell me on unnecessary services or products, and instead focused on what was truly necessary to get my car back up and running smoothly.The final bill was also very reasonable, especially given the quality of service I received. I left the shop feeling confident that my car was in good hands and that I had made the right choice in bringing it to Transmission Xpress.Overall, I would highly recommend this automotive repair shop to anyone in need of reliable and honest service. I haven't heard anything about this place at all. I was weary to try someplace new to me. When I called Montana answered the phone and told me I could drop off my 85 suburban so they could take a look! To my surprise, I dropped it off 20 min later. He called and let me know my transfer case was missing some bolts. Trust me it was making a noise like the transmission was about to fall out, or something broke in there! He fixed the problem and topped off the transmission and the transfer case. Definitely, at a reasonable price! Quick as heck too! Driving happily now! No noise at all and drives great! I already recommend them to friends and family! I think Montana and his crew are top notch honest people. My fear of going to new places is they will tell you anything to sell you a new transmission. I didn't have that experience with this shop at all! Great place, great people, and even a better experience!Services: Transmission, Transmission repair

Go see Montana and Nick!When every other shop said they could not fit me in for at least a week, Montana was able to get me in and out the next day!Small town, family-oriented, extremely friendly and understanding mechanic that is around to help!They gave me the options, presented what they thought I should do and allowed me to make the decision. They charged me more money than the quote I was given twice for over a $130 more when I got my car back. The service that was given was way overpriced
