Huge kudos to Mike (and Jamison). I've had multiple buddies take their forks here to get serviced and now I know why. Mike graciously answered my questions and had a such a quick turn around time to pick up my bike. He has very reasonable prices too, considering the work to be done. Jamison helped dial in my sag even more when I picked it up. Professional lads with quick and efficient service -- I will be back for seasonal tuneups! Thanks, guys!

Mike is amazing! He reworked my mountain bike shock so it s possible to set sag. I had issues for months to set my static sag and one visit to his shop fixed it easily. If you ever need a custom tune, visit Mike! He will make your shock better.

Mike was super helpful and knowledgeable. Extremely reasonable pricing (a bargain, really). My Fox Transfer seatpost is working like new, and the rest of my Fox suspension is dialed in thanks to the included suspension pressure adjustment. I'll be recommending the Shock Howse to all my MTB buddies.

In the current era of long wait times and slow turnaround Mike blows expectations out of the water. Solid, professional and very kind. He turned around my Fox X2 rebuild in a single day!Not only that but, he didn't change me for the full rebuild because the seals were still good. and he took extra time to setup both my fork and shock to better fit my style of riding! This shop deserves your business. You won't be disappointed. I won't go anywhere else now.PS. Make sure you get some stickers and jelly beans!Update Mar 8th:I finally rode some proper gnar and the tune is unbelievable. My bike holds more traction though the rough stuff and wants to go faster!

Amazing suspension service and support. MIKe is a magician with suspension servce and set up., and sourced the parts I needed ( replacement stanchion and correct springs for my weight and riding style... in additiin to all the suspension service bits) He has serviced both my Ibis Ripmo Fox and new to me Trek Session Rock Shok forks and air + /coil shocks, and I could not be happier with his support and results. His communication is great, and turn-around timing is as communicated. It's rare now days to find true technicians and great customer supportMike and his team are magicians with suspension. Highly recomended.

Mike was incredibly helpful and had a very fast turnaround time: got my fork dialed for an upcoming Whistler trip. Love the appointment method (vs. show up, drop off, and be without suspension for who knows how long). He knows his stuff and I'll be back with more suspension needs in the future!

This place is awesome. Very knowledgeable, straightforward and very easy to work with. I've taken in my own bikes for specific tunes, wife and kid's bikes to match suspension to their lower weights, even some incredibly rare items I wasn't convinced were serviceable - not once have I walked out disappointed. I highly recommend this place.

There s a reason Mike has 35 straight 5 star reviews. He s got over 20 years experience under his belt working on suspension. He s the nicest dude ever and is super down to share his wisdom, tips and general advice on all things bikes. Due to his great reservation system, Mike gets bikes serviced and out same day. He even took extra time out of his day to do a dropper service for me because I forgot to add that to my reservation, and still got the bike back my way same day. Basic servicing comes with a free session where he ll work with you to get your dampening and rebound adjusted to your weight and style. He s got customers mailing in their suspension from all over because they trust him and his work. If you re on the fence about whether to book an appointment, do it! You won t regret it.

Mike is awesome. Super knowledgeable, very friendly, and goes out of his way to help in any way he can. I had the incorrect shock on my bike, and he helped source down a very competitively priced replacement as well as doing a great job on the fork. I can t recommend Mike enough if you need work done on your suspension!

Mike is very knowledgeable, respectful, and responsive. He turned around my shock the same day as my appointment date, and did a custom tune on the shim stack AND full annual rebuild for less than the price of the manufacturer's annual rebuild. And this guy knows his tunes: the shock finally felt properly tuned for my weight and riding style. Cannot recommend him enough.

Awesome service and work by Mike. Will definitely use him for all my future work. Helped setup and tune my suspension and it felt so much better. I was signed up to get a full service but didn't need it, so was only charged for a minor service - how many shops do that these days? Mike knows his stuff and I'm glad I found him for servicing my suspension. Totally created a raving fan here.Bonus is I didn't have to remove my shock or form for him to work on the bike.

I've sent a fork and a shock to Mike to get rebuilt/tuned and am very happy with the results. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable up front with all of my questions and has continued to be so post-sale with my numerous calls/emails about how to get the most out of my stuff.Additionally anyone who is on the fence about the Smackstack upgrade for their DPX2 should go ahead and do it, I am very impressed with mine. His scheduling system is convenient and since I also live in the PNW the turnaround including shipping is very quick. I will be sending more stuff his way for sure.

Had our bikes shocks serviced and tuned by Mike and couldn t be happier. Hit some technical trails the day after pickup (same day service by the way), and the bike felt better than it did on the first day I got it. Highly recommend. Mike spent the time to explain the inner workings of the shocks and offers to get the ride dialed in just right.

Mike is fantastic. Always gets my fork cleaned, lubed, tuned - mint. This last time he got the fork in better balance with my shock. Improved the performance of the bike by a long shot. And the gummies are a nice touch.

Just picked up my bike from Mike's shop. Client service is above the clouds! I am new to full suspension bikes and not yet familiar with all the terms and details. Mike was very patient and helped me figuring out shock and fork specs prior to ordering parts. Fast response, VERY fast service, super nice to communicate. Keep it up, Mike! Will recommend him to everyone I know and will service my shocks only at Shock Howse.

Mike is the man! I am so glad that I found him and he does amazing work. Definitely the person that I would recommend in the Seattle area for fork work. Beyond replacing a scratched damper body, he gave me great advice about shocks and the adjustments that I should consider making. All shops in Seattle were backed up at least 3 weeks this past summer and his turnaround time was great. He has years of experience in the industry and it shows!

Mike at The Shock Howse will be my go to guy from now on. After exhausting all of my options, Mike came through with a part find and shock rebuild in record time. Quality work, fair prices, knowledgeable, and an all around nice guy. I really appreciate Mike s expertise to get my bike functioning once again!

Mike is great to work with. Front and rear suspension much better after Mike's service. Suspension setup is an extra bonus, My bike was much improved, better suspension support for pedaling, balanced front to back, and I'm faster now.

Mike did a great job setting up my suspension and installing a new fork. Bike is so balanced now even with an entry level shock. High recommend him.

Mike is just awesome. He is super chill and easy to work with. He listened to what I had to say even with me being non technical with suspension terms. He listened to how I ride and what I like and don t like about the bike I was not loving. Well fast forward 6 months at no more thinking about what the bike is doing and just ride. The Smack Stack rear shock modification and older Pike fork tuned to my weight and riding style has me loving my Following MB. Recent long rides at Palisades and Capital Forest were two of the best soul rides ever. Wow! Thanks Mike, I ll be back.

This was the best experience I've ever had with any bike-related business. I was directed toward Mike by Ohlins USA when I picked up a new fork from them. I ended up having a minor issue with the fork that required warranty service, so I reached out to Mike. He responded within 1 hour, set up my warranty claim with Ohlins immediately, and then serviced my fork the same day while I waited. He's truly a wealth of suspension knowledge, and incredibly friendly to boot. It's great to have someone I can trust to work on high-end suspension in the Seattle area - top marks, and I'll be a repeat customer, that's for sure!

Both thoroughly impressed and appreciative of the amazing work Mike does. I ve been putting off getting my suspension worked on for far too long out of dreading being with out my bike for days or even weeks. With Mike I dropped it off in the afternoon and he had it ready the next morning. My suspension has never felt better and I wasn t without my bike for very long. I ll be back and definitely not waiting a couple years this time to get suspension serviced

Mike is super customer oriented, friendly, incredibly knowledgeable and accessible. Riders in the area are really lucky to have a knowledgeable suspension tech like Mike to service and set up our suspension.

Took me forever to write this review because Mike fixed my shock and got me back out riding so fast. Blew it out the week I had a buddy coming from NYC to ride the PNW. I was screwed. Mike not only agreed to try to squeeze my repair in but he also gave me a loaner so I wouldn t be stuck without. Super cool. And to top it off, he got my shock done the day before my buddy showed up and a week before he figured he d have it done. He said his goal is quick turnaround so people can stay on the trails and he did just turn. Wouldn t go anywhere else for suspension work.

Stop looking around, I'll save you time and tell you there is nowhere better than Mike at The Shock Howse. This is the place other bike experts go to when they need help. He know everything about suspension and can explain it in a way that makes sense. The Shock Howse is the only place I'd trust to work on my suspension besides for Fox themselves.

UNREAL!! Not only the suspension feel after the work done, but also the service! After service and a couple rides I wanted to tune it a bit to get it dialed, I'm not great at tuning so I got in touch with Mike to lean on his expertise. He ended up doing a couple more things to the fork and shock, then tuning based on my feedback, holy moly game changer!! Highly highly recommend going through Mike for your suspension service, it'll be better than brand new. Treat yourself!

Mike recently did some work for me on my Rockshox, and it turned out great! I was stoked to get back riding in good time and have it work better than when it was new. I trust his work over anyone in my local area, and I'll definitely have work done again in the future. It helps to have a history in the industry working with the pros!
