Went to visit my sister and had some car trouble that would have prevented me from driving my car since I live 3 and a half hours away. The guys at Meineke not only got my car in but got done and had me back on the road in no time! Highly recommend these guys!

Good or bad, I don t normally write online reviews. Due to the urgent and dangerous situation with the right rear bearing on our Subaru Outback, I feel compelled to share my experience with Meineke in Bremerton, WA. I made an appointment for the shop to examine why the check engine light had come on / off and why the newer front brake pads (only) that my husband installed kept squeaking. Meineke told me they just got new state-of-the-art diagnostic test equipment and would inspect both at no cost. Other shops in the area charge over $160 just for the inspection. They stated the front brakes were good but the back older brakes & rotors needed to be replaced and that the RR bearing was so worn that it was dangerous and to avoid driving it. They sent me pictures and a video of the bearing problem and that was scary!! Since the spark plugs had never been changed in 145k mi., they suggested that those be replaced and see if that clears up the issue of the engine light. They completed all the work that I pre-approved and test drove it before we left the shop to ensure it was safe to drive. Everything seemed great until we had to leave the next AM and the front brake squeaking could have woke up the whole neighborhood. I was not happy. I called Meineke and they said, come bring it back in but if it was doing it only in the AM, I d have to leave it overnight so they could test it then. Explained we didn t have a ride back home. They actually had a technician drive back to where we were staying. They said, yes, they heard the squeak and it s coming from the front brakes. I said but my husband just changed out the front pads about 1.5 yrs ago. They asked it he changed out the rotors. My husband stated the rotors were fine when he changed the pads. Oops!! They explained both should be changed simultaneously otherwise it causes uneven wear and tear so now I needed needed from pads and rotors all changed. Now, I was just plain upset at all the costs. (Long story short kinda) Finally, no more check engine light, no tire shimmy, and finally no more embarrassingly high-pitch, squeaky brakes. I am grateful for the front office staff and the conscientious technicians. The only drawbacks were long wait times when waiting in the lobby for work to be completed and total costs. That being said, I d still prefer the quality, flexibility, and professionalism at Bremerton Meineke.

I was referred by a trusted friend, and I not disappointed. Vince, Ronald, amd everyone at the shop took care of me by diagnosing my car issues, finding the quickest way to fix them, and keeping me up to date about the progress of my vehicle. As well as excellent in-house service, I had an issue while on the road, after hours, and they offered to have a technician drive out to meet on the side of the road, and provide a tow if need be. They definitely exceeded all my expectations, and I will be going back. Thank you!

They are a great group of guys that helped me get my truck on the road and let me keep my truck there till I had the payment to pay for everything. I will continue using them as my auto shop. The manager Vince is an awesome guy and with his team helped solve a brake light issue I was having

I highly recommend!! I did not get service on my car just a full point inspection and from start I was greeted by Grant (retiree) very nice gentleman. Even with a guy being out he was very helpful and patient and helped me with my vehicle that was in a car accident. He also paid attention to time to let me know about the wait being that they were short staffed. I love the digital system that details parts of the car with estimation. I came back in the afternoon and was greeted by Vince (manager) he took the time to explain everything and was very helpful to my budget on options. Another guy I didn't get his name took the time to clean my vehicle out from the accident. I was surprised even though this is a name brand I left feeling like this was a Mom and Pops kind of shop like a family. This is the kind of place that I would like to bring my car back just because of their hospitality. They took care of me!! Thank you and until next time!

I had an unexpected issue happen with my car, they were able to do a diagnostic right away and pinpoint what was wrong. The crew went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. Everyone was amazing there. Highly recommend going to this shop if you want quick and professional service.

I wasn't going to write any review on this originally but what I just found infuriated me and led to this rant. I went in originally to get my parking brake shoes repaired after the rear driver side froze in place in the cold. Was told it required 1 small part from a disc brake hardware kit. Easy fix. Except exact same problem happened the next day. Turns out they fixed the wrong wheel. Whoops. Next they actually inspected it properly and found 1800$ worth of brake problems. No problem there, appreciated the actual inspection. Was told the price I paid the day before would be applied to any new purchase because the owner didn't like the way it was initially inspected/repaired. Eventually agree to repair the rear rotors/shoes/pads. Had to wait in the shop for 3 hours for the owner to show so we could haggle some more. Side note, the whole choose your own pricing is a terrible model. I don't want to have to waste my time arguing over a price when you could just offer your best price instead of trying to screw the customer. Finally we agree on a price with only part of the first days payment applied to the final. All good, car is repaired and running great. Had to go back the next day because they forgot to give me back my lug nut lock. Now the big twist! I just went to tighten my lug nuts and the front passenger wheel only has 4 out of 5 lug nuts. They were all tight, one was just forgotten somewhere back in the shop.... Not happy at all. Very frustrating experience

Vince is such an amazing guy! Incredibly knowledgeable, hard working, and accommodating. I have trust issues with mechanics, but him and his team allow me to drive away with peace of mind. Highly recommend!

Vince and his crew are extremely nice and helpful and explained everything that was wrong with my vehicle.even though there was only one mechanic on duty they still goty vehicle done in a timely manne. So I want to give a big shout out to Vince and Jay for taking care of my vehicle. And I would definitely recommend them to anyone and will also be bringing my vehicle back to them in the future.

The crew at this garage were so cool and kind, walked me through the mess that my truck had become and fixed it right up that day, even though i couldn't pick it up until the next. A bit of patience goes a long way. 100% recommend.

This shop was able to inspect and turn my car around in 24hours. Notably, we replaced all of the brakes/rotors, new tires and performed an alignment plus a couple of minor issues. All of the work was supported by a very transparent inspection report with detailed photos to help me decide which ones to work on. Best part . They were able to source the harder-to-find parts the same day and get me on my way. Best group of mechanics in the Puget sound by far, I had found myself in a predicament where my lugs came loose and I called around to about 30 different shops and they were the only ones who went out of there way to have someone come to me and secure my wheel so I can get to AutoZone.All done with the kindness of there hearts I can't be thankful enough so please show these guys some support if you have any mechanical questions or needs.Thanks again guys!Can say that they're going to be my first choice when it comes to auto repair of any nature.

I went into Meineke on Wheaton WAy in Bremerton, WA. They ran diagnostics on the battery and said it was in good shape. The battery check light still came on, then the check engine light came on. After a second diagnostic testing I was told my battery had a dead cell and that I would need a new battery. They charged me $63 and some change just for the diagnostics which were wrong on the first test. The second test showed a dead cell in my battery which then needed to be replaced, that was a 6.5 hour wait to get through the diagnostics. Then they ordered a new battery and another two hour wait. They installed it and the check battery light came on again. Long story short, they installed a new battery at a lower cost to make up for their mistakes which did not at the time sit well with me and still doesn't. The battery check light no longer comes on, the check engine light no longer comes on so they did get it fixed at considerable time out of my busy day(s) "two busy days". And now everything is working fine, but I am unhappy about the first and second diagnostic testing which should have been caught the first time around. My Dodge Ram 1500 ST Quad Cab 4x4 is now working properly, THANK GOD!!!

It I could give a negative review for my last oil change, I would do so. At first they didn't have the oil filter I needed, so I had to come back. I came back and it took 1.5 hours to do the work which they said would take 35-40 minutes (meanwhile I was sitting in their terribly uncomfortable chairs in the lobby). Drove the car home and it leaked oil like crazy. Turns out they forgot to install the gasket so I had to come back - 4 hour job because they had to order that. Next day the car was almost out of oil because they must have forgotten to top it off after the gasket fix. Never coming back and I am going to be calling to ask for my money back on the $100 they charged me for the 8 quarts of oil.

My grandmother's car was broken into, and after our original plan fell through I had to call random car places as rapidly as possible. Vince at this location took us in right away. He communicated every step of the way, what he was waiting on, if it was an insurance bump or waiting on a part, and most importantly he explained everything in a way my grandma could understand. He was one of the most kind, decent, and understanding humans we got to work with. He saw us at a very low point where we didn't have decent states of minds and were emotional messes and he still took the time to work with us, be patient with us, and not scam us.After we picked the car up we noticed two minor problems and we called back. He had us come back right away and fixed the problems in less than 20 minutes, no problem and no questions asked. I can't recommend them more.Services: Auto side window replacement, Vehicle Inspection

Fixed my old 1993 Honda Accord when no mechanic shop was able to do it. It was a simple fix and they know what they are doing. If you want any car serviced come to Meineke

I had my brakes done with Meineke in East Bremerton the other day. I wish I would have gotten the names of the two guys that helped me. They were both there to help me and they did so in a timely manner. I will be back for sure for other services as well.

Went here because discount tire broke one of my studs after replacing a tire. Well doing the work they discovered that a second stud was stripped and took care of it free of charge. Never been to meineke before but they definitely made a lasting impression. Price was a lot more reasonable than I thought it would be. $89 to replace a stud on my 2016 Subaru outback. I expected a few hundred but was surprised especially after telling me they had to do a second stud. Can definitely see myself coming here for work again in the future.

I went in for a simple oil change. Grant Newell said that one of their mechanics broke my wiper switch, then Vince had the audacity to lie to me saying that he would refund my money, but it would take about 5 months.

So far so good. I'm sure anyplace is better than West Hills... They inspected my brakes and suggested repairs. Full digital report included photos and they even pointed out additional issues that should be inspected in the future. I've scheduled my repairs for next week and look forward to a great experiance.

Awesome establishment, They laid me out the facts of what needed to be done, and even worked with my budget or lack there of ...LOL... And I really enjoyed the new system of being able to click on a link and look at the parts that have failed. This aspect was able to let me keep working and look at the obviously failed part and give the go ahead to fix and replaced the parts. Awesome manager, awesome mechanics.

Took vehicle in alignment before buying new tires, discount tire offers a discount to this meineke on new tire purchases.First thing meineke tells me is that they can't align a car with bad parts. They tell me they'll do a front-end inspection before aligning my vehicle. I was very grateful for the inspection being done.They came back and told me I had bad wheel hubs, so I told him to his face I would do those on my own time and bring it back.I brought it back after doing the wheel hubs myself. They brought it in, aligned it up, and sent me on my way.The problem comes when I get in my vehicle after the alignment was done and it is pulling hard to the left. I ended up paying for my vehicle to be inspected again somewhere else where they identified several bad parts. Once I replaced the parts I needed another alignment after I had just gotten 1 done.I set an appointment with meineke at 1130am for 7-18-23. They called at 10am and said they didn't have time, but asked I come in at 1pm on 7-19-23. I warned the manager Vince I work at 4pm, and I need to be done In a timely manner. I was sitting in meineke till 2pm before I finally requested a full refund for their poor service.If you schedule an appointment here, make sure you have extra time, just because you have an appointment doesn't mean anything.I'm also not sure if this is a quality place for front-end inspections. As my front end inspection was not done very well. I had very bad parts on my vehicle that could have caused me to lose steering or cause a tire to pop off.

After MANY MANT days of having to heckle with CARCHEX warranty company(who is a joke), the management at meineke were able to get them to pay 1/2 of the work and blessed us with our vehicle promptly. We did have to return the following day to have an issue taken care of but they got us our vehicle back that evening without extra charges....very grateful for Vince, Grant, and the mechanics.
