Neilson Auto Repair and its owner provided exceptional service! He was extremely kind, efficient, and fair in pricing. Our car repair was completed swiftly/rapidly, and the results were fantastic. Highly recommend!

Nielson is one of those places that feels like a true small business that has a heart. My roommate's Kia lost its radiator when the water pump belt snapped on the freeway. I fixed the belt but didn't have time to do the radiator. To save money, we ordered the parts ourselves. When another mechanic fell through, we called around looking for a shop. Some places simply wouldn't give the time of day, others wouldn't install customer supplied parts, others just simply were too busy to get the vehicle serviced in a timely manner. Nielson got us in the next day, gave us the lowest quote of any place we called, and then bent over backwards to be accommodating when we picked up the vehicle. I will be bringing my personal vehicle in here and am grateful to have found a quality shop with good people on the east side!

This place was an amazing experience. The people here are super nice and I actually had an appointment at another place nearby that told me to drop off my car for repairs and they would be there to get my keys. Long story short they were closed when I showed. But this place was open and not only took my car in for repairs but beat the price I was quoted by the other mechanic shop. Definitely will be coming back in for future car repairs!

I find it hard to believe there could even be any negative reviews for this company. They took care og my coolant and pump issues for far cheaper than potential competitors. Also nice ppl

Went in for a estimate for damage on my fender. They were able to see me the same day I called. Other businesses said they can see me in a month, and would be able to repair a month later. They told me I can get it fixed this week. They took the time to explain my options and gave me choices on my repair. I trust this place to fix my cars. They are Very honest and fair. Has is the new owner and he is very knowledgeable and a super nice guy. It s hard to find a good mechanic these days that you can trust and be treated fairly. I ve had both of my cars serviced here and had a great experience every time. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a good mechanic.

Big thanks for saving me from buying a bad truck. The truck looked gorgeous btw. But so much rust that the dealer clearly tried to hide with an underbody paint cover. And then they also pointed out how the engine was thoroughly cleaned with a degreaser to hide the leaks. Both the extreme rust and leaks were easy to see once on the lift. He said he could of pointed out 100 other things but he clearly got the point made that this truck was junk. Thanks!!!

I dropped in last week to get a quote for my car that someone hit in the parking lot and did not leave a note for. They looked at my car and used some cleaning agent to clean the dark looking scratch marks. Now from a distance you cannot see that there was damage. The only thing that remains is slight dent where the scratch happened. I did not expect this at all and the person who did the cleaning did not charge me anything. Hard to expect in today's times people not milking you for the smallest of services. They told me it would cost close to $1000 to get the dents removed and the paint blended in but I did not had to. So here I am being helped generously and given the right advice by this business. Definitely recommend visiting them for your body shop needs based on my experience.Service: Auto body & trim repair

I am a NEMT Volunteer Driver and we transport people on State Assistance in Washington State for their medical appointments.I had a time sensitive auto problem. I approached them telling them the situation and in no time they diagnosed the problem and I was able to transport the people I brought over to their home in central washington.

Super great experience with Nielson! Got battery replacement out of blue, no clue where to go to. My dealer never called me back. Out of 10, 6 told me can fix this. Out of that 6, 3 told me can do it within tow days. Out of that 3, nielson has best price offer which I thought I heard it wrong. But I gave it a shot, dropped the car that day. The second day I was able to pick up the car with new battery on my afternoon with a fair than ever price!

I called 6 auto repair shops to fix my body damage for my car. None of them would take me in and the estimate they provided was to high. At Nielsen Auto Repair they provided me with the cheapest estimate and fixed my car within a week.

Good place. Had an issue with my brakes in the afternoon and was able to drop it off and get it back the next day. Came back and had them install my dashcam. Fast and honest definitely recommend.

The mechanic s are knowledgeable and honest with what they are doing. I took my car to 2 mechanic shops and they all said it s not fixable. My experience was awesome with a great price I got my car running again and they saved my so much money and time.

My Lexus GX470 was having issue with Secondary Air injection valve and pump. I took it to Nielson and Hoss did a wonderfull job replacing the units and have my vehicle back in a short time as he promised. He also inspected and recommended me to replace the spark plugs which help my Lexus run smoother. He called and updated me with the progress and shared pictures of the old parts that was broken. I am very with this professional and honest service provided by Nielson Auto Repair, especially Hoss.Paul DServices: Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

I had my car towed to the shop.I found out I needed a new alternator. I was treated great by the shop owner. I had confidence and trust in him. This place used be my favorite trusted place. But not anymore.I called this place and took my car as the new owner told me so. He told me to come back coz he needs to open here and there of my car and I was told I need to leave my car for a few days. I went back there. He told me to come pick it up in 4, 5 hours. I was stuck coz I was coming from north Seattle. I called him coz it was already over one hour from the time I was told to be done. I was told , still working on it. I waited 2 more hours, which was 6pm. I called him, and he told me, I told you to leave your car for a few days. I went pick my car up. My car didn't even move from the place I parked. He doesn't remember about a few hours ago. This never happened with the old owner. Good bye.

True professionals and honest. I took my car in for an oil change. Toyota Kirkland told me that I needed major work, and I needed my engine pulled because of an oil seal leak ($3000.) I was skeptical, as they had told me things that weren't correct before. When I took my car in to Neilson's, I told them what the dealership said. He saw the leak, and he cleaned it to get a better look at it.It was the OIL SENSOR. Cost 58. and he ran over to get one, as he didn't have time to wait for delivery. Installed it for $63, and I was ready to go. I cannot say enough about this place. They have a customer in me. EXCELLENT, over the top, personal service. Honest. What more could you ask? THANK YOU SO MUCH!

I was sent by my boss to get the company truck fixed up before lunch (it had a rear blinker that wasn't working). Other shops were asking over $100 just to diagnose it, and saying it wouldn't be ready until the next day. In desperation I searched nearby mechanics, and at random chose to call Nielson; I'm glad I did. The mechanic agreed to check out my car immediately to see what was wrong, despite having a full afternoon. When I arrived, he quickly determined that it was a simple problem and changed the bulb. He then went on to change the front blinker and the backing light as well. When he finished I was braced for a hefty bill (since it was a rush job and we didn't discuss price before). To my shock, he asked for hardly more than the cost of the bulbs. He saved me a ton of hassle, and I was able to get lunch to my coworkers just in time! I intend to take my own car there whenever I can, and recommend them to anyone that will listen.

Kiomars has always been reasonable and professional with his service. He was able to get me back on the road quickly after a roadside mechanic messed up my vaccum line and power steering lines. The guys at Nielson Automotive made me feel comfortable in trusting them with my car repairs. As a woman its difficult to know if your in good trusting hands when you don't know too much about car repairs and with Nielson I knew I was not being taken advantage of.I will be back here for ALL my car repairs & diagnostics!

Nelson auto it s a great place to do your vehicle services, staff are great and knowledgeable, hassul did a great job on my Mercedes Benz transmission . Highly recommended
