Highly highly recommend. First, these are honest folks with fair prices and quality precise work. We ve been burned many times when taking parts in for work, but these folks charged us less than what we said our high point of what we could afford was.The original estimate for a diesel crank was a bit steep and understandably so. But our crank was fairly balanced so not much tungsten was needed. They could have easily been dishonest and said they had to use more or way more than they did. We appreciate the honesty and can not emphasize this enough.Second, we got the crank back in with the new balanced pistons, etc. (6.2 Detroit diesel J code) and it now has 3,578 miles on it and it s as smooth as butter we are very very pleased with the final outcome of this total rebuild, but we have to credit these folks for the work they did with the heart of this motor.We will return and encourage anyone who needs their crank balanced to come to this place. If you second guess whether it s really worth it? If you come here, yes it is. And if you want high longevity of your motor? Yes it is worth it. Especially if you come here. We expect this motor to last many many years and miles with the ARP head studs, new pistons, etc., and this excellent crank balance.Thank you Perpetual Balance!

He s an amazing machinest and his work is responsibly priced. I sent my rotating balance to get assembled, and he figure out I was sold the wrong crank when I had no idea! It was out of round .30 and it would ve vibrated my engine apart. Super nice guy. Would recommended to anyone trying to build an engine.

Mark is a great guy, I have been his customer for 10 years, maybe more. He gets it right every time. The company name should be "Perfect Balance" Clean shop, modern equipment, and great craftsmanship.
