Had noise coming from my front end the Mechanic with all the face piercings didn't even want to look at it, said it was beyond their repair? He stated it was either a bad Axel or spindle, which both can be done easily. Looks like their only looking to do oil changes and tires and batteries. The same guy couldn't even find a leak in my rim, went to a tire place and they stated the rim was bad, but he couldn't find it? They should just shut the doors and forget about auto service.

Rob the manager was so helpful today! I brought my car in to help fix a botched oil change (that was done at the Norfolk location). The oil was leaking profusely. He did not have to see me but he took the time to fix someone else s rookie mistake (that could have costed me thousands in possible repairs). Thank you, Rob! This is the only walmart location I will trust with any future oil changes. Don t go to the Norfolk locations if you can avoid it

The worst customer services I have seen. I got my oil change with them. After I get the service oil started to leak from bottom. I took it back to check what is wrong with it but they didn t even take a look at it. They told me that the rubber casket was ruined and drain plug was scraped by take five. The guy with piercing all of his face told me that he didn t take my car to his store and asked me to take my car to the take five. I took my car to take five and asked them to take a look at it. They just went under my car in less than 30 seconds. He torqued my drain plug screw and he said that it was just loose. They forgot the torqued it or they didn t even know how to finish a job. Because they don t have experience. The screw was halfway out. And right now its not leaking and I didn t replace any parts .I AM NOT COMING BACK

I took my car for oil change, and they took like an hour and 30 min to do it, and there was no car at the time, after 2 days my car start giving problems.

Apparently you have to schedule a auto service online now. I showed up early bout 8am and the old man working the auto side had an attitude said he didn't even know if he could squeeze me in with not a single car in any bay? Continued to tell me that it's a new service and they've been doing it for roughly a month and I should've known. I wasn't upset until he showed his @$$ . Went to wally world for years for simple auto services. Never again after this experience. Super strange

I've always had a good experience going into this location. I forget their names but, the one had a beanie on and the other guy has all the piercings. I feel bad not remembering their names....Either way, today when we didn't have an appointment they still took us in after they've had a busy/rough morning. I always appreciate their help and that they've been so helpful to me when I was pregnant and after.There's been a couple times I haven't had the best interactions with other people, but those two gentlemen have always been nice to me and straight up.

Took my car in to get two tires mounted and balanced. Price was too good to pass up, but my gut instincts were telling me that it's Walmart and they probably hire low level techs, that will probably damage a tpms sensor or over torque a lug and snap a stud. I had the service writer note the correct foot pounds on the work order. I should have went to a more competent installer for the price I have to pay to get the stud replacement. Took my car to the dealership and had had a quote for over $500. Walmart has been giving me the run around for almost a week and I just found out that they haven't made a case to get this issue resolved. Don't take your vehicle to this place, and if you're reading this then it's probably too late and your adding to the one star reputation for this shoddy operation of a shop. Trash techs, learn proper techniques. It'll save your job and reputation. Please believe I'm going to ride this till it gets rectified.

Jonathan was excellent he literally saved the day by switching my battery and wanted nothing extra in return. This is my job is what he said. Excellent customer service Hopefully someone high up recognizes this.

If I could give ZERO stars, I would. Worst customer service, rude staff, looked at me like I was crazy when I showed up for an appointment I scheduled to purchase four new tires. I could go on and on. I ended up taking my business else where. Don t waste your time, spend the extra $ and go to any other discount tire place and receive way better service, better product, and actually get spoken to like a human.

Need new tires mounted and balanced don't come here! After 3 hrs of mounting and balancing...smh I was left with a broken lug nut key, my tires/rims put on wrong, and an old tire left on my car since they couldn't take it off. Trash, never again.

Poor practices, poor/disrespectful service, and poor staff attitude. Returned car with uneven air pressure and tpms sensor light on resulting in having to take the car to somewhere else. Called corporate, was told I would be contacted within 3 days, corporate never called. Avoid this place. Choose a place that values your business and the well being of customers.

If I could give 10 stars I would:I went here to get four new tires and for starters the quote they gave me was hundreds of dollars cheaper than any other place around them! Everyone was extremely professional and kind. Rob and the crew changed my tires in 15 minutes, I didn't think that was even possible haha I will hands down use them from here on out. I forget the other gentleman's name who helped me, I believe it started with a J. He was super sweet and even gave me a heads up on another issue with my car (it's been on the long list of things to get fixed).Overall I highly recommend this place for a fair price and outstanding job. This morning, Tuesday, October 11th, I called the tire department three different times between 8:30am and 9am; however, there was no answer ..... Then I went to the store in the afternoon wanting to buy two tires. I was given a price and the inventory report showed that there were 7 tires in stock, so I asked the man to check to see if he had 2 in stock, so that I could buy them. He looked and looked; however, he could only find one. Then I asked him if there were any shipments coming in soon - and I was told that there was a shipment coming in either Friday or Monday (I forgot which he said). When I ask him if any of the tires I wanted were coming in on that shipment, he said that he did not know. Then I asked him if I special ordered 2 tires, when they would be in - and again he said that he did not know. This evening I called Corporate as I am a business consultant and the responses I received scared the heck out of me ...... I really like shopping at Walmart; however, whatever is going on with the Auto Service Department has definitely scared the living heck out of me ........ With competition being so fierce, excellent service and competitive pricing are paramount .... and this definitely did not inspire me to buy my tires or to have my car serviced at Walmart. How sad ..... Enough said .......

What a joke of a repair center , I come in on a Thursday at 3:30 pm and they only have 1 mechanic and they aren t doing tires for the rest of the day. I had already purchased my tire online and went to get it installed. Will never use Walmart for anything car related ever again

Came in for a simple oil change. The guy with all the medal in his face just looks at you. They really need someone at the counter who is customer service oriented. Horrible communication skills and definitely had the "I don't care attitude". Won't go back, not recommended.

Tried to change oil for my vehicle this Sunday, parked my car then I was not permitted to get in through the auto center entrance although there was a tag saying Customer Entrance instead I was rudely asked to leave the car in the parking lot and turn around to the use the main entrance in a rainy day without an umbrella! This was rude and impolite management! Lastly, after getting in he said sorry we are out of filters and are not able to do the service ! What. are you kidding me what kind of service is this !

I have been dealing with the Walmart auto center since it opened, but it is going downhill. Every time I go there now, I see new faces. Lousy, unprofessional and uncaring employees, you can t complain because the manager is even worst, she is not apologetic and it feels like she got scared talking to her employees. They don t want to work and are very disorganized. They treat you now like they are doing you a favor. They messed up my last oil change and my last tyre installation and rotation. It is not worth the aggravation and the wast of time.

Bought a 35" mud tire online and only needed a mounting and balancing. The rim size is 18" which is standard and was told it couldnt be done. Manager was great and told me they would try. They were able to do it after all. Would reccomend service here again.

I m very disappointed. I went in to change a simple tire (had a donut on it). Bought the tire, and now my speedometer does not work the second I turned the vehicle on. I d love for someone to explain how changing a simple tire eludes to changing or damaging another system. I have out of state plates. Coincidence? I m annoyed. Will not return to them.

I came here early in the morning.. 18 minutes after opening for a tire patch ( I know my warranty covers it because I called another local Walmart in chesapeake and they pulled all of my records literally the night before). For whatever reason, this place couldn't pull any of my records, and whoever was working the cash register in the morning ( May 31, 2019 7:18 AM ) had mad attitude. First she tried to tell me she couldn't look it up by last name In which she could, but she further tried to tell me my last name didn't have a warrantee under it, which it does. We have multiple accounts under my last name, so I'm not sure if that was the program or her not understanding what she was supposed to be looking up but either way it was very frustrating. I understand it's early, but no one has time for that type of attitude . I decided to leave and go to the other Walmart which I know can actually pull my records . The point is she could've tried harder to help and it's not my fault she doesn't know how to do her job. The Chesapeake Walmart was VERY friendly and got my records in seconds same day.

Horrible. No communication or respect for customer's. Understaffed and no management, the whole dept seems highly unorganized. The employees were rude and combative to me, continued to harass me after I asked them to stop. I will never take my car here again. It took an hour and a half for them to replace a battery, if I could have left I would have.

This is the worst service I have ever received in my entire life.NEVER coming back here for an oil change. 3hours 23mins for 1 oil change is ridiculous. Most of the employees arent even working...

17$ per tire to get put on? I could see if i had bought the tires from somewhere else but no i bought them from walmart. Employees are rude and have an idc attitude.
