I went to Southern Kia VA Beach 3/10/24 and was greeted by David. I explained what I was looking for and he delivered! I fell in love with the new surf blue Kia Soul S. David worked with me and was able to make it happen. He never pressured me and was always smiling. And finally, once we got into finance, Essence was a joy to work with. She made it a pleasant time while getting me taken care of in a timely manner.I will definitely tell friends and family about my 5 star car buying experience with Southern Kia!Thanks again!

The wait time might be long but genuinely as someone who realizes how understaffed a lot of places I ve worked at and I completely understand. Not only was that explained to me but thoroughly explained what is proven diagnosed with my car. Ashley if you see this you are the sweetest and I m sorry I missed your voicemail telling me, but I appreciate your patience to repeat it even more :)

My husband and I went to Southern KIA VA Beach and didn t know what to expect. We sure are glad we ran into Cornelius! He listened, answered questions (he s thorough!), and did not pressure us at all. He s professional and still fun. We actually had fun! Then BOOM we had a new car!Once we had our car picked out, we worked with Essence in Finance. She wasn t even supposed to be at work that day yet she still had a smile on her face.We would absolutely go back to Southern KIA VA Beach just to work with these two and to end up with a fabulous vehicle!

Has anyone experienced the same problem? What is the reason for the glass to open like this without anything falling on it? What did you do? The car is 2022, has anyone called the warranty? Did the car insurance pay for or did you have to pay out of pocket?

My family has bought several cars from this Location, and every time the service, the salesman, and the manager have been absolutely fantastic. Best pricing ever, no haggling straight forward people 10 out of 10 recommend. You must see Jeff Griffin, he's simply wonderful and will make sure you are taken care of!

Really great experience purchasing my new car from Kia! Vinny was such a great help walking me through everything and making sure I knew what was going on the whole time. Wes talked me through all the financial information as well and was a big help. Overall I d highly recommend buying a car here as everyone I came in contact with was nothing but helpful and kind!

The new service advisor I met today was very friendly and professional when I arrived late for my appointment. It was certainly a breath of fresh air for me. I drive over an hour to get my car serviced and have to deal with the HRBT tunnel and was late but no issues they got me right in. Hope this level of service continues to be honest it has been hit or miss in previous years but I think they are onto something now.

I had a great buying experience at Southern GMC. My sales person Shannon Burris was awesome. Told me he wasn t letting me leave until I was happy and in my new Truck. He was correct. I can t thank him enough for the great deal he crafted with his manager. The finance manager Wes Jackson was very informative and helpful. I can not thank you guys enough. I am very happy with my new 1500 Sierra pickup.

Originally dealt with Kia a year ago when purchasing a car from them. Wanted an upgrade an it seemed that they were nothing but dishonest a sketchy when trying to talk payments. Price given was completely different from a quote we received and when we tried to ask what interest rate the pricing was based off of they would not give us the rate a kept telling us it was average. Afterwards they kept trying to push a car on us that we didn t want at the same price by saying it was on the lot for 100+ days a they needed it gone. Dealing with this dealership left a very sour taste in my mouth and unfortunately has deterred me from ever going back.

This dealership is AMAZING! I walked in not being 100% confident if I was going to actually buy a vehicle, but they were patient with me and not pushy. Cornelius (sales person) was great at making me feel comfortable in making the decision on my own. He was helpful and guided me through the entire process smoothly. The rest of the staff was also very helpful. Every single person in the dealership was very kind and professional. I couldn't have asked for a better experience buying a car. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a new vehicle.

This was my first ever time purchasing a vehicle and I could not have asked for a more smooth experience. I highly recommend seeing Cornelius Scott, as he was truly phenomenal in helping my family and I select the car we wanted for a great price. He was super honest, transparent, informative, and made us feel extremely comfortable in making this big purchase! Would 10 out of 10 recommend Cornelius, and Southern Kia in general, for finding a car!

This establishment has a knack for dishonesty, gladly extracting payment for nonexistent services. If safeguarding your finances and time holds any importance, steer clear of this place. Simply peruse the multitude of dissatisfied customers who've taken the effort to express their grievances. If misery loves company, then a visit to Southern Kia - Virginia Beach guarantees disappointment. Spare yourself the agony and seek services elsewhere. Their service department is equally abysmal, setting a new low standard.

I had the honor of working with Cornelius after my initial conversation with T.J. Cornelius was by far one of the best salesman in all of my 30+ years of buying new vehicles from a dealership! He definitely helped the entire process go smoothly and was very attentive every step of the way! Cornelius was very professional and answered every question! Hearing the words engine replacement began as a very scary experience for me. To my delight, the Southern Lynnhaven Virginia Beach Service Dept got it right!!! Today, I picked up my vehicle and I'm smiling from the inside out. It's that Southern hospitality!!! Thank you RT and Team!!!

9/21/2023- dropped my car off on Dec. 28, 2022, and I just now finally got my car back. Someone tried to break in my car, so now I have a car with a partially pried open driver door. But don t worry it s not southern fault because they have no control for who goes on to their lot a destroys their customer s vehicles. And no way of looking up security footage because it sat in the same spot for 9 MONTHS!!!But I m done complaining. This whole experience has strained me. I will be cleaning up my car and getting rid of it as soon as I can.If anything, I want to thank southern Kia. If it wasn t for you guys, I would still be a na�ve loyal customer of Kia. Because of you guys, I will never own a Kia ever again. I will tell everyone I know to stay away from Kia and to especially stay away from ALL southern dealerships.Lastly, I hope you guys are paying Wes and the other service guys a livable wage. Even with all the drama I stirred up for you guys on social media, I know there were angrier customers than me. Of all the times I have gone off on Wes, he always remained calm and found a way to calm me down.After doing research about you dealership, meeting other ex customers for southern, and talking to other dealerships in the area you guys have a history of poor customer service in the service department.I am just glad to finally have my car back and to finally be done with you.

Went to a couple other dealerships before coming to Southern Kia Virginia Beach. Save your time and go here first! Knew exactly what I wanted when I came here and the staff were very friendly. They went above and beyond with explaining everything, made me feel at home when I was there. I highly recommend TJ Caforio, he made the whole process a lot less intimidating and was great to talk to. Sarah was also a big help in making the process go smoothly, it was a great experience. I loved my old Kia and now I love my new Kia as well.

Update #2: More false promises. This organization should be absolutely ashamed of themselves. Coming up to 3 weeks after the sales manager contacted us, promised the spare tire, and zero follow through. Radio silence. Lowing rating from 2 stars to 1 stars. Do NOT trust this dealership.Update #1: Southern Kia Sales Manager has contacted us, and they are working to resolve the missteps. More to come...My husband and I purchased a car from Southern Kia in April 2023 from sales associate David White. There were a number of follies that occurred throughout the process including the dealership losing the car keys for the car we were selling to the dealership, which had our house key on it. Thankfully, the keys were found a couple hours later after we had left and found an alternative means to get into our house. But this was not the most disappointing action. As part of the deal, we were promised a spare tire for the vehicle. We even have a promissory note for it. It's December 2023, and we have yet to receive our spare tire. We have gone to the dealership and called the dealership a countless number of times. In return, we received excuses and false promises about the parts department ordering the tire, etc, yet never received a call back. We have asked to speak with the Dealership GM, and we were told that the GM would call us, but never did. I will never purchase a vehicle from a company that cannot live up to its promises.

Simply put, I had an amazing experience thanks to Deshawn! I usually hate car shopping because of pushy salesmen but Deshawn was the complete opposite! Extremely knowledgeable about each and every feature in the car I was looking for. He was friendly, approachable and hands down the most humble salesman I ve met. If you re looking for a car and have questions, please give this Navy Veteran a call or set up an appointment ASAP. Deshawn will deliver!!!

Extremely upset with how today went at the dealership. First off we had an appt at 1pm and didn t leave till 5:30pm. We went because of a check engine light that came on a couple weeks ago. Was told by my mechanic that the transmission computer needed to be updated AND she said she left the code for the dealership to see so they could fix because they could not fix it. Then on our way home after sitting in the dealership for 4 hours, for them to say they couldn t fix the code because it was not still in the computer . The engine light came back ON.Very unhappy customer .

Full disclosure: I have never been able to receive services at this dealership and that s the exact reason for this review.I called four separate times, once a week, throughout the month of December in attempt to make a service appointment for my new Kia. I left a voicemail each time and never received a callback. I spoke with a human one time for about two seconds and her only question was which make I had and then she forwarded me immediately to someone s voicemail, regardless of my protests and the fact I was in the middle of a sentence when she transferred me. I then put in two separate service requests via my Kia app over the last two weeks and again, I have never heard from the dealership. 0/10 for customer service.

Initially my wife and I liked the service however there have been issues since we bought a Kia there:We dealt with a team that apparently quit or were let go and there was no update so when we showed up for the services we HAD already paid for we were apparently not on the schedule. Ever since then there has been horrible communication and lack of accountability. Save your time and money and get a car through another service. Do not support this establishment.

I have to give them a one star if I could I would give a 0, Grade F for customer service, can never get a hold of a real person to talk to, leave messages and never get a return call! I would drive 200 miles to a different dealer before ever dealing with them!!Over all rating-0 across the board!!

The worst service department I have ever dealt with. Needed a drivers side window replaced along with a new sterring column. This after a break-in. After speaking with a service rep I was given a date three weeks away for some one to look at my vehicle. On the date given I had a nine oclock appointment. Was on time but had to wait three hours for an answer. At that time I was told the repair could not be done for another two and half weeks. After that tme frame I went to the service department to have the work done but was given no time as to completion. I called several time to check the status but never received a call back from my service rep or anyone else. I then went to the Kia dealer only to find out the part sent was the wrong part. Was told a emergency order would be placed and the part should be in today. Again I have made several attempts to contact my service rep but as yet received no call back. Spoke with someone in sales to help me and he said he was able to speak with the service rep. and was told the part might be in next week. And still no call back from anyone except te sales rep. This is my second Kia and it will be my last. As soon as the service is completed I'm buying something else. I wish I was able to speak with some one in charge but they never return calls.
