I wish I had found Zach and National Car Care sooner. I had taken my car to another place locally that was always trying to upsell me, and the manager would brag about how much more profitable the store was since he got there.Zach is the opposite. He s literally trying to find ways to save you money. He knows specialists for certain cars or certain problems, and he ll refer you to them if he thinks they can do it better and/or cheaper than he can. He has old-school values, loves what he s doing, and loves taking care of people. Even his hobby is working on cars.

This is a very busy mechanic shop. Went there to get my car inspected and the service manager advised me to come early as they open at 7:00. I got there around 8:30 and was not able to pick my car up until around 12:30. But everything was completed no issues and Zack was the service manager telling me there was no problem that he would be getting to it.

I'm new to the area and needed a state inspection. This was the closest to me via Google. I lucked out. I've been back for an oil change. While sitting in the waiting area I have heard the owner's conversations with other customers. The owner is honest, trustworthy, and helpful. Genuinely wants to take care of his patrons. Highly recommend.

Zach is a great mechanic. Very professional. If you wonder if they are good, look at the parking lot, it is always full. Good place to get an inspection, great place to get your car worked on. We will be back

Very knowledgeable did not try to sell me a bunch of repairs. Vehicle inspection went off with out a problem. Staff is very friendly.

Whenever someone asks me about a good shop for maintenance and inspections, I automatically refer them to Zach at National Car Care.I've been dealing with Zach since 2017! Never had an issue.He's worked on my car and my wife's.Zach is an awesome guy who has the ability to make ANYONE happy and treats people with respect and kindness.5 out of 5 every time.

We have been going there for years. I highly recommend this shop. I have never once had a bad experience. I recently took my car in and it need quite a few things done. The price was much lower than I thought it would be. Excellent service! Quick and at a fair price. Zack and his staff are the real deal. They went above and beyond to correct an issue (not their fault) with my vehicle after it was serviced. They have gained a customer for life.

These guys are pretty much the best. I've gone to them for a few years and they've always treated me right.I read a complaint from a potential customer who found no one at the front desk, and he said he'd just go to Big Al's Mufflers and they'd take care of him right away. I sure don't know what planet he's on, cuz I'm a regular at Big Al's too and there isn't always someone at the desk, and unless you're there early, it can take 2 hours. I've heard that with my own ears.Go to Jiffy Lube if you're in a hurry dude.

These guys are amazing and truthful. If you're looking for a place that is honest, hardworking and great priced. This is your place. Fair warning, there is a wait because usually someone isnt in the office...because they are working hard on fixing the cars. Zach is a amazing person that makes you feel like family. He's always straight up about your car and gives you the best price possible while still being able to stay in business. Never any complaints about this shop. Never had to bring car back for same repair. We need more local businesses like this. Being a do it myself mechanic most of the time, he is the only one I bring my cars to if I dont have the time or knowledge. Thank you National Car care! Hampton roads is a better place because of guys like you!

As long as I live in VB, Zach will be my only mechanic. Zach is awesome. He's worked on several of my vehicles for years and years. He's fair, honest and dependable. If I've ever had an issue with something, he handles it immediately. I've never had to second guess them or their work. Just to be clear, when I say "ever have an issue", to be clear, yes I've had an issue or something else arise on a vehicle, which is only a man made machine. I've never had an issue with ANY employee there and never had to question their integrity or motives. Zach and his dad Larry are as upfront and honest as you can get. What else could you ask for?

Most honest and personable mechanic in the Seven Cities. If you've got trust issues with the automotives field, bet on Zach and company to give you the fairest shake and the utmost quality. By far THE BEST shop experience I ve ever had. Unfortunately, I was unable to catch the name of the gentleman who helped me but he was done in 5 minutes flat and sent me on my way. The other younger gentleman present was very kind as well. This experience really brightened my day and I ll be referring everyone I know to this shop from here on out

I've had a great experience here, unlike other places they deliver service as promised in a timely manner at fair prices. And unlike other places they avoid unnecessary extra repairs which has been my experience in the past. It has become my go to place especially since my truck is about to hit 200k miles they helped me keep her going!

This is my shop in the 757. They stay busy, but are very trustworthy and fair. They are up front about all costs involved and work hard to make sure you are satisfied. Love this place.
